As the Finance and Operations Director & Deputy Chief Executive, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring that Pharmacist Support is financially sustainable and operationally efficient. This is a hands-on role for a "doer" who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’ll work closely with our Chief Executive, Senior Management Team, and Board of Trustees to help steer the charity toward continued success.

Main duties
Form a close working relationship with the Marketing and Finance teams
Lead the development and delivery of the Outreach Services strategic plan
Take overall control of the delivery, development and quality standards of the Outreach Services – BeyondAutism Fast Responder®, Outreach and Training Meet sales targets
Ensure that the Outreach Services impact measures are robust, compliant and support current activities and future growth
Take a lead role in the promotion of BeyondAutism’s Outreach Services Development and strategy
Develop and deliver the Outreach Services strategic plan in line with the organisational strategic objectives
Market and stakeholder analysis – contribution to and evaluation of options as charity develops, monitor progress
Manage the resolution of Outreach Services’ customer complaints and concerns, increasing the positive reputation and profile of BeyondAutism
Grow the national BeyondAutism Fast Responder® network Finance/budget Achieve sales targets Ensure appropriate reporting of sales to the CEO and COO Overall responsibility for achieving the Outreach Services annual budget Set and monitor KPI’s
Reporting and monitoring
Weekly reporting of enquiries and conversion to service delivery
Monthly reporting of complaints, concerns and satisfactions to inform organisational learning
Monthly reporting to SMT High level summary reporting for presentation to the Board of Trustees Reflect and present information in appropriate formats for internal and external use Administration and relationships Ensure that an accurate and up-to-date CRM is maintained
Ensure the conversion time from enquiry to signed service level agreement does not exceed 21 days
Ensure service level agreements are signed within 14 days of issue and that the service is deliverable, maintaining the highest quality standards.
Ensure the services provide high quality proposals, assessments and service level agreements to stakeholders Safeguarding
To act as DSL and ensure that all children are kept safe, and that staff are confident to follow safeguarding procedures Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures and be responsible for ensuring all Outreach Services staff receive health and safety training
Ensure risk assessments are in place, and that training for team members is in place – specifically in relation to Lone Working People
Lead, develop and support the Outreach Services team to ensure KPIs are achieved

Role Requirements
The Head of Health & Safety is the lead and designated “competent person” for all health and safety matters, including fire safety at The Children’s Trust underpinning the three key work streams: “safe care,” “safe workplace” (including occupational health and well-being), and “safe retail and (fundraising) events”. The role holder has the authority to require the immediate cessation of any unsafe working practices.
With experience of working in a complex environment, across a large and diverse workforce, you will be exceptionally organised with a high-level of attention to detail. You will naturally possess excellent inter-personal skills, and an ability to consult and positively engage with key stakeholders across the organisation.

Our expert team of canine behaviourists provide behavioural support and advice to teams within Battersea, members of the public, and the rescue organisations we work with around the world. The team design and help implement behaviour modification and training plans for dogs whilst coaching members of the canine care groups through the practical day-to-day steps. They also assist with behavioural and welfare assessments of animals who come into our centres and are on hand to help manage and provide further support with dogs with more complex behavioural needs. The team provide support to dogs during their stay at Battersea, and are also available for continued advice after rehoming.
We are now looking to recruit a Canine Behaviour and Training Advisor for our team in Old Windsor. Within this role, you will work with our operational teams in the assessment and welfare of the dogs in our care and in the provision of behavioural training and advice for staff, volunteers, customers and external organisations. You will be working as part of a care group to create behaviour modification plans, support with handling difficult dogs and make recommendations, along with the individual care group, for individual dog outcomes.

The Corporate & Public Engagement team in the Communications Directorate promotes corporate interest in the College and engages future medics and scientists in careers in pathology, particularly through our awareness activities, including National Pathology Week.

What the job involves
We’re looking for an Events and Community Fundraising Coordinator to join our Events and Community Team. A high performing team who are driven to maximise opportunities, we aim to reach ambitious targets and provide an excellent supporter experience.
Our team raises funds through a range of activities including:
· our own events (e.g. March for Men)
· virtual products (e.g. The Month Series)
· third party events (e.g. London Marathon)
· Golf Days
· helping community fundraisers who organise their own activity
You’ll be our first point of contact for our fundraisers. You'll provide admin and support through telephone, email, and social media channels. You’ll build and manage relationships with existing and new supporters. From registration to the end of their supporter journey you'll help motivate during challenges, offer fundraising advice and ensure thanks at the end of a first-class experience. Whilst each Coordinator has a primary area of responsibility across different types of events, you’ll also work across teams to support where needed during busy periods of activity.
This role works with data through maintaining our Raiser’s Edge database. You'll also update records on JustGiving and Facebook Fundraising. This requires accuracy and working under the requirements of GDPR.
You’ll also work with our Communications teams. This supports the planning and delivery of our activity. You'll help engage with our digital adverts and identify compelling supporter stories. This helps to raise the profile of our fundraising products, as well as prostate cancer and Prostate Cancer UK.

You’ll have the drive and determination to provide crucial support to our sector-leading programme of events which generated over £10.3m of gross income in 2022-23. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their fundraising career to grow, develop and gain valuable skills and experience in a fundraising role within a progressive and innovative organisation. You’ll be part of a passionate and high energy team fighting to stop prostate cancer from being a killer.
You’ll make a positive and valuable contribution to the success of the Events and Community Fundraising team through excellent communication skills and being proactive in supporting our event participants. You’ll have a strong eye for detail, customer-centric mindset and will be able to prioritise a busy workload to ensure we are able to consistently deliver excellent supporter care. You’ll be self-motivated, well organised and have a ‘can-do’ approach to the role.

We’re looking for an ambitious fundraiser to join our Philanthropy team, capitalising on recent growth and with the chance to really make your mark. Your role is to engage influential and high-profile individuals and Trusts in the UK, connecting them to the difference they can make to thousands of men facing prostate cancer.
Providing the highest level of stewardship, you’ll ensure existing and new supporters feel valued, inspiring them to make five and six figure gifts, which will significantly improve the lives of men facing prostate cancer and their families. You’ll also harness the support of our enthusiastic and influential Trustees, Senior Volunteers and Leadership Team, involving them in ‘making the ask’, thanking, as well as attending events.

What we want from you
You’ll have a strong team ethic, along with the enthusiasm and willingness to be flexible in achieving targets and outcomes. With experience of Major Donor and/or Trust fundraising and a proven track record of achieving five and six figure gifts, you’ll have outstanding persuasion, negotiation and communication skills, along with the ability to develop strong relationships with high-net-worth individuals, Trusts, Trustees and Directors.
You’ll be highly organised and adept at juggling multiple tasks and have the ability to balance management of existing donors while cultivating potential new supporters. You’ll be able to dive into the detail of individual engagement plans whilst keeping an eye on the big picture of the overall programme and how to achieve it so we can save more men’s lives.

This role will manage the daily running of third-party service providers, who are used by the Supporter Care and Services team, wider Fundraising teams, and by the third parties and in-house through KPIs and SLAs. As part of the role, you will manage the stock, storage and fulfilment of all of Barnardo’s new and existing fundraising and marketing materials, ensuring all compliance requirements are met, and operating the procedures and storage services for the team. You will develop and maintain performance reports as required, and will manage, manipulate and update data from multiple sources. You will manage the thanking processes used internally and externally and all associated service suppliers, meeting the needs of supporters, whilst also operating payroll giving administration, processing data and leading the onboarding process of new supporters.
To be successful in the role of Supporter Services and Fulfilment Executive you will need:
- Significant experience working with third-party service providers obtained from the commercial or charity sectors
- Experience developing and introducing systems and processes that improve efficiencies and effectiveness whilst saving costs
- Customer Relationship Management database experience, such as Salesforce
- Experience managing warehousing, stock, and fulfilment services
- Experience developing and working with Gift Aid

The Role
You will support the contract delivery of the Champions programmes, ensuring contract milestones are met. The Champions programmes are online professional development programmes designed to support early years settings to drive continuous improvement and increase high standards in early education for children from birth to five years, in line with the organisations mission to promote quality in early years for UK and international customers.
Working closely with other early years advisors, delivery partners, managers and cross teams, you will be responsible for the delivery of Champions programmes.
You will work with the private, voluntary, maintained and independent sectors, and school provision providing advice and support relating to Champions programmes that enable practitioners within nursery settings with practice improvement resulting in better outcomes for children.
About You
Educated to degree level/early year’s teacher specialising in children’s speech, communication, language and mathematical development or equivalent in early years you will have experience of:

- Coaching and mentoring early years practitioners to support practice improvement
