We’re looking for a social media professional with strong customer service skills to support our goal to make every supporter feel valued and loved by the RNLI, as well as helping to achieve ambitious fundraising targets, protect the RNLI’s reputation, and deliver lifesaving safety messages to the public as we build up to celebrating our 200th birthday in 2024.
We are a 24/7 emergency service. You will be required to take part in an online community management rota, which includes some evenings and weekends (with time off in lieu during the week).

Your role
As a Social Media Executive, your focus will be to…
- Deliver first class customer service to supporters, volunteers and members of the public who engage with the RNLI on social media
- Create, curate and schedule engaging content for our social media channels
- Be alert and responsive to the news agenda, keeping abreast of issues affecting the RNLI and identifying PR opportunities and trends on social media that we can engage with
- Provide support during crisis and major issues response
About you
You’ll be experienced and comfortable communicating with the public and customers/supporters via social media, ideally in the charity sector or similar large organisation.
You will be able to demonstrate the skill required to nurture an online community, and provide an excellent customer/supporter experience.

Job Purpose:
The Clinical Nurse Specialist will act as a resource for The Robin Cancer Trust, beneficiaries, healthcare professionals and the wider public on germ cell cancers. The role includes service delivery and development, reviewing our health information and health education and awareness training resources, and supporting the creation and facilitation of a new Medical Advisory Group for Robin Cancer Trust. They will also work with the CEO to contribute to wider work to streamline and develop the services offered by The Robin Cancer Trust.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead responsibility for keeping up to date with clinical updates relating to germ cancer and communicating these to the team to inform service development and delivery.
- Research, create and provide accessible information and resources on all aspects of germ cell cancer (detection, treatment, recovery and survivorship)
- Oversight of the content provided in all training materials, resources and information developed by the wider team relating to germ cell cancer detection, treatment and recovery and survivorship.
- Build external stakeholder and peer relationships with other key cancer partners including hospital networks, cancer care partnerships, and other voluntary sector providers. Playing an active role in the germ cell cancer community.
- Working as a core part of the Robin Cancer Trust team to engage people face to face, providing information and on early detection, treatment, and recovery.
Person Specifications
Essential qualifications:
- Nursing and Midwifery Council registration and a degree in a related subject.
- Post-registration qualification(s) in speciality or relevant subject cancer care.

The Role
Recovery and Connect is a project delivered in partnership with Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. The Recovery and Connect Worker will work intensively with a caseload of individuals identified by the HomeFirst alliance, who have a pre-existing mental health concern and to support them to access ongoing community services. About the role
We’re looking for a Legacy Marketing Officer to join our Individual Giving and Legacy Team.
It’s an exciting time to join the Legacy Team as we are embarking on a new era for legacy and in memory giving at Young Lives vs Cancer. In memory giving and gifts in Wills left to us by our supporters are essential to ensuring we can help generations of children and young people who will sadly be living with a cancer diagnosis. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Legacy Marketing Officer to play a pivotal role in supporting the Legacy Marketing Manager to plan, implement and deliver legacy and in-memory strategies.
The Legacy Officer will work on a range of legacy and in-memory campaigns, materials and supporter centric journeys across multiple channels. As a team we will maximise legacy and in memory giving and acquire new legacy and in memory supporters, as well as nurturing existing supporters who have expressed an interest in leaving a gift in their Will for the future of Young Lives vs Cancer’s work.
The role will suit a passionate and creative individual who thrives on working collaboratively and who is able to manage end to end projects and supplier relationships. There will be a need to analyse data to monitor performance as well as identifying trends and opportunities. Fulfilment mapping is also a key element of the role as well as being comfortable presenting in person to colleagues and suppliers.
What will I be doing?

We are recruiting to a new, national lottery funded role of Communications and Events Officer. This role will be central to our publicity and social media strategy going forward. The postholder will support us to develop a coherent, data compliant approach to sharing our news, updating our platforms (website, social media) and developing hard copy materials such as leaflets and easy read information to share with our growing community. The Head of Fundraising & Communication is responsible for the generation of funds for Kintsugi Hope by a variety of income streams and for ensuring the Kintsugi Hope brand and services are marketed throughout the UK. Key Duties
- Carry out general admin duties in line with Mind BLMK’s policies, procedures, and processes (support meeting and greeting; post; email and telephone enquiries; finance, room bookings and meetings for fundraising and engagement / training departments; ordering and monitoring resources for fundraising and training.
- Deal with a wide variety of calls and enquiries from the general public, corporate organisations, operational staff, and managers, responding and taking action as appropriate (taking messages; relaying information accurately and on time; offer appropriate information regarding fundraising / communications and training.
- Responsible for stock checking and supplies and resources and open communication with internal and external parties.
- Ensure fundraising and marketing materials are stocked, and marketing materials are up to date.
- Monitor and maintain communications, training and fundraising email boxes.
- Liaise with internal / external parties regarding training duties as necessary and as directed by the Income Generation Manager.
- Write and send out outgoing thankyou letters to income streams.
- Help maintain an up to date and accurate supporter database and finance log.
- Provide general support to the Fundraising and Engagement Team.
- Provide general support to other Departments within the organisation.

We are looking for a Finance Officer to join our Finance team at Samaritans. As Finance Officer, you’ll support the Branch Finance function and branch treasurers, in particular leading the annual Central Charity contribution (‘New Branch Contribution’/NBC) process with affiliate branches and handling administrative tasks on branch banking.

The Role
We have 201 branches across the UK and Ireland. The core of this role involves coordinating the annual Central Charity contribution process, reviewing NBC calculations, co-ordinating invoicing and receipts, and escalating NBC queries, with total NBCs amounting to £0.7m-£1.3m a year. You will also be supporting our branch treasurers with banking processes and other administrative matters that are key to managing the finances of our branches.

Key Responsibilities
To work closely with the Evidence & Advocacy Manager (EAM) to develop and implement a series of impactful evidence and research projects that support our advocacy messaging, as well as internal and external learning for inclusive programmes and advisory work. These projects will build on established workstreams alongside developing new ones to maintain and extend CBM UK’s evidence base.
Disability Evidence, Policy Research and Learning
With EAM support the ongoing CBM UK Research and Evidence workstream, through:
1. Translating evidence from our programming countries and projects to produce and contribute to a range of resources to influence FCDO and other stakeholders. Tasks to include managing and maintaining established outputs, such as the CBM UK Project Evidence Briefs and Disability Voices paper series, generating new thematic papers, as well as policy and position papers to enhance effective advocacy submissions, briefing notes, blogs and other messaging on key disability rights issues.
2. Working collaboratively within CBM UK and across CBM Global to help develop and to deliver new policy research, drawing on mixed methods and data sources including national and international databases, using qualitative approaches including participatory or citizen generated data, and new empirical work.
3. Supporting Programme staff to improve impact and learning practice in CBM UK funded projects, provide technical support for the implementation of programme related research and data collection, including MEAL.
4. Providing technical research support into the development of proposals for new grant funded projects, and, where successful, support the management of subsequent research projects.
5. Keeping abreast of new research and publications on key themes and priority concerns within the CBM UK Advocacy and Influencing Strategy, taking into consideration sector trends and developments, and ensure this is disseminated to relevant staff within the CBM UK Team.
6. Keeping watch on UK policy environment and conducting research and analysis to support CBM UK advocacy messaging on disability and human rights.
Dissemination and Communications
1. Maintaining and developing internal knowledge management systems for research and information on disability inclusion and rights, and related areas, to be used by Advocacy, Programmes and Fundraising & Communications teams.
2. Ensuring communication plans are developed with CBM UK and Global Federation colleagues for CBM UK evidence outputs.
3. Maintaining the Advocacy and Influencing pages of the CBM UK website ensuring rights-based communication and focus to support CBM UK and Global campaigns.
4. Liaison with Fundraising & Communications colleagues to amplify media stories, case studies and compelling evidence from country programming for advocacy purposes.
5. Participation in and building good relationships with UK-based disability and development networks, including relevant research networks and membership of the BOND Disability and Development Group.
6. Supporting the professional publication and printing of CBM UK outputs, for dissemination at advocacy engagements and public events.
Other
1. Work with other CBM UK teams to maximise cross fertilisation opportunities and integrated working.
2. Help develop a culture of enthusiasm and success, reflecting the ambitions of CBM. Play an active role across CBM, promoting positive working and innovation. Ensure that the values of CBM UK are understood by external partners and always reflected in communications.
3. Identify opportunities to initiate and contribute to new initiatives and events, both within CBM UK and externally.

Are you our new Digital Communications Officer?
We are looking for a creative social media native who is comfortable not only with presenting UWC to different audiences but also collaborating and supporting our different stakeholders in doing so. You will join the Communications and Engagement Team at the UWC International Office (UWCIO) which consists of six people and report to the Digital Communications Manager.
As a Digital Communications Officer, you will create, develop and deliver content across all UWC International’s social media channels in line with our social media strategy and lead on sourcing or creating the relevant, required reporting to demonstrate engagement and impact. You will also support UWC’s truly global network of volunteers through digital resources, templates and training. In doing so, you will use your digital communications skills for the better, contributing to the success of the movement and supporting young people to access transformational educational opportunities they would otherwise not have dreamt of.
Part of the larger Advancement Team at UWC International, the Communications and Engagement Team provides the UWC movement with strategic leadership, support and advice in the area of internal and external communication, PR, promotion, marketing, crisis communications, alumni and wider community engagement, and partnerships with other organisations. The Team has a coordination and support function for teams across the UWC International Office, as well as other UWC stakeholders globally, such as UWC schools, colleges, national committees and governance bodies.
