- An outstanding fundraiser, with a track record of securing four and five figure donation.
- A fundraising professional, experienced in working within at least one of the main areas of fundraising: membership, individual donors, grant-makers or corporates.

Role Description:
Research and Prospecting - Working alongside the Director, Development Committee and the Board, you will identify and research prospective people, companies and grant-makers that could support Queer Britain.
Pipeline Management - Using our CRM system, you will maintain our pipeline, ensuring records are up to date and accurate.
Cultivation - Using the full resources of Queer Britain, you will create cultivation plans that may include informal meetings, tours of the museum, meetings with key Museum staff, workshop visits and private dinners
Making the ask - You will be fearless in asking people to support the Museum, and will support the Museum Director with pitching to companies and writing grant applications.
Stewarding and Reporting - You will ensure that all Queer Britain supporters understand the impact of their donation with a stewardship programme that entertains, engages, and encourages renewal.

About us:
Hospice at Home’s core service is its skilled team of Registered Nurses and Healthcare Assistants who provide exceptional care and support in people’s last year of life and at end of life, also providing additional services such as Lymphoedema, Bereavement and Family Support, Befriending, Occupational Therapy and Complementary Therapy.
We provide individualised care and support to improve quality of life and our end of life care helps facilitate a peaceful and dignified death in the home and support to those who are bereaved.
Although we receive some funding from the NHS, we need to raise over 85% of our running costs in order to ensure that this vital help is available when needed and remains free of charge to patients and their families. Our Fundraising team plays a huge part in raising these vital funds.
Our clinical service area covers a mixture of urban and rural communities, a region of approximately 1,500 square miles throughout North and East Cumbria.

About the Job
The Systems & Management Accountant will play a crucial role in maintaining and developing the finance system to ensure it is up-to-date and fit-for-purpose. This includes identifying improvements in structure, reporting, and overall data analysis. The current systems in use is OpenAccounts v.8 and a legacy CRM system. This is a hybrid role also involving supporting the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team in producing the annual budget, long-term financial business plans, monthly management accounts, and quarterly forecasts. The position is based in London with hybrid working options, offering flexibility and a balanced work-life environment.The split is likely to start as 50:50 between systems and supporting the Finance Business Partners, but it is likely to lean more towards systems with time, as the postholder puts in place elements such as automation. Person Required
The ideal candidate will be a fully or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with significant experience in a Systems Accountant role or involvement with a systems implementation or upgrade (ideally OpenAccounts). They should have a strong background in management accounting, system upgrades, and financial reporting. Proficiency in OpenAccounts is very desirable. The candidate must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, advanced Excel proficiency, and the ability to tailor reports to various audiences. Experience with overseeing system version upgrades, chart of accounts coding changes, and converting spreadsheet-based reporting to system-based reporting is highly desirable.

Impact Strategy and Reporting
- Ensure that all reporting is aligned with both funders’ requirements and the organisation's broader impact goals, while preserving its independence and vision.
- Lead the design, review, and implementation of BLP’s impact framework and monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) strategy, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporter care and ideally have prior experience in a donor support role or experience in customer service, administration as well as data entry. Main duties of the job
This is an integral role which aspires to give our supporters the best possible experience on their fundraising journey with the aim of building long term relationships. OVERVIEW
We currently have a small fundraising team that has been together since April 2023, consisting of a Partnerships Manager, a Trusts and Foundations Manager and an Events Co-ordinator. The new Interim Head of Fundraising will lead this team, including our Communications and Marketing Manager.
Our desire is not just to bring a person on board who will lead the team from behind the lines, but someone who will take full ownership of the fundraising targets and be the visible lead fundraiser of the charity.
We want someone who will effectively deliver year one of our new three-year fundraising and marketing strategy to achieve future planned growth. Key responsibilities will be:
Team Leadership
- Take ownership of the fundraising targets and ensure that they are met.
- Lead the fundraising team and be ultimately responsible for their job satisfaction, appraisals and personal development.
- Ensure continuous evaluation of all fundraising activity.
- Monitor progress of each stream of fundraising and make adjustments as needed to achieve targets.
Relationship Generation and Stewardship
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with existing and potential donors, including individuals and corporations.

Strategy

Job Purpose
- Supporting the Director of Operations and working alongside the Professional Development Manager, you will have responsibility for the management of all the Chartered Institute’s existing qualifications.
- You will be responsible for the academic integrity of qualification-related learning products, including responsibility for the assessment and external verification processes.
- You will also be responsible for project managing the rewrite of our Level 4 Certificate and Level 5 Diploma qualifications through a team of experienced tutors.
- You will scope the opportunity to deliver a Level 3 and Level 6 qualification for future release, offering modular options for students.
- In addition, you will contribute to our journey to achieving awarding status from Ofqual and work with the Executive Director of Change on the final stage of our chartered status, achieving the power to award Individual chartered status for fundraisers.
Key Accountabilities
- Provide support to potential, current, and future students including advising on suitable courses and qualifications, assessment, and options for their career path.
- Maintain excellent relationships with the Chief Examiner, External Examiner, and qualification tutors in relation to assignments or examinations.
- Attend the annual Exam Board (and qualification faculty training days) supporting the administration as appropriate.
