Spectra’s HIV Outreach Worker will deliver sexual health and well-being outreach and support for targeted groups in commissioned London boroughs, focusing on those at increased risk of poor sexual health. Working with the HIV Prevention Coordinator and other sexual health staff, the postholder will deliver targeted and general HIV prevention programming, providing knowledge and skills, and empowering individuals to access the support that they need.
The postholder will liaise with local service providers supporting those groups in commissioned London boroughs, supported by HIV Prevention Coordinator.
The postholder will represent Spectra at several levels, being a liaison between Spectra and a range of agencies and professionals working with the different groups across London, as well as with a range of people and their carers.

Role Description
The HR & Operations function at SEO London has grown significantly in recent years, with a strong foundation now in place. This is an exciting opportunity for a new HR & Operations Manager to build on this progress and shape the next phase of our development. The role is to oversee and continuously improve the delivery of HR Strategy and operations in line with SEO London's mission, values and strategic objectives. In addition, this role will oversee organisation-wide operations.
The post-holder will:
- Further develop and execute a People plan that supports the achievement of the charity’s strategic objectives and an engaging and inclusive work environment
- Ensure that all policies and procedures align to SEO London’s vision and mission and the necessary regulatory and legal standards

- Full accountability to design and align the annual People agenda to the strategic needs of SEO London, working closely with the Chief Operating Officer

Regular review of HR policies, procedures, pay and benefits to make sure these are in line with current regulation - Provision of advice and support re. organisational design and development
- Internal reporting to Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and via an organisational dashboard
Employee Engagement and Wellbeing, and Diversity, Equality and Inclusion (DEI)
- Responsibility for developing and overseeing the engagement strategy for SEO London’s staff team
- Planning, execution and analysis of staff surveys, communication of insights and planning and execution of follow-up actions
- Design and delivery of culture building activities to support employee engagement and well-being e.g. team away days, oversight of staff-led wellbeing committee
- Responsibility for designing and embedding DEI policy and initiatives in conjunction with the ELT and other senior leaders

Learning and Development and Performance Management
- Execution of a robust and future-focused talent development, performance management, and learning strategy that supports staff members’ ongoing learning and performance

Employee Relations
- Advice and support to Senior Managers regarding employee relations issues
- Lead responsibility for management of employee relations issues, as agreed with the Chief Operating Officer
Recruitment and Onboarding
- Identification of recruitment needs and plans alongside hiring managers with focus on filling skills and experience gaps where necessary, internal progression opportunities and cost-effective hiring processes
- Design and execution of an effective and efficient candidate experience

- Embedding of DEI and Safeguarding measures into recruitment processes
- Continuous improvement of onboarding plans and processes, working closely with managers to ensure high quality new starter induction

This role is 12-month fixed contract with potential to extend at the end of that period depending on the performance of the role and organisational circumstances at the time.
In this role you will:
- Seek and fulfil a variety of engagements in the London and the South East which engender loyalty and acquire short- and long-term income contributing to the fundraising target of £405k per year.
- Maximise income from Churches and Events
- Participate in All We Can’s presence at several conferences and events each year, inspiring current and new supporters through stalls, workshops, and stage time.
- Build and develop new strategic relationships with ministers, lay workers, and key volunteers in Methodist Churches across the country, encouraging them into deeper income-generating engagement with All We Can.
- Collaborate with others in the Public Engagement Team to develop new resources and fundraising products to engage supporters and generate income
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have experience of community fundraising involving relationship-building, planning, and generating a response to a call to action with experience of community fundraising in a Christian context being desirable.
- Be a passionate and convincing public speaker, with experience of speaking/presenting in a Christian context; being a qualified preacher and/or worship leader in a church tradition would be an advantage but is not a requirement.
- Have experience of generating and following up on new opportunities. Experience of project management in a professional context will be an advantage but is not a requirement.
- Have excellent oral and written communication skills and proven ability to communicate both stories and data.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including an ability and willingness to communicate to diverse audiences. To be comfortable communicating to Christian groups and individuals.

We are looking for a Community and Challenge Events Fundraiser to create and deliver an engaging programme of mass participation and community fundraising activities to meet agreed, ambitious targets, enhancing the support base and driving income.

Position
Reporting into the Head of Communications, this is a strategic and hands-on management role responsible for driving ShareAction’s media function and acting as a key business partner for colleagues across the organisation. Using your experience of developing media strategies, you will advise teams on how to enhance ShareAction’s position as a thought leader on responsible investment, support organisational goals to influence decision-makers and engage target audiences and help manage ShareAction’s reputation by advising on risk and mitigation. You will line manage a Media Manager and Senior Media Officer in the UK and provide guidance to a Media Advisor in Brussels to design and deliver high-quality media relations activity and ensure the effective operation of ShareAction’s press office and internal processes, including media monitoring and reporting.

Following the recent General Election, the network has experienced growth and is now preparing to support upcoming elections, votes at 16 and new developments such as changes to democratic education and the curriculum review. The network is non-partisan and works across all 4 nations in the UK.
The aims of the network include:
Increasing the number of young people engaging with democracy and elections.
Increasing the number of teachers and youth workers delivering democratic education, and strengthening their capacity to deliver impactful democratic engagement and voter registration activities in schools, colleges and youth settings across the UK.
Improving coordination between organisations engaging young people across the youth, education and democracy sectors, through growing the Democracy Classroom network.
ABOUT THE ROLE
To achieve the above, the post holder will:
- Support, build and manage relationships with over 100 civil society partner organisations.
- Manage the day-to-day running of the network, including the network's communications and databases.
- Coordinate the sharing of learning materials, working with teachers and youth workers to organise, map and curate content that supports democratic and election education.
- Oversee the Democracy Classroom website / platform.
- Train and support teachers and youth workers to deliver democratic education materials.
- Oversee our #ElectionCountdown programme during UK local, devolved and national elections and the associated comms campaigns.
- Line manage the Democracy Classroom programme coordinator and manage relationships with freelance teachers, youth workers and designers.
- Oversee evaluation and monitoring, producing reports where required.
The job is a fixed term 12-month contract (including a 6-month probation period), with possible extension depending on the electoral calendar.
The Politics Project is based in London, and the post holder will be expected to work from the office at least two days a week. The hours of work are 37.5 hrs per week. Occasional travel to elsewhere in the UK and working unsocial hours in evenings and at weekends may be required. This is a fast-paced role in a small but growing team.

We are hiring a Grassroots Development Officer at BVSC on a 2 year contract. Responsible to the Funding and Development Manager, the role of Grassroots Development Officer will be to support the growth and sustainability of small voluntary, community, and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations in Bexley. The Grassroots Development Officer will be responsible for providing a wide range of organisational development support services and activities to assist grassroots VCSE organisations to develop, thrive and remain sustainable. This role is particularly interested in working with groups who deliver services to young people, the elderly, minority ethnic (global majority) and migrant groups, those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), and residents in the north of the borough (areas with high deprivation and a higher proportion of small groups).
