About the role
Demand for the charities’ support continues to grow at a rapid rate which presents us with an opportunity to engage more people than ever before. Joining our team in London, as Senior Corporate Partnerships Officer you will have the opportunity to work with an experienced and passionate fundraising team at an exciting time of growth.
You will be responsible for the account management of existing and incoming corporate partnerships across Help Musicians and Music Minds Matter. This includes the delivery of agreed partnership benefits, stewarding our valued corporate supporters and providing partnership reporting to encourage the renewal and growth of partnerships for the charities.
You will help with corporate pipeline development, prospect research, contact mapping, as well as providing administrative support to the Head of Corporate Partnerships, Trusts and Events.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience account managing multiple corporate partners within a charity, cultural or not-for-profit organisation. You will have excellent presentation skills and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively through written work.

The Supporter-led Fundraising (SLF) team at Alzheimer’s Research UK (ARUK) is responsible for securing income from individuals, groups and corporates, as well as driving registrations and income through third party and mass participation events; managing these relationships to maximise income.
As the Central Fundraising Officer, you will be part of our friendly and passionate Central Fundraising Team. You will lead on supporter stewardship and tiering to ensure our supporters are well supported by the Central Fundraising Team throughout their fundraising journey. Your role will include taking the lead on data processes such as the BACs process, drafting different engaging stewardship content, keep our fundraising materials up to date and lead on training sessions within the Central Fundraising Team and with other teams for sharing best practice.
You will work closely with our network of 12 home-based Regional Fundraising Officers (RFOs), as well as Sporting Team and Corporate Teams. You will be the first point of contact for the majority of our DIY supporters and will offer first-class stewardship to ensure our fundraisers feel well-supported before, during and after their fundraising plans.
You will also work very closely with the Data, Supporter Care team, Finance and other key stakeholders within ARUK to ensure SLF processes and procedures are fit for purpose and completed in a timely manner and that our supporters are delighted with the management and stewardship they receive across the teams.
Main duties and responsibilities of the role:
· Be a helpful and informed first point of contact for many supporters getting in touch with the Supporter Led Fundraising (SLF) team for the first time.
· Build first-class and long-term relationships through telephone calls and emails with our supporters to ensure they have the best fundraising experience at Alzheimer’s Research UK.
· Provide central stewardship support to a remote-based team of Regional Fundraising Officers (RFOs) to ensure effective delivery of the SLF strategy and budget.
· Support the Sporting Events Team with recruitment and stewardship of events.
· Lead on supporter stewardship journey by drafting various engaging stewardship materials, reviewing our fundraising resources and lead on training sessions for other teams for best practices.
· Support and assist in the monthly reconciliation of income coding for the wider SLF teams.
· Support the development of new procedures and embedding the new CRM.
· Work with our Corporate Teams to effectively steward our partner companies.
· Ensure consistent cross-working to identify potential opportunities in current and prospective supporters for long lasting relationships across all teams.
· Attend a variety of events to engage with and cheer on supporters including golf days, regional events and sporting events.
Administrative Support
· Process material requests from fundraising supporters, offering appropriate support while considering charity cost.
· Provide further support to the RFOs where necessary including mass printing, franking, t-shirt printing, booking couriers and personalising thank you letters and certificates.
· Provide additional support on Ad Hoc campaigns such as Facebook challenges, virtual fundraising challenges and other national corporate campaigns.
· Ensure clear, consistent and up to date fundraising data management including adding new contacts to the fundraising database, accurately recording and maintaining supporter details, monitoring and tracking supporter income and making sure supporters are appropriately thanked in a timely manner.
· Lead on and be responsible for specific fundraising processes e.g. responsible for coding and reconciling all SLF BACs payments and coding Paypal donations. Reviewing, updating and training others on these processes when necessary.
· Ensure all communications are in line with GDPR policies.
· Become the organised Central coordinator for SLF-wide activities and procedures e.g contactless machines.
Spotting Potential
· As the central point of contact for the SLF team, you will spot opportunities to build networks among our fundraising community and flag these to the relevant members of the team.
· Identify and research potential community group and business partnerships for SLF teams.
· Use data reports to spot fundraising trends and identify opportunities, making a judgement on where to flag to the relevant teams to ensure accurate income coding and stewardship.
· Help spot opportunities and contact supporters as part of our re-engagement process to encourage repeat fundraising.
· Effectively communicate ARUK’s Gifts In Will messages to supporters where appropriate.
Collaboration
· Become involved in a Fundraising Resources Review Project Group, adding creative insight and keeping our fundraising resources updated for supporters.
· Work closely with the Corporate and Philanthropy team to lead on income processes such as CAFAmerica, to ensure appropriate donation restrictions are implemented.
· Work closely with other teams to locate missing income and ensuring correct coding is implemented to make certain of accurate reporting.
· Work with our Supporters and Families Team by sharing fundraiser stories to maximise potential publicity.
· Work closely with the Communications team to maximise potential publicity and acknowledgement for fundraising supporters and their events, including content for the charity’s social media channels.
· Be the main SLF contact for the Supporter Care team, updating them on fundraising products and events to ensure they have all the information they need to support first contact.

Trust & Corporate Fundraising Officer
Re-engage has just launched a new five-year strategy which will have growth at its heart. We’re looking for an exceptional person to join our team as Trust and Corporate Fundraising Officer and be a vital part of this exciting phase of our development.
This is a new role within a growing fundraising team which is aiming to significantly grow income to achieve our growth strategy. Reporting to the Trust Fundraising Manager, you will work across both the Trust and Corporate fundraising teams to raise money from smaller trusts and companies and help them understand the lifechanging difference they make.
Key responsibilities
Charitable Trusts (approx. 3 days per week)
- Identify and research potential trust supporters, liaising with the Senior Trust Officer and Trust Manager on new funding opportunities.
- Prepare and submit compelling, well researched proposals to trusts and foundations, using existing cases for support
- Produce high quality, professional funder reports that meet the grant terms and conditions.
- Maintain a clear overview of funder reporting needs and funder targets for the team
Corporate Fundraising (approx. 2 days per week)

About the role:
We are looking for a talented and ambitious individual to generate income for the Olive Tree Cancer Support Group through the development and implementation of a Trust & Foundations strategy. This will involve the planning and writing of funding bids, reporting on previous and new grants, liaising with funders and researching new funding opportunities to generate a significant level of income to agreed targets.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and skilled Trust and Foundations fundraiser who is confident and capable in taking the lead on this key strand of our fundraising stream. You will be managed by the Centre Manager and supported by the Trustees and will have autonomy on leading trusts and grants applications and related work.
About you:
The ideal candidate will bring experience of successfully submitting and winning bids from Trusts and Foundations and a good understanding of fundraising targets. You will be results-orientated, managing our Trusts and Statutory fundraising pipeline, and helping to develop our statutory income.
You will build excellent working relationships with staff at both of our centres, and on occasion work from our Horsham Site and attend some fundraising events.
You may also be required to assist in day-to-day operations at the Centre, such as answering the phones, booking appointments and working with vulnerable service users. As we are a small team, a team-player attitude is a must, as well as a positive and can-do approach.
The flexibility and willingness to work several evenings and weekend days throughout the year and ability to travel independently is essential for this role.

Role Summary
The Communications and Fundraising Manager is a critical role within the organisation, working collaboratively with colleagues across Together Women to increase awareness of our work, grow our external communications presence, increase digital engagement and increase public fundraising.

The focus of this role is to grow income from our individual giving programmes across a variety of activities, including general donations, online donations, regular giving, merchandise, in memory giving and legacies.
This will involve managing a small team to plan and deliver a variety of inspiring appeals and campaigns, ensuring they are effective in driving engagement and generating support from both existing and new supporters.
You will ensure all our supporters receive excellent care and stewardship and will collaborate with colleagues in the fundraising team to secure high-value gifts and legacies. You will also support our corporate fundraising initiatives and campaigns and get involved in volunteering events.
As a senior member of the fundraising team, you’ll help to set and deliver the Fundraising and Marketing Strategy, providing leadership, vision and direction for the Fundraising team.
About you
We’re looking for a self-motivated and creative fundraiser with experience in various fundraising areas and a record of meeting income targets.
You will have excellent people skills and be great at understanding our supporters and building long-lasting connections with them. You will also have strong written skills, with lots of experience of creating compelling and engaging communications that inspire and engage new and existing donors to support our work.
A key part of the role will be to manage and maintain our database (we use Raisers Edge) and other platforms to help personalise supporter communications – so you’ll need experience of using a CRM/data management system and knowledge of targeting, segmentation and data analysis.

Role Overview
This role is responsible for achieving fundraising targets, managing the community fundraising team and freelance grant writer(s), and leading all marketing initiatives, including social media management.
Reporting to the CEO, this role is ideal for someone with a strong background in fundraising, marketing, and team management who is passionate about making a difference.
Key Responsibilities
Fundraising
- Develop and implement a strategic fundraising plan to meet financial targets.
- Identify and develop new funding opportunities, including corporate sponsorships, business network, regular giving, legacies and fundraising campaigns.
- Support and manage the community fundraising team to maximise income from individual giving, sponsored events, and community-led initiatives.
- Oversee and work closely with the freelance grant writer(s) to ensure timely and high-quality funding applications.
- Maintain and develop relationships with funders, donors, and key stakeholders, providing impact reports and updates. Develop and deliver innovative fundraising events and campaigns.
- Ensure compliance with fundraising regulations and best practices.
Marketing and Communications
- Develop and implement an effective marketing strategy to enhance awareness, engagement, uptake of services and fundraising.
- Oversee all communications, ensuring a consistent and compelling message aligned with the charity’s vision.
- Work with Trustees and the Senior Management Team to significantly build our brand.
- Manage the social media team, ensuring engaging, timely, and impactful content across platforms.
- Oversee content creation for digital and print marketing materials, newsletters, press releases, and the website.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.
- Strengthen relationships with media outlets and influencers to increase the charity’s profile.
Team and Budget Management
- Lead and support the community fundraising team, the marketing and communications team and freelance grant writer(s), ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
- Monitor budgets related to fundraising and marketing activities, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation and achieving ROI targets.
- Report on fundraising and marketing performance, providing regular updates to senior management and trustees.
Person Specification
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in fundraising, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding income targets.
- Experience in marketing, communications, or public relations, ideally within the charity sector.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience managing teams and external contractors.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage a range of audiences.
- Strategic thinking, with the ability to identify and capitalise on fundraising and marketing opportunities.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Knowledge of SEO optimisation, social media management and digital marketing strategies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM and fundraising platforms.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
- Experience in grant writing and securing funding from trusts and foundations.
- Knowledge of Google Ads and analytics.
- Familiarity of using Sales Force.
- Knowledge of fundraising regulations and best practices.
- Experience working with volunteers and community groups.
- A personal connection to or experience within the Down syndrome or wider disability community.
Additional Information
- This is a remote role, but you will need to sometimes travel to attend events and meetings.
- Some evening and weekend work may be required to support fundraising events and campaigns
