A key member of the Senior Finance team, coordinating the GMT finance function. The role ensures that financial budgets, forecasts and management accounts support UBSA in achieving its objectives and contributes to the implementation of finance and related systems and processes that are relevant, effective and efficient to serve UBSA. The job location is UK-based, remote working with a requirement to visit Swindon Hub, at least once a fortnight and as required for specific projects.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to join Reprieve’s dynamic Development Team to secure vital funding to power our high-impact human rights work. Working across both Reprieve and Reprieve US, you will make a real impact by focusing on Major Donors, corporate partnerships, and events. With proven fundraising experience, you will bring expertise in at least one of these fundraising disciplines. 

Working closely with the Head of Development, you will play a key role in delivering our Major Donor programmes across the UK and US. This includes coordinating stewardship activities for Major Donors and high-profile supporters, as well as assisting in the planning and execution of an exciting events programme – including a high-end art auction planned for the autumn. 

With support from the Head of Development and the Deputy Director, Legal & Governance, you will also contribute to securing new corporate partnerships, and take the lead in preparing accurate and compelling applications, reports, and communications for corporate partners and Trusts & Foundations.

Length and Salary

This is a full-time role, on a one-year fixed term contract, with the possibility to extend, subject to funding. The annual salary is £42,193 per annum, less any required deductions for income tax and national insurance. 

This role is based in Reprieve’s London office. Reprieve operates a hybrid working model and we require staff to work two days per week from the London office and the rest of the week from home. Applicants must have the current right to work in the UK, which will be checked prior to interview.

Your presence is important during core office hours, whether remotely or in the office. You will also be available outside of office hours in the event of an emergency, for example case developments that require urgent action. This is a role that may require travel and work outside of core office hours from time to time.

This role will be prison based. Essential criteria

• 4+ years’ experience working in digital marketing, with proven experience of developing strategies and campaigns that deliver results against goals

• Experience of using digital platforms to build and send mass emails, and comfortable managing email lists

Salary and benefits package

Starting salary: £37,620 (outside of London, with a £3k annual travel bursary)/£42,135 (inside London)

The Production Officer will play a crucial role in managing workflow into the Creative, Digital and Comms teams, and coordinating creative projects.

They will be the ultimate super user of our production management tool, Hive. They will set up projects on the system, ensure the smooth running of the system day-to-day, and help trouble shoot any issues that arise. The role will also help ensure that users internally are trained and confident in using the platform.

The Production Officer will also coordinate creative projects, to ensure they are delivered smoothly and on time, as well as supporting with the management of our content and photography library.

Main duties and responsibilities of the role:

· Support with the day-to-day management of the production tool, Hive. This will include setting up projects, ensuring teams are assigned, keeping the platform up-to-date, and carrying out other administrative tasks crucial for the smooth running of Hive.

· Liaise with Hive to troubleshoot any issues and stay up to date with new features on the platform.

· Be a Hive super champion across the organisation, delivering Hive inductions for new starters.

· Build and maintain strong relationships across the organisation, supporting teams to brief in work to Brand, Comms and Digital.

· Support the Creative team with the production of projects, including setting timelines, managing workflow and coordinating sign-off.

· Supporting with the management of the content and photography library, ensuring that photographs are correctly uploaded and tagged, with correct consent and removed from the system on the expiry date.

· Carry out additional directorate-wide responsibilities to support the smooth running of the directorate, for example, support with workshops and planning days.

 

What we are looking for:

· Experience of using a production management tool in a creative or communications environment.

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Capital Development Manager to play a crucial role in reinstating the unique man-made waterfalls in a Grade II* listed park. Supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, this person will demonstrate strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills to guide a team of expert consultants.

The Parks Team a passionate group of professionals, who work together to maintain and improve Wandsworth Council’s parks, commons, playgrounds, allotments and other greenspaces. We are keen to recognise, value, manage and enhance the biodiversity and plant heritage of our landscapes and contribute to a healthy planet and the wellbeing of our communities.

Main Duties/Responsibilities: 

This exciting role will lead on developing designs and work plans suitable for planning permission and an application for delivery phase funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund. Responsibilities include;

• Subcontractor coordination: Lead in the onboarding and management of a Landscape Architect to develop existing condition surveys and recommendations to RIBA Stage 3, ensuring that accessibility is considered throughout.
• Oversight of trials and structural surveys: Ensure low carbon mortar trials, asbestos investigation, gunnite removal tests, and hydrology investigations can be completed by contractors.
• Management of Environmental Impact Assessments: To understand risks to existing habitats and ecosystem services, and develop a baseline understanding of species.
• Renewable Energy Initiatives: Ensure that Landscape Architects work alongside the appointed Community Energy Organisation to integrate renewable energy solutions into final designs.
• Public Consultations: Support in the preparation, delivery, and analysis of public consultations.
• Planning Permission & Compliance: Oversee the preparation and submission of planning permission documents, including those related to energy infrastructure, Listed Building Consent, and new signage installations.
• Documentation: Contribute to quarterly reporting, and ensure detailed method statements, project briefs, risk assessments and other documents required by the National Lottery Heritage Fund are developed.
• Problem-Solving: Identify and implement workable solutions to challenges as they arise during project execution.
• Project management: In addition to conducting regular site inspections and audits to monitor progress and compliance, manage budgets, quality, and timelines, and ensure project delivery aligns with health and safety requirements throughout.

Required Skills, Experience and Attitude: 

• Heritage or listed building Project Management expertise: Proven experience in managing complex projects of >£250k on time, and within budget, including procurement, oversight of feasibility studies, and coordinating multiple stakeholders. Demonstrable knowledge of procurement legislation, supplier and contract management.
• Landscape Architecture Management: Experience working with landscape architects to translate feasibility study findings and consultation feedback into actionable design plans.
• Renewable Energy Awareness: Understanding of renewable energy initiatives, particularly in the context of heritage sites, with the ability to support feasibility studies and integrate recommendations into project plans.
