About the role
We are seeking an Impact and Evaluation Senior Officer, working with the Impact and Evaluation Manager, Director of Partnerships and Federation Development and with federation members.The role will be central to the delivery of strategic commitment to work together to record, study, continuously improve and broadcast our collective impact.
It’s an exciting time for the Emmaus Federation as we roll out a new In-Form (salesforce) CRM system and interlinked Monitoring Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Framework.
The role will play a crucial part in implementing, gathering feedback and developing new systems and tools to be utilised by Emmaus communities.
The role will be varied in nature, one day might involve conducting interviews with people experiencing homelessness, then next providing support to a member of staff to improve a communities MEL practice, the following day might involve analysing a data set and writing a briefing paper.
Who are we looking for?
The Impact and Evaluation Senior Officer will play a key role in supporting the Emmaus federation to understand and demonstrates the impact of our work.
The ideal candidate will have strong theoretical and practical evaluation skills coupled with the people skills to make this work accessible to a range of stakeholders.
They will need to be comfortable working as part of a remote team and able to travel to Emmaus communities across the UK to work with staff and companions.

Purpose of the role
The purpose of this role is to lead our finance and operations functions and support the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to implement management systems to efficiently run the business and achieve strategic objectives agreed by Global Black Thrive Board of Directors. This includes governance, finance, human resources, IT, legal, health and safety, and facilities management.
This role is strategic as well as multi-faceted and hands-on and will work collaboratively as part of Global Black Thrive’s Senior Leadership Team to

Develop robust approaches to finance and operations and provide practical support for Black Thrive teams to manage their programmes and projects; and

Duties and responsibilities
- Support the CEO to manage the organisation and ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including finance, HR, health and safety, data protection, and deadlines for annual returns to Companies House, the Office of the Regulator of Community Interest Companies, and HMRC.
- Put in place governance and management systems to support the efficient operation of the business, and the achievement of strategic objectives and milestones agreed by the Global Black Thrive Board of Directors.
- Support in the development of Black Thrive’s internal Learning and development infrastructure, particularly with the Learning Week.
- Lead on strategic reviews of organisational policies and procedures and work with the CEO and colleagues to review, update and operationalise policies and procedures.
- Line manage Finance Officer and lead finance functions, including working with managers to prepare and monitor budgets, ensuring that there are appropriate financial controls and operational arrangements in place (including for outgoing and incoming invoices and grants), liaising with external accounting and payroll providers and training staff as required.
- Line mange the HR and Admin Manager and support with updating policies, rolling out strategic changes and communicating these companywide.
- Provide timely and accurate strategic financial management information to enable the Board of Directors, CEO and managers to have effective oversight and make strategic short-term and long-term decisions.
- Work with others in the organisation and support the Fundraising Strategy. This will also include strategies for creating our own independent funds that are not linked to an external funder.
- Support the CEO to fulfil their role as Designated Lead Officer for safeguarding, including updating the safeguarding policy, ensuring that it is given effect and maintaining a robust system of Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks and training for staff, associates, consultants and volunteers.
- Ensure the provision of effective day-to-day administration of HR functions, including induction, training, learning week organisation and appraisal systems
- Ensure effective management of premises, facilities, and equipment, including maintenance of an asset register.
- Stay up to date with trends and best practices in governance, finance and operations relevant to Global Black Thrive’s mission.

About the role
We are looking for a Driver and Admin Assistant who will be responsible for transporting office staff, visiting Sightsavers personnel, and consultants as needed. The Driver will also ensure the maintenance and safety of all office vehicles. Additionally, the Driver will perform clerical duties to support the efficient operation of the office.
Responsibilities
- Drive safely within the laws of Benin at all times and with respect for other road users and pedestrians.
- Pick up Sightsavers staff to and from the airport where this service is not outsourced.
- Check fuel, oil, and water daily and fill up as necessary.
- Keep vehicles in a clean condition inside and outside.
- Undertake routine maintenance of vehicles, including simple repairs.
- Ensure vehicles are regularly serviced and advise the Finance & Administrative Assistant when servicing is required and/or when defects/problems arise.
- Make sure all vehicles have reflectors, fire extinguishers, first aid boxes, etc. First aid boxes for the vehicles must be checked regularly to ensure that items used are promptly replenished.
- Keep a maintenance record of vehicles
- Maintain liaison with officials of immigration and embassies for staff entry visas and renewal of passports and work permits.
- Assist in picking up invoices for procuring logistics.
- Perform other duties as required.

Job Purpose and Key Responsibilities
The Senior Programme Development Specialist will work on complex and major bids, often on multimillion consortia, commercial contracts and multi-country partnerships, and will be expected to take a high degree of responsibility for developing successful bids including negotiations with internal and external partners.

Overview of Role:
As Human Resources Advisor you will be joining a small, friendly and supportive HR team providing advice and support to managers and staff across the full range of employee life-cycle activities. ABOUT THE ROLE
The Community Education Officer plays an important role in both collaborating with communities to take part in shared learning and disseminating findings to wider audiences throughout the project, informing how it develops and boosting its impact. You will work in partnership with individuals and their communities, under the supervision of the Senior Project Manager as part of the education and advocacy programme. This will include cooperative identification of changes to the food system in Knowsley in the last century, engaging project participants in discussing those changes and raising awareness to wider audiences, supporting the project to achieve its aim of creating a shared understanding and celebrating Knowsley’s heritage and influencing strategies to shape the future of the borough, through sustained, quality engagement. KCLSU is looking for a Student Voice Coordinator work within the Student Voice team to coordinate the development and delivery of representation practices, and embed these processes across KCLSU’s Community Engagement Department and our student voice partnership work with King’s College London. This will be focused on Student Futures, a large-scale transformation portfolio King’s College London is undertaking.
Student Futures aims to improve student experiences in key areas across the next three years. Lepra is dedicated to addressing leprosy and lymphatic filariasis (LF) and their consequences through direct support, advocacy, and the promotion of inclusive communities. We work in Bangladesh and in India, through our sister organisation, LEPRA Society. We work in partnership with people affected by leprosy and LF to improve detection, ensure access to treatment and care, and promote inclusion and wellbeing. We have just finalised our new Global Strategy for 2024-30, which will guide us in our efforts to accelerate progress towards global targets for leprosy and LF, and towards our vision of a world free from leprosy and LF.
Job Context
Our new Global Strategy introduces some new approaches and priorities to our work, including: our first ever global Theory of Change (ToC), the most detailed Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) approach ever, and a sub-strategy dedicated to research, innovation and technology: the Global Research, Innovation and Technology Strategy (GRITS). We are seeking an enthusiastic self-starter with relevant technical experience to fill the role of Senior AV Technician.
Senior AV Technician
Location: Based in Kensington, London.
Salary range: £41,645 - £44,285 per annum depending on experience and qualifications.

As part of the Venue Hire team you will be leading on the AV elements of Society and Venue Hire client event delivery and assist them to project their ideas with technical expertise. You will be responsible for leading the technical team for events requiring support with Audio/Video, streaming, hybrid, lighting and recording needs.

- Lead the technical production of high-profile, technically complex events and assist in the hands-on delivery of events in line with the programme requirements for the venue.
