Responsibilities and Person Specification:
This role at Independent Age is a brilliant opportunity to work on our grant funding programmes, involving support of grant management, applications, assessments, and funding administration. The postholder will foster positive connections with funded organisations, service partners and individual grant holders, contribute to the review and analysis of grant and partnership reporting and evaluations, and help communicate the impact of grants working with multiple stakeholders. You will support with creating value-adding opportunities for grantees, from organising engaging training to hosting networking events.
A strong understanding of grant making and experience in supporting partnerships, a project, or programme of work, your collaborative approach, outstanding interpersonal skills, and commitment to customer service will be important for this role. You should also have excellent administrative and organisational skills, a keen eye for detail and be experienced in data management.

Role Description:
Architects play a crucial role in our society, as they design the buildings and environments where we live and work. The Architects Registration Board (ARB) is the professional regulator of architects. The Policy and Communications Department is excited to welcome a multiskilled Communications Officer. This is a varied role, and the successful candidate will be developing content such as press releases, website text, and reports. You will need to be highly organised and able to coordinate and ensure the success of reports, launches, consultations, events and more.
In this role you will need experience in handling an organisation’s interface with the media, including drafting press releases and proactively securing coverage, monitoring coverage, and responding to press queries.

You will complete and update records of interactions with tenants on the internal database and input data accurately onto monitoring spreadsheets.

About the Role

HR Officer
We are looking for a HR Officer to join the team supporting the HR function, in this part-time, hybrid working role.
This role could also be full-time incorporating the operations support function, which at the moment is as separate standalone part-time role.
Position: HR Officer
Location: Bristol/Hybrid
Hours: 22.5 hours per week (0.6 FTE) (22.5 hours split between Monday – Friday) or full time hours for the HR and Operations Officer role combined
Salary: £32,000 pro rata (£19,200 actual)
Contract: Permanent

The Role
As HR Officer you will provide support and specialist HR knowledge to all of the operational functions. This includes supporting the Finance Manager and other members of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) on the delivery of various projects, maintaining employee records, and advising on compliance with UK Employment and Health and Safety Laws.
Main areas of responsibility include:
- Maintain up to date employee records
- Support health and safety compliance and training
- Support and coordinate staff training
- Training new staff on systems and day-to-day procedures
- Day-to-day management of the HR management system, BrightHR
- Assist in the preparation of monthly payroll instruction for accountants
- Working closely with the Finance Manager to ensure operational expense is accurately reported and logged
- Recruitment and induction of new staff and staff exits
- Assist with compliance of legal policy frameworks related to employment and health and safety
- Provide HR guidance and support to employees on employee relations and workplace policies
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of HR practices and procedures
We are advertising this as a part-time permanent role but would welcome applications for this post and the Operations Administrator post as a full-time position, HR and Operations Officer, £29,000 annual salary 1.0 FTE.
About You
With experience in a HR role OR equivalent experience in a role with evidence of transferable skills, you will have experience of overseeing administrative systems and the ability to manage a varied and busy workload.
With excellent organisational skills and time management, you will have knowledge and understanding of key HR functions and UK Employment Law.

Job Purpose:
To plan and deliver engagement and research for Healthwatch Wakefield’s core and project work. To understand the experiences and concerns of people using health and social care services in Wakefield and represent this feedback to service providers and commissioners. Engagement:

- Support the Healthwatch Wakefield Research and Engagement Project Officer to analyse data to produce a range of high-quality research outputs, including reports and presentations for various audiences.

Crewe Town Council is recruiting a Development Officer for the Crewe Heritage Centre to help deliver ambitious plans!
We are at the beginning of a major capital redevelopment project to transform the site of the original Crewe Works. Our plans will tell Crewe’s story, as one of the most successful railway towns in the world, producing over 8,000 locomotives. It will also widen these stories to explore Crewe as a Model Company Town, its social ideals and the role Crewe people have played in the nation’s development.
Working with Crewe Town Council officers and the Crewe Heritage Trust’s passionate volunteers, this role will be critical in making our plans a reality. We are looking for someone with relevant experience and successes to help us shape our project and long term development. You will use your knowledge and skills to build compelling and inspiring cases for investment and giving. You will use these stories to grow income through streams such as membership, donations, sponsorship, philanthropy, legacies and events. You will use your experience to inform strategies and apply for grant funding to help deliver the redevelopment. You will work with external funders and strategic partners to advocate for the site development.

Data Officers are responsible for ensuring the quality of Helpline data through a data cleaning regime, maintaining adherence to published data standards, producing regular statistical publications, producing data for ad-hoc requests and reports, and supporting the ongoing development of the Helpline’s Salesforce instance. Data Officers participate in the training of new starters and the Helpline team around the data model and data standards.
