The post is an important link between the Trust and the local community, facilitating fundraising across corporate and public initiatives, stakeholder and corporate giving and launch our corporate and sponsorship opportunities to local businesses as part of our fundraising plan.
Due to our expansive geography, many of our colleagues who work here are also residents, families of service users and patients, carers for their loved ones and may be service users themselves. Their wellbeing is essential. Raising funds for the Charity will include looking after and enhancing their wellbeing.
You will require experience of fundraising, bid writing and charity law and display considerable energy and enthusiasm to inspire colleagues, patients, service users, families, visitors and the local community to choose LSCft as their preferred charity in Lancashire and South Cumbria.
You will also work with local businesses, colleagues and volunteer networks to develop fundraising initiatives, activities and events. You will ensure that fundraising ideas and high profile events are in place to generate funds to desired targets in the first year of launch.
The ideal candidate will have an outgoing personality, extensive fundraising experience and proven ability to create plans, strategies and income across different platforms. You will be a keen people person, be good at motivating, influencing and encouraging charity activities and be confident in your approach and able to work with minimal supervision, taking ownership in this role as our expert in the field of fundraising.

Operational

Job summary
We’re looking for an enthusiastic Corporate Partnerships Officer to join our small but mighty Partnerships and Philanthropy fundraising team. The team is made up of seven fundraisers focusing on securing high-value gifts with big impact, both from companies and from trusts and foundations.

Support the Director of Fundraising, Marketing & Communications on the implementation of the fundraising strategy, in line with changing landscape with a core focus on corporate partnerships, trusts and foundations, company giving and general appeals;

About Us
Founded in 2012 we are a UK charity that provide support, advice and information to patients and their loved ones who are affected by cancers of the head, mouth, neck, chest, and those throat cancers caused by the Human Papillomavirus (HPV). We also campaign for universal HPV vaccination to prevent any future devastating throat cancer cases. Raising awareness of HPV and how it causes throat cancers has been and continues to be a large part of our work.
About the role
The successful applicant will work closely with the CEO, the management team, and Trustees to implement, develop and deliver a fundraising strategy that meets the charity’s challenging income targets. This post will play a vital role in helping us to deliver our range of throat cancer support programmes to patients, families, as well as to medical professionals and the scientific research sectors. - Create, manage, and deliver robust project plans for allocated events delivering on set income targets.
- Review and adapt current events in the portfolio to maximise supporter engagement, retention and income growth.
- Booking and liaising with all suppliers involved with events and building and maintaining strong relationships with them.
- Working across the charity and externally, to significantly grow both volunteer numbers and activity.
- Develop the way we speak about volunteering, our brand, and associated materials, in order to attract more volunteers with the skills we need.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Corporate Partnerships Officer to join our small but mighty Partnerships and Philanthropy fundraising team.
The team is made up of seven fundraisers focusing on securing high-value gifts with big impact, both from companies and from trusts and foundations.

At Cruse Bereavement Support, we are looking for a Trust and Foundations Manager to lead our vitally important trusts and foundations income stream. This is a key role for us, and we are looking for an experienced trusts and foundations fundraiser looking to take this work to the next level. You will line-manage a Trusts and Foundations Officer and be part of a wider Partnerships Team, which includes national corporate partnerships, external training and consultancy. You will lead on working with colleagues from across Cruse to develop innovative new approaches to funding asks from trusts and foundations. Your relationship fundraising approach will enhance our work with existing partners and win the support of new funders. Your collaborative approach to internal working relationships will allow you to produce high quality funding applications and reports to funders.
This role is a remote role, but you will be an active member of the Cruse family, in daily contact with many colleagues from all areas of Cruse for video calls, phone calls, email and instant messaging. The hours are 35 per week (but would consider 30+ hours over 5 days).

PiP's philanthropic income has doubled in the last 16 months and this role is the next investment in our Development & Engagement team to steward our funders, secure new funders to maintain income levels, and better communicate our impact.
The role has three main areas of responsibility:
