Purpose of the job 

This role is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding individual to join the UK Youth Fundraising team. UK Youth already works with a broad range of exciting corporate partners, including Coca-Cola Europacific Partners, KFC, Burger King and RSA Insurance. This role focuses on identifying and securing new income generation opportunities with Corporate Partners across strategic, commercial and charity of the year style collaborations. 

Key responsibilities

• Lead and secure income from new corporate organisations and achieve new business targets
• Identify new corporate opportunities to add to the new business corporate pipeline
• Pro-actively engage new businesses using a range of methods: e.g. working with senior stakeholders, events, networking, cold calls, emails, LinkedIn
• Develop and strengthen warm relationships with prospective funders and find opportunities to engage them in the work of UK Youth
• Develop corporate bids, budgets and proposals, managing the process across different teams, cultivating strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Create and present high quality, persuasive funding bids to C-suite audiences and senior stakeholders
• Present and attend meetings alongside senior leaders and stakeholders at UK Youth
• Work with the Senior Partnerships Manager to identifying new streams of income from different corporate audiences
• Work with the Senior Partnerships Manager to develop the corporate partnerships offer beyond income generation, identifying opportunities for corporate partners to offer their skills and expertise to further UK Youth’s charitable objectives
• Ensure all donations are accurately recorded and recognised, working closely with the finance team
• Ensure that the CRM is up to date and accurate at all times
• Keep up to date with trends, research and data on fundraising and corporate partnerships, helping to inform long-term strategy

Experience we're after

• Demonstratable experience in a sales or corporate fundraising role, working on six – seven figure proposals
• Proven track record of corporate partnerships fundraising/ securing sales targets from new organisations
• Experience of working in a busy and deadline-driven environment and achieving ambitious targets
• Experience negotiating, pitching and presenting to senior (C-suite) internal and external stakeholders

In this varied role the Examiner and Committee Administrator will be high functioning and able to multitask to support and service the RCR’s exam committee meetings. You will provide secretariat support for committee as well as organising facilities, travel, accommodation, dinners, and expenses as well as manage the examiner recruitment, induction and training process. 

The successful candidate will be a good communicator, able to work collaboratively with colleagues, examiners, and chairs of relevant committees. As the Supporter Engagement Officer, you’ll create opportunities for our amazing supporters to connect with and drive our work through various means of individual giving. You'll create engaging communucations, ensuring that our donors feel valued and understand the impact they're having on babies and their families, and you'll develop key appeals and individual giving activity to drive growth in these income streams.

1. Manage the development of individual giving income streams, including legacy giving, regular giving, one-off gifts, in memory giving and new products

3. Oversee administration and stewardship of individual giving income
4. Manage the promotion, sale and distribution of Lullaby Trust merchandise

This role can be offered as a hybrid role (with approximately one day per week in our London office) or fully remote, with occasional visits to the office for meetings or staff days as necessary; the two salary ranges above reflect this. The 21 hours could be worked across 3-5 days per week.

About the role:

The Advance Specialist Prison & Probation Advocate will support women within the prison setting, provide pre-release support, focused on Accommodation, Finance, debt & benefits, Family & significant others and Social inclusion including ‘through the gate’ support.

This exciting new role will be based in HMP Bronzefield and will support in developing referral pathways for women and work in partnership with different departments and services within the prison as well as those in the community. You will co-design an action plan with women accessing support, enabling you to support them to address their accommodation, finance, debt and benefits and health needs and any risks in relation to the interventions identified, as they prepare for release. The role will involve a combination of casework-based approach with delivery of programmes and courses, along with a signposting and advice service for the women in custody.

You will have demonstrable experience and understanding of working with women in a challenging multi-agency environment, ideally working with prisoners and/or their families.

You will build strong relationships with the Pre Release teams to ensure clients are able to maintain or access suitable accommodation, finance, benefits and debt, family and social inclusion support including negotiating terms on behalf of the women. Ensure that interventions are responsive to and meet the needs of women from diverse and minoritised backgrounds. This, together with referrals to wider partner organisations in the community, will ensure additional support needs are addressed post-release and continuity of support exists.

A car may be desirable for this role, though not essential

About You:

To be successful as the Advance Specialist Prison & Probation Advocate you will need the below experience and skills:

Knowledge and experience of the criminal justice system obtained through academic study, experience of working in the criminal justice system (or closely associated social system).

The ability and experience as a caseworker delivering gender specific and trauma responsive interventions which support resettlement and rehabilitation of female adults in the criminal justice system whether in the community or in prisons.

You will possess excellent organisational skills, excellent communication skills and be able to work in a prison environment whilst remaining calm.

Knowledge and understanding of the requirements of managing a caseload including maintaining and updating records, remaining focused on action plan goals, and keeping to deadlines

You will have the ability to complete trauma informed, support and action plans in collaboration with the woman; to support in addressing their multiple and individual needs and enable them to engage with services, which will result in timely and prescribed outcomes being achieved.

We are looking for a Giggle Doctor Programme Administrator to join our busy programme team, to support the day-to-day operations of our Giggle Doctor programme for hospitals.

This is a part-time, one-year contract to support the running of the Giggle Doctor programme while a member of the team is on maternity leave. We are flexible as to which days are worked, providing that the post-holder has a fixed working pattern over a minimum of 3 days per week. This post requires work from the office as well as some work from home. We will provide training to the successful candidate on how to fulfil the key tasks of the role.

Job Description

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Administration

· Act as first point of call for artists regarding their visits to hospitals, overseeing sickness, cover and changes to their schedules

· Support artists with hospital administration and contracts

· Keep artists updated with changes in Theodora Children’s Charity’s policies

· Process changes to the Giggle Doctor schedule on our internal systems

· Liaise with hospitals and keep them up to date with information about their programme of Giggle Doctor visits

· Set up meetings with hospitals, artists and Theodora Foundation colleagues as required

· Book long-distance travel and hotels for artists for hospital visits and training events when required

· Support the Finance Manager and Giggle Doctor Programme Manager with collecting and filing timesheets, invoices and receipts for payment

Training and Events

· Support the Giggle Doctor Programme Manager with events, including booking rooms, resources and catering

· Attend training events for Giggle Doctors, setting up and packing down as needed

Impact and Programme Monitoring

· Support the Giggle Doctor Programme Manager with monitoring Trainee and Junior Giggle Doctor’s progress and keeping records of their observation notes

· Support the Giggle Doctor Programme Manager with data capture and record keeping

· Take minutes and record actions during Programme Team meetings, Theodora Foundation meetings and office team meetings from time to time

• Utilise the charity’s CRM database to keep all records up to date and effectively progress supporter development.

HR and Safeguarding

· Act as Deputy Safeguarding Lead and follow safeguarding processes for recording safeguarding incidents in the Designated Safeguarding Lead’s absence.

• Run DBS checks for artists when required using the external Ucheck platform

• Represent the charity at external functions and conferences.
• Undertake any other duties reasonably requested from Programme Manager from time to time

Role: Finance Officer

Duration: Approx. 3-4 months (September to January)

Hours: 35 per week

Hybrid Working: 2 days a week in the central London office, with more time in the office during training.

Are you passionate about making a difference? We are on the lookout for a detail-oriented and dedicated Finance Officer to join a leading charity that empowers young people and changes lives. In this key role, you will help manage and process their income, working with the CRM database Raiser’s Edge to ensure all donations are handled efficiently and accurately.

As the Finance Officer, you'll be working closely with both the Finance and Fundraising teams, ensuring seamless income reconciliation and supporting the ongoing development of a new CRM system launching in February 2025.

What You’ll Do:

• Administer and process all incoming donations, including from their website, postal, phone, and third-party platforms like JustGiving and Enthuse.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure donations are coded correctly and help prepare Gift Aid claims.
• Provide top-notch supporter care, managing donor correspondence and maintaining donor records.
• Assist with the design and maintenance of the CRM database for effective data selection and reporting.
• Support the Finance Team with income reconciliation and administrative duties.

The Charity: 

GroceryAid has been the charity for the grocery industry since 1857, offering free and confidential welfare support to over £2.6m in the industry from the first day of their employment. More than 450 of the most well-known grocery retailers and Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) brands support the charity, enabling us to help more than 70,000 people in the last twelve months. The charity raises funds through a highly respected events calendar and the D&I in Grocery Programme.

The programme is delivered and facilitated by GroceryAid, with the support of the Strategy Steering Group and three workstream steering groups, it is a programme created for the industry by the industry. In 2023 the programme provided over 12,562 learning hours across 64 D&I topics. The programme benefits its partners through:

- Tracking tangible progress annually through the D&I in Grocery Maturity Model

- Shared learning activity across monthly learning labs and cross industry Employee Resource Group (ERG) forums. Resources within The Partner Hub (programme platform) including podcasts, policies, toolkits and learning content 

- A 12-month cross-industry mentoring programme which provides equity and opportunity to historically underrepresented communities

- D&I in Grocery LIVE! unites the industry once a year, at the largest D&I event in the grocery sector

- Connects partners on different topics to share and learn from each other to accelerate their journey

Main purpose of the role: 

To support the team, working across all aspects of the programme. The role offers a unique opportunity to work with the industry’s leading brands reaching over 1.2 million employees across the UK. 

Main responsibility of the role: 

• Provide administrative and logistical support across all programme steering groups 
• Support team to deliver an excellent service to all partners
• Support across programme workstream activity

Steering groups:

• Schedule and track attendance for all steering group meetings
• Organise logistics and refreshments for face-to-face meetings

Partner support:

• Co-ordinate the annual onboarding process for new and renewing partners
• Provide support for partner check-in sessions 
• Answer queries within the programme email inbox
• Update CRM database with key contacts and information 

Workstream support:

• Work with partners and team to manage various virtual activities such as Learning lab webinars 
•  Send communications and updates to the programme calendar
• Support team to deliver face-to-face networking activity 
• Assist with workstream projects as and when required
• Support Project Manager with The Partner HUB (members, activity, responding to queries etc)
• Work with Senior Project Manager throughout the D&I in Grocery LIVE! event life cycle
• Attend D&I in Grocery LIVE! as an active member of the team

We are looking for a Mentor Services Coordinator to support our volunteer mentors in London, Surrey and Hertfordshire.

About the role

Our Mentor Services Coordinators are the key contacts for our volunteer mentors from their first enquiry about mentoring until they are matched with a young person.  The Mentor Services Coordinators conduct in depth interviews with all prospective volunteer mentors, organise training, organise DBS checks and make the process as smooth and supported as possible.

Key responsibilities:

• Providing excellent customer service to mentors, volunteers and partners using strong communication skills on the telephone, in virtual meetings, by email and sometimes in person

• Ensure all of our volunteer mentors are individually supported and fully engaged at every stage of their mentor journey

• Deliver information sessions, participate in mentor one-to-one conversations and facilitate mentor training sessions and other mentor engagement activities.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and well organised Family Engagement Coordinator to work within our Family Team. This
role will be working directly with charity beneficiaries - parents and carers of children with serious and complex health
needs. This is a diverse and interesting role that is central to the development and expansion of our WellChild Family
Tree service.

Purpose of the role:
The Family Engagement Coordinator is vital to the success of the WellChild Family Tree Network. This is a growing network
that exists to connect families across the UK caring for a child with serious and complex medical needs with each other
and with WellChild. Through its online Facebook forum, and programme of activities, events and communications, it
provides members with the opportunity to make friends, make memories and get support.

Working within the Family Team and as part of the wider Programmes team this role will report to the Family Programme
Manager and is central to the development and expansion of the WellChild Family Tree. Key to this role is taking ownership
of and delivering a well-defined WellChild Family Tree membership experience that attracts and engages families from
across the UK and includes the provision of high-quality content and regular communications.

Day One Trauma Support is the only charity supporting all major trauma patients, regardless of their type of injury. A catastrophic event can change everything. Every year, across England and Wales, there are 20,000 major trauma cases and 16,000 deaths following injury. 30% of major trauma patients acquire a physical disability, and there is a 40% increased chance of mental health difficulties following major traumatic injury.

We are looking for a Data Officer to improve the use of data at Day One Trauma Support. If you would like to be part of a team that manages data to aid strategic decision making and evaluate impact, this could be the role for you!

The Role

This role will help the charity with data management of Services to provide the best support and service for people affected by catastrophic injury. Main duties will include:

• Ensuring data is accurate, relevant and kept securely and confidentially.
• Developing expertise in the charity’s database, guiding and training others in consistent use.
• Providing insightful data analysis and regular reports to aid strategic decision-making.
• Compiling surveys to capture, analyse and review feedback followed by presenting findings.
• Utilising data collection tools to measure, evaluate and communicate the charities impact.

The Person

We are looking for someone with experience of managing databases and CRM systems. You should be able to interpret and analyse data to present findings clearly and make recommendations via reports and presentations. You will be working with confidential and sensitive data, therefore a knowledge and understanding of relevant policies, processes and compliance is compulsory.

As an Assistant Community Fundraiser, you will play an integral part in supporting the Community Fundraising team to reach their annual income target.
