Heart Research UK is a leading non-profit organisation dedicated to stopping people dying from heart diseases. The Health Promotion & Education team enhance the heart health of the UK population through innovative health improvement programs.

The Healthy Heart Coach will deliver health checks, provide tailored heart health lifestyle advice, and conduct heart health coaching sessions within community, workplace and event settings. The coach will also be responsible for ensuring accurate data capture, maintaining and replenishing stock for events, assisting in the development of engaging health promotion resources and future delivery of health education workshops and exercise sessions.

This role is hybrid to our Leeds office but is primarily remote with travel across the UK to health check locations. About the role

This vacancy is for a University Access Officer to work in two of our schools in Hackney and Highbury currently delivering our Gateway programme and moving to our new Accelerate programme next school year.

The University Access Officer works with school staff at all levels, volunteer tutors and coaches, and with the rest of The Access Project’s team to ensure that the delivery of our programmes is optimised.

Role responsibilities

• Work directly with students in a professional and safe manner.

• Engage with school staff, your Programme Manager, and students in school to ensure that you have fully enrolled cohorts across both programmes.

We are looking for a Supported Housing Support Worker to join our Hastings Foyer team. Main areas of responsibilities are:

Housing

• Coach young people to manage their occupancy agreement and adhere to house rules, in preparation for independent living. 
• Promote a credit culture, encouraging young people to keep up to date with all payments for rent.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of housing and welfare benefits for young people and be well-informed on significant changes to housing law.
• Deal effectively with non-compliance issues, such as non-payment of rent or damage to room, using restorative practices and working collaboratively with the rest of the team.

Coaching and Engagement

• Coach young people so they can articulate their aspirations and ambitions and take the lead in acquiring the skills they need to live independent and fulfilling lives.
• Ensure young people are encouraged to take responsibility for their own personal development, to engage with the services on offer and build strong networks and connections within the local community. 
• Ensure consistent standards of safeguarding and Trauma Informed Practice when supporting young people, observing our safeguarding procedures, and keeping yourself and residents safe by respecting professional boundaries.
• Maintain client records on In-Form (client database) detailing the young person’s journey in relation to their strengths and needs, any risks, and any outcomes (to monitor service performance).

The Team Leader is responsible for the operational management of our specialist customer focused support services across the service. This newly created Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will be responsible for providing key insights to support strategic decision-making, ensuring financial performance aligns with business objectives, and embedding a culture of finance business partnering across the Football Foundation (the charity) and the Premier League Stadium Fund (PLSF). Additionally, the role will oversee strategic financial planning, forecasting, and analysis activities across the organisation.

The role:

• Lead and consolidate business partnering in the organisation, ensuring close collaboration with management group, department heads, and other key stakeholders to gather insights and ensure alignment on KPI’s and objectives.
• Lead the preparation and execution of the Foundation’s long-term strategic financial plans and annual budgeting processes in an effective and timely manner.
