About the role
The Programmes Administrator will be in charge of the smooth running of 1MM Mentoring Programmes in Greater Manchester and other regions, including the supporting of mentors & mentees through their journey. By ensuring a fast and effective onboarding process, timely communication, and ongoing support for our participants the Programmes Administrator will assist Regional Managers and/or the Head of Delivery with maximising the positive impact of 1MM’s mentoring programmes. This role reports to the Head of Delivery.

- Understanding of dementia and the needs of those living with dementia and their carers would be an advantage but if you have had experience supporting with other diagnosis or support requirements this would be taken into consideration.
- Experience with communicating with a wide range of people, adapting your approach to ensure understanding at all levels.
- Able to network effectively and collaborating with other professionals to achieve a positive outcome for people.
- Good IT skills, experience working with databases and virtual meeting software (Teams / Zoom).
- The ability to travel across local area independently when required.

Spinal Injuries Association (SIA) is the expert guiding voice for life after spinal cord injury. We help people to navigate their unique journey towards leading an independent life that they want and choose.

This role will play a pivotal part in delivering our Travel with Confidence project.
This will include:
- Developing and launching a Travel with Confidence module on our website, to provide practical support and training to help people build their confidence and skills when travelling.
- Supporting a travel-related policy change and public awareness campaign to bring about lasting change.
- Planning and delivering project communications.
Duties and Responsibilities include
- Work with the external creative agency, videographers, our internal website team, and our clinical team to produce engaging, accessible, digital content for the Travel with Confidence module on our website.
- Launch the Travel with Confidence module on our website by working with our communications team.
- Establish and lead a working group of relevant stakeholders and end users to test all new functionality, ahead of launch.
- Work with our academy and impact manager to collate and analyse information to demonstrate the effectiveness of the Travel with Confidence module and it’s resources.
- Support our campaigns team to deliver a high-quality, evidence-based, external travel-related campaign that mobilises our community to bring about lasting change.
- Support in building an external network of influential contacts and strategic partners that will increase our impact.

You will lead and support a team of Homicide Family Caseworkers to meet service standards & contractual requirements. You will demonstrate the organisational skills required to manage a demanding & diverse workload and will have experience of achieving key performance indicators.
You will have excellent communication skills & will support the Operation Managers to maintain the highest standards of service delivery, across a widely geographically dispersed team. Team Structure:
You will be joining a People team as a team leader, responsible for the line management of our passionate HR Assistant who will work with you on monthly payroll and pensions, employee onboarding, training, and people data.
You will report into our Head of People and Culture who will work with you to identify trends, provide strategic direction, shape policy and act as a first point of escalation for any cases you may have to work through.
You will work alongside our talented Volunteering People Manager who provides key HR support to our volunteer community including building robust processes, handling any complaints or issues, managing volunteer engagement and supporting with Diversity, Equality and Inclusion.
About you
We are seeking a passionate HR professional who has or is working towards a CIPD qualification (level 3- 5), or has the equivalent experience in human resources.
Knowledge of HRIS and payroll systems would be beneficial and experience with payroll would be preferable so that you are able to provide key support to our HR Assistant with this process.
A strong understanding of the Employee lifecycle and all aspects of HR, strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to manage difficult conversations and conflict, and being friendly and approachable are all skills that we seek for this role.

The role:

About the role
Reporting to the Development Research Manager, the Senior Development Research Officer plays a vital role in the University’s fundraising operation. You will be accountable for the provision of accurate and appropriate information relating to potential and current donors to the University, high net worth individuals, corporations and charitable foundations worldwide. In particular, this role will focus on researching and prospecting ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWI) for our transformational philanthropy fundraisers, providing research and insight for fundraisers and our Senior Leadership Team (SLT) in this core area of our 200th anniversary campaign.
Working with colleagues, you will be responsible for the University’s programme of identification and analysis of potential donors, deploying and refining systems to support the documentation and management of such potential donors and suggesting tailored strategies to reach and engage such donors.
You will play an important part in gift acceptance due diligence; and have responsibility for developing an effective workload management system for the Research Team. You will also manage three development research staff and work closely with major gift fundraisers to help raise vital funds towards our appeals.
