The Ukraine Humanitarian appeal raised £426 million and helped an estimated 6.9 million people in Ukraine and neighbouring countries. The Grants Manager is integral in working closely with DEC colleagues and members to build and sustain, a solid understanding of the evolving humanitarian context. The Grants Manager will maintain strong oversight of the DEC funded programme including the reporting cycle, adaptive programming and facilitate strong and relevant engagement with DEC member charities and local partners and external briefings over the duration of the response.
Key responsibilities:
Communication and Collaboration
· Key programmes point of contact regarding the DEC funded programme, responding to enquiries from member charity programmes and other related staff, facilitating timely and accurate communication.
· Maintain strong understanding of response context.
· Manage and provide timely, response briefings to internal and external audiences, key stakeholders including the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office [FCDO] and, other key stakeholders.
Analysis and Reporting
· Review, evaluate, and advise on member charity plans and reports for consistency, trends analysis and coherence of data across submitted documentation.
· Contribute to the review and analysis of plans and reports submitted by member charities in response to DEC appeals.
· Share timely and relevant information and analysis from plans and reports with DEC member charities and local partners.
· Manage external reporting requirements including preparation of stakeholder reports and infographics.
Management and Leadership
· Coordinate the team’s surge capacity to deliver points above, which may involve managing and inducting a team of external consultants and training them in the use of our knowledge management system [Box].
· Coordinate with the Programme Quality, Accountability & Learning team to ensure monitoring, learning and accountability initiatives are timely and appropriate to the response.
· Support with real-time reviews, community perception studies and other related MEAL activities.

- Proficiency in IT, especially Microsoft Office and databases such as Raiser’s Edge.

We’re so excited to be working with Acorns Children’s Hospice on their Corporate Partnership Fundraising Manager (Corporate) role. Acorns Children’s Hospice operates three hospices in the West Midlands, offering specialist palliative care and support for children and their families. This role will be responsible for engaging with local businesses to secure support for Acorns’ Walsall hospice, then manage these relationships to retain their support.
The Partnership Fundraising Manager (Corporate) will work directly with the Walsall hospice to create tailored funding proposals for prospective corporate partners. Main Purpose of Job:
We are seeking an experienced fundraiser with excellent relationship management skills to help build resilient and profitable income streams for the Somerset Cricket Foundation (SCF) and extend the reach of the charity’s profile. This will include working with existing and new corporate relationships, individuals and Trusts & Foundations.
You will develop and use stewardship tools to guide donors and partnerships through their giving journey; including cultivation plans, proposals, and reports. You will be involved in sourcing and presenting tailored information, making appropriate financial and non-financial requests.
Main Responsibilities:
- Agree an annual high-value fundraising strategy for SCF, in collaboration with the Somerset Cricket Foundation Fundraising Committee and Managing Director.

Skills:
- A degree in marketing, communications, media, or equivalent experience or qualification.

There is an exciting manager vacancy in Cancer Research UK's New Partnerships Team. This role is responsible for building high value partnerships with corporates and commercial entities to raise both income and awareness, working towards our mission of beating cancer sooner.
You will develop a pipeline of potential partners, working creatively and with passion to create compelling pitches and partner packages, with the aim to secure their commitment to a mutually beneficial partnership with us. #
You do not necessarily need previous experience working in new partnerships for a charity - we are looking for a proactive, resilient and results orientated individual who comes with a commercial background and strong track record of getting things done whilst also keeping sight of wider strategy. In return you'll get to develop your experience of working across a wide variety of sectors, partnering with different levels of stakeholders (from managers to C suite individuals), as well as having full ownership of your prospects pipeline from initial contact to securing the deal , all with the goal of beating cancer sooner.
What will I be doing?
Responsibility for managing and developing a pipeline of prospects that meet the objectives and priorities of CRUK's strategy and the Partnership Team's strategy
Responsibility for developing prospects through a sales pipeline process.
Collaborating with the Partnerships Managers to support the acquisition of new partnerships and the development of existing partnerships
Working with the Senior New Partnerships Managers to share insights on your discrete area of focus and identify opportunities for prospects within sectors, industry, and partnership types
Being responsible for the successful transition of new partnerships to the Partnership Management function
Designing bespoke, compelling partnership plans and strong proposals to meet the prospect's objectives and CRUK strategic aims, using your strong understanding of CRUK's key campaigns, sub-brands and strategic priorities
Leading pitches and application processes, working collaboratively to deliver the opportunities through a matrix way of working
Building networks and relationships within external organisations to influence decision makers and secure new opportunities

Role purpose
As Digital and Social Media Manager, you will be using digital communication channels to support the engagement of our community of supporters, partners, patients, families and staff in the work of the charity and helping realise our shared ambition with the Trust to be national leaders in the delivery of patient care and health innovation.
The Digital and Social Media Manager is part of a collaborative and creative team responsible for the development and delivery of the CW+ Communications and Marketing strategy, including on- and offline communications, PR and media, donor stewardship and marketing collateral, and events support.
Reporting to the Head of Communications and Marketing, the Digital and Social Media Manager will be proactive in shaping and managing the charity’s digital presence (including the website), with a strong focus on tracking and using data. They will inform the direction of multiple exciting strands of work by providing insight into digital trends and performance.

- Maximising the impact of the charity’s new website (launched September 2024) and ensuring that tracking and conversion metrics are optimised.

Key responsibilities and duties
- Working with the Head of Communications and Marketing to ensure effective, data-driven use of CW+ digital channels (website and social media) in support of marketing, communications and fundraising plans.
- Working with the Head of Communications and Marketing to develop the annual social media plan.
- Working closely with the Public Fundraising Manager to ensure that the charity’s fundraising activities are being effectively supported and promoted across all channels.
- Working closely with the Fundraising Team on the development, launch and management of fundraising campaigns and leading on the use of paid socials (including budget management, tracking and reporting).
- Leading on using digital tracking, analysis and insights to inform and adapt digital content and strategy as the charity’s strategic needs evolve.
- Providing expert ownership of Mailchimp (or other mailing platforms as required) and ensuring PECR/GDPR compliance.
- Strategic oversight and day-to-day management of the CW+ website and social media channels, including creating accurate, creative content and assets that conform to the CW+ style and brand guidelines.
- Recommending improvements and optimising content to increase performance.
- Being the main point of contact with external developers, designers and suppliers where necessary.
- Leading on website accessibility, updating and informing colleagues as necessary.

Key terms and benefits

About the role:
As our Head of New Partnerships, this role will play a pivotal role in the delivery of our long-term high-value partnerships strategy over the next 3-5 years.
