We are looking for someone who would enjoy the challenge of leading a team of staff who have lived experience of many of the issues facing children and young people on the estates of Eltham.

Superkidz Community Trust was founded in 2001 and over the years, has provided children and young people with a safe space to play and to interact with adults who have the time to listen to them. We have developed a model of engagement, Transform Group and Individual Mentoring (TGIM), that puts interaction at the heart – not simply providing activities but ensuring that there are sufficient adults around to engage the young person in conversation and the chance to express worries, self-doubt and concerns.

All our workers are drawn from the local community and many have been beneficiaries of Superkidz themselves. Most have lived experience of the issues facing our young people.

Following the retirement of our founder and Manager, Nick Russell, the Trustees are looking for a leader who will take the charity forward, support staff and help them to feel secure and confident in their abilities, while setting high standards in the workplace.

Job Description

Key accountabilities:

The Manager will:

· Be an integral member of the team delivering Superkidz day to day activities and groups.

· Following consultation with staff service users and the Board prepare a strategy, financial and operational plan that best delivers impact in line with the TGIM theory of change. This should include locations, staffing, activities, income generation and should be fully costed.

· Lead the organisation in the implementation and further development of this strategy in consultation with the Board.

· Proactively use quality and impact information and strategic analysis to inform the development of new programmes of work that improve the lives of beneficiaries.

· Ensure that systems and processes are in place to manage, monitor and report on all compliance issues including; safeguarding, health and safety, and risk.

· Take accountability for financial decisions that protect the charity’s funds, ensuring the charity is sustainable and fulfils the requirements of the relevant regulatory bodies.

· Ensure that there is an appropriate funding strategy in place to secure the greatest possible diversity of income, through commissions, grants, donations, fundraising and social enterprise trading, and lead on the delivery of subsequent plans.

· Lead on the effective management of all aspects of Superkidz services and staff team, ensuring that staffing systems and procedures are up to date, regularly reviewed, and fulfil legal requirements.

· Oversee and lead on the development of staff to ensure that all teams and individuals have the opportunity for development and can work at the highest level of performance. Mentor and cultivate the existing skills of staff, providing them with a platform to grow.

· Ensure that all Superkidz services are delivered in line with all external and internal quality standards and in line with commissioners/funders requirements.

· Develop and lead on a marketing and PR strategy that promotes Superkidz, raises awareness, and increases client and funder engagement.

· Develop and lead on an effective communications strategy, both internal and external.

· Lead on the strategy to assess and develop opportunities for collaborations, alliances, and partnerships that deliver increased impact and lead to financial sustainability.

· With the Fundraising Liaison Manager, demonstrate leadership in key strategic relationships with public bodies, funders, corporate sponsors and other external stakeholders, through a range of communications, networks and events.

· Ensure full, timely, accurate and effective communication with the Board of Trustees and any sub-committees of the Board.

· Ensure that all decisions made in the course of the role are made according to current legislation and in line with all instruments of governance.

Specifically, the postholder will be responsible for the following:

Strategy, planning and reporting

• Produce annual fundraising plans and budgets for major donors, trust, corporate and regular givers to engage supporters and develop relationships;
• Work with the Head of Communications & Giving to develop and deliver long-term high value fundraising strategies;
• Manage budgets for fundraising activities and events;
• Report against monthly, quarterly and annual targets, identifying variances and strategies to address where needed;
• Lead on the set up of systems and processes to support effective and efficient fundraising and relationship management;
• Keep up to date with fundraising best practice, policy and relevant legislation and ensure these are reflected in Afghanaid’s approaches;
• Produce pipelines, reports and analysis of major donor, trust, corporate and regular giver fundraising.

Trust, Major Donor, Corporate and Regular Giver Fundraising

• Identify and secure new trust and corporate funding relationships through database analysis, desk research, networking, formal presentations, and producing concept notes or proposals;
• Retain and maximise relationships with existing trust and corporate portfolio through designing and delivering bespoke annual engagement strategies, including exclusive and personalised reports, briefings, calls and proposals;
• Promote cross-department collaboration on trust and corporate fundraising to maximise both unrestricted and restricted fundraising, leading meetings, identifying synergies, and integrating pipelines and prospecting mechanisms;
• Identify and secure new major donors and regular givers, conceptualising and running acquisition campaigns alongside the HC&G;
• Identify potential major donors and high value regular givers within Afghanaid’s donor portfolio and implement plans to develop these relationships;
• Manage and maximise relationships with existing major donors and high value regular givers through designing and delivering annual engagement strategies, including reports, calls and proposals;
• Collaborate with colleagues to produce content for engaging monthly email newsletters for high value portfolio;
• Design and manage an annual campaign to upgrade existing regular givers;
• Secure match funding from key trust, corporate and major donors to maximise the success of events and appeals;
• Mobilise Board of Trustees and Directors to support with stewardship of high value donor relationships;
• Organise the annual high value donor dinner, compiling the invitee list, managing RSVPs and organising other logistics;
• Coordinate and attend other events and external fora, representing Afghanaid, networking and pursuing opportunities;
• Manage external platforms related to high value giving including Benevity, Global Giving and Myriad US, updating where appropriate in alignment with campaigns and appeals and actively identifying ways to maximise their use and join new platforms where appropriate;
• Work with colleagues to identify and pursue opportunities for gifts-in-kind or alternative high-value partnerships.

Data and administration

• Ensure all phone calls, meetings, emails and other engagement with trusts, corporates, major donors and high value regular givers are logged on Salesforce, ensuring records are clean;
• Work with the Database and Insights Analyst to conceptualise and implement key CRM processes that promote efficiency, accuracy and maximise the use of automations;
• Work with the Database and Insights Analyst and other C&G colleagues to ensure all donations from these donation streams are recorded and reconciled accurately on the database;
• Ensure Gift Aid declarations are sought from all eligible donors and appropriately filed;
• Liaise with colleagues to ensure funding contract requirements are adhered to;
• Monitor the Supporter Care email address to ensure all donors are receiving the best possible experience;
• Undertake any other duties as and when required by the line manager and/or overview manager.

We are embarking on a large-scale project to expand and enhance the facilities and services of Living Potential Care Farm. We urgently seek an experienced and dynamic Fundraiser to lead our fundraising efforts, ensuring the successful realization of this transformative initiative.

Role Summary:

The Fundraiser will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive fundraising strategy to support the expansion project. This includes identifying and securing funding from diverse sources such as grants, corporate sponsorships, individual donations, foundations, and lotteries. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in fundraising for large projects, excellent communication skills, and a strong network within the philanthropic community. Due to the urgency of this project, the candidate must be able to start immediately and hit the ground running.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement a detailed fundraising plan for the project.

Location:

The role is based in Sicklinghall, Wetherby, with some flexibility for remote working. Occasional travel may be required for donor meetings and events. Tender is an arts charity working with children and young people to prevent domestic abuse and sexual violence through creative projects. Our programmes are safe, enjoyable, age-appropriate spaces where young people can engage with sensitive topics and “rehearse” for real-life scenarios. Participants are encouraged to be both consumers and producers of learning through script-work, role-play and creative media such as films and art. We now have a need for an Officer to work closely with the Development Director and CEO in developing our corporate income stream, building on strong, established corporate partnerships and developing new ones, to generate both earned income and corporate donations. You will also work closely with our Corporate Advisory Board, which includes a diverse, ambitious group of professionals who are supporting us to maximise our corporate income stream. The main purposes of the Development Officer role are:

• Working with the Development team to collectively achieve annual fundraising targets exceeding £2m per year

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Corporate Partnerships Officer to join our small but mighty Partnerships and Philanthropy fundraising team. 

The team is made up of seven fundraisers focusing on securing high-value gifts with big impact, both from companies and from trusts and foundations.

Your portfolio may include large Charity-of-the-Year collaborations, nationwide campaign-based partnerships, multi-year partnerships with pharmaceutical companies and sponsorship and Cause Related Marketing (CRM) opportunities.

Project Budgeting

• Monitor and manage the budget related to report production and promotion.

Promotion and Distribution

• Have ownership of the promotion and distribution of content and its tracking, so that we can learn what works and continuously improve.
• Develop and provide copy for social media posts, ensuring effective promotion of reports.
• Build and manage report landing pages on the website, incorporating UTM parameters.
• Create press release landing pages on the website and manage related media plans.
• Assist in devising and executing media plans for report launches.

Media relations

• Developing media relations strategy that includes National, Regional and Trade publications.
• Draft and pitch press releases about Be the Business’ work.

Publications

• Lead the calendar of report publications for Be the Business, in coordination with the other parts of the organisation.

• Lead on drafting speeches, op-eds, and commentary for the CEO including management of social media output.
• Produce and manage LinkedIn content and engagement.
• Develop and agree a strategy for raising CEO profile.

Stakeholder engagement

Your experience in relationship development and management will help with developing new schools as well as supporting existing school relationships. Key Responsibilities

• Research and compile funding applications; develop compelling cases for support.

• Build and maintain relationships with key funding bodies; stay updated with the funding climate.

Required Experience and Qualifications

•  Comprehensive understanding of the funding bid process from research to compliance.

•  Proven experience generating revenue from diverse sources and achieving fundraising targets.

• Demonstrated success securing grants ranging from £5,000 to £500,000.

• Knowledge and experience in the charity and non-profit sector.

• Understanding and compliance with fundraising regulations.

PURPOSE OF THE POST/RESPONSIBILITIES

Caudwell Children is a national charity which works to change the lives of disabled and autistic children; change society’s understanding and acceptance of disability; and change public perceptions of the important role that charity plays in society.

Based from the award-winning Caudwell International Children’s Centre in Staffordshire, we seek an experienced relationship manager with the ability to identify opportunities and develop relationships to raise funds which support the charity’s expanding service delivery.

Responsible for the ownership and development of sponsorship and associated donor relationships, this role will play a pivotal part in helping to grow the charity’s fundraising income and helping to change the lives of autistic and disabled children across the UK and beyond.

The successful candidate will join a growing team of enthusiastic fundraising professionals aimed at improving the donor experience and growing the charity’s fundraising income.

The role will be part of the Community Fundraising strand and will be responsible for sponsorship income lines including, but not limited to:

• Event Sponsorship
• Service Sponsorship
• Facilities Sponsorship
• Activity Sponsorship

Through the identification of individuals, businesses and brands which align to the charity’s activities the successful candidate will be required to develop the sponsorship offer, cultivate and secure partnerships, then manage the delivery/reporting of agreed deliverables. 

Success will be supported and monitored by the Director of Corporate Fundraising against KPI’s including lead generation, conversion rates and income growth.

Relationship development will be documented and reported using the charity’s dedicated CRM system (currently Raiser’s Edge).

Magic Breakfast is a registered charity providing healthy breakfasts to children and young people in the UK who arrive at school too hungry to learn, and expert support to their schools. JOB PURPOSE

We are seeking an innovative Project Manager who is looking for an exciting opportunity to play an instrumental part in the planning and delivery of Magic Breakfast’s technology and data transformation. In this multi-faceted position, you’ll lead the development and implementation of the organisation’s project management strategy and standards, while also championing the ongoing delivery of data-focused technology and transformation projects. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Leadership:

• Develop and implement the organisation's project management strategy and methodology

• Lead on business process mapping and improvement across the organisation

Team Leadership:

• Establish and enforce project management standards and best practice ensuring project implementation takes a people-centred approach including training, internal communications, and changes to policies and procedures

• Lead and mentor any project managers, providing coaching and development opportunities

Project Management:

• Lead and manage technology and transformation projects across the organisation
