Now is an exciting time to join the corporate partnerships team at Blood Cancer UK. We have spent the last two years building and cultivating our pipeline and have seen exciting wins as a result of this work, raising over £5million from the insurance sector.
We have seen record breaking corporate partnerships income in the last two years and we want that growth to continue – but we know there are more opportunities than we can capitalise on with our team the size that it is. The fundraising team has ambitious targets over the next 3 – 5 years, and we won’t reach them if we’re leaving potential partnerships behind.
We’re looking for an ambitious and tenacious new business fundraiser to help us bring new partnerships to the charity, and ultimately raise more money to deliver the change we want to see for people with blood cancer.
You will be an effective fundraiser; someone who can build strong relationships, communicate effectively, and is naturally entrepreneurial. If that’s you, we’d love to hear from you.
Majority of our roles can be performed hybrid which means you will be required to attend the office once a quarter for team meetings and regular travel for donor meetings will be required, currently a lot of our donor meetings are in London.

Important details
Jangala’s office is based in London and operates a remote-first working policy. Travel to our London office will be required for mind-mapping and collaborative work at least once a week.

This is a new role giving you the opportunity and responsibility to build on our successful fundraising and extend our appeal to new donors as well as maintain our existing supporters. Overall Purpose of the Head of Research
The Philanthropy and Trusts Manager is an exciting new role at Guts UK and will be integral to delivering our new fundraising strategy, enabling us to grow our income to meet our ambitious strategic aims.

The Opportunity
Inspire are seeking a Partnerships Manager to join our team. Main Responsibilities
As one of our regionally dispersed Community Fundraiser's, you'll be joining a busy team, where you will manage relationships with our key supporters with the primary purpose of generating income across a geographical area, through community fundraising activities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering income targets across the region by building strong relationships with individuals, local companies, community groups and volunteers, in line with our community fundraising strategy. You will also be responsible for the management and support of local third-party events in your region and in providing excellent stewardship to those supporters.

Ideal Candidate
You'll be able to demonstrate a track record of meeting income targets through relationship fundraising. A proactive person, you'll be self-motivated and able to work independently with a solution focussed approach. As an experienced fundraiser, you'll be confident working towards income and expenditure targets and reporting on financial progress. It is desirable that you have managed and secured corporate partnerships and have event management knowledge, though training will be provided.

About EFA
English for Action provides free, participatory, and empowering English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) classes for migrants in London. Our classes are spaces to build community and support students to organise collectively around issues like employment and housing rights. Our work currently supports around 400 adult migrants across London. We’ve become a national centre of good practice for a radical participatory approach to ESOL, informed by the work of Paulo Freire, and we share this approach through training, research and partnerships.
Organisation: We are a staff team of 8 people supported by a larger team of volunteers and 9 trustees. EFA promotes shared leadership and collaboration and we aim for our organisational structure to reflect this. In the last 4 years we’ve transitioned away from having a CEO to an executive team to oversee operations and decision-making. As a charity, ultimate responsibility for, and control of, the organisation lies with the Board of Trustees.
Fundraising at EFA: We have one permanent fundraiser at EFA, who works two days per week on this area of work. The majority of EFA’s funding comes from charitable trusts and foundations but we are also funded directly by some of our partner institutions to provide courses for their members. We receive some local authority/EU funding as well. We raise additional funds through individual giving, corporate relationships and earned income. ActionAid UK has a hybrid working policy for many of our roles. The requirement will vary from team to team and the responsibilities of individual roles. As a minimum, all colleagues are expected to attend the office 12 days per year, plus additional time for induction, training, and “Company Connection days.” Some roles may require in-office attendance on all days and if so, these will clearly be marked as in-office roles.
