CoppaFeel! are the UK’s only youth focused breast cancer awareness charity, and we’re on a mission to get every 18-24 year old checking their chest. We educate people on the signs of breast cancer and encourage them to check their chests monthly, so that if they notice something unusual they are empowered to contact their GP and advocate for themselves.
We do this because when diagnosed early, breast cancer treatments are more effective and survival rates are higher. Early detection can save lives.
Breast cancer does not need to be detected late, and as long as we are here and continue to be supported by people like you, we will do all we can to make sure this doesn’t continue to happen.
About the role
It’s been an exciting year for the CoppaFeel! Marketing team; we’ve had a brand refresh, onboarded new agencies, launched award winning campaigns and grown a partnership with Love Island. And it’s all been in the name of our mission; to ensure all breast cancers are diagnosed early and accurately in young people.
We are looking for an exceptional Head of Marketing to lead our Marketing team, help shape the direction of and oversee our 2025 campaign, and collaborate with other Heads of Departments to deliver CoppaFeel!’s three year organisational strategy.
This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that you will attend the London office 2 days per week. You will be required to attend the office for quarterly team meetings, department meetings and in person training, we will provide plenty of notice for when you are required to be in for these purposes.
Duties and Responsibilities

Work as a valued part of the CoppaFeel! Leadership team to deliver the organisational strategy, shape the culture and influence cross departmental ways of working.

Lead the CoppaFeel! Marketing team - setting direction, supporting growth and overseeing performance.

Inspire and motivate the personal development of team members.

Directly line manage the Marketing Manager, Social Manager and Digital Marketing Manager (subject to change, to be discussed at interview).

Lead on the delivery of CoppaFeel!’s marketing strategy and management of marketing output across the charity.

Lead on the delivery of the annual marketing campaign to create award winning, impactful work that raises awareness of CoppaFeel! with our target audience.

Manage key third party agency relationships.

Oversee and develop audience insights and segmentation.

Ownership of the marketing budget and quarterly re-forecasting.

Contribute to quarterly all staff team meetings.

Develop long term partnerships and relationships with key stakeholders both in the breast cancer space and marketing sector that bolster CoppaFeel!’s growth and awareness with young people.

Ensure rigorous reporting and analysis of marketing activity to ensure delivery of planned KPIs, with an ambition to be constantly improving and evolving.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
Essential

Minimum 5 years experience working in a marketing/brand communications role.

Demonstrable experience of implementing marketing strategies.

A strong track record of delivering multi-platform, integrated awareness campaigns, with an understanding of media planning, creative, PR and social media planning, creative, PR, social.

A leader with the ability to develop and motivate a multidisciplinary team to achieve high standards.

Clear understanding of audience insight, including experience targeting and tailoring campaigns and communications to CoppaFeel!’s 18-24 year old target audience.

The role:
Hackney has a longstanding reputation of being open and welcoming to migrants, refugees and people seeking asylum - both as a Council and a community. Currently 800 people are seeking asylum in Hackney, and Welcome Hackney provides access to timely and effective support while they await the outcome of their claim. This role sits within the Welcome Hackney (Refugee, Migrant and Asylum Seeker) Service. The postholder will manage three support workers who provide direct support to refugees, migrants, and people seeking asylum in Hackney. The purpose of the role will be to ensure that migrants in Hackney have access to timely and effective support, to coordinate workload allocation across the three support workers, and ensure that we are providing a service that is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and aligns with anti-racist practice. The postholder will also lead on the delivery of our Welcome Hub, a weekly drop in open to all migrants in the borough, including coordinating support provision, overseeing logistics of hub operations, and involving internal and external stakeholders.
Skills & experience:
• Experience working with refugees, migrants and/or people seeking asylum, and of the challenges that can be faced - particularly with experience of homelessness prevention and alleviation
• Experience of developing and managing teams that advocate for, and takes account of, the needs of diverse stakeholder groups.

Corporate Development Lead

You’ll identify, engage and steward philanthropy prospects through events and other appropriate fundraising activities, generating income to achieve ambitious targets and delivering a first class supporter experience.
You’ll ensure the provision of excellent individual care to ensure long term commitment, contributing to the overall implementation of our Philanthropy team’s objectives.

As Philanthropic Programs Director, you will lead and keep developing AIM's Impactful Grantmaking training program and oversee our five funding circles. We will also conduct a reference check before making an offer. Each stage typically takes 1-2 weeks from the end of the application deadline, and we hope to make an offer within ~8 weeks of the application deadline. Ideally, the candidate will begin onboarding as soon as possible after an offer is made. We strongly prefer candidates to join the team by January 2025, but we would consider a different date for an ideal candidate.

The Horniman Museum and Gardens is a unique attraction in south east London where world cultures and the natural world are brought together for everyone to enjoy. The Museum holds internationally important collections of anthropology and musical instruments, as well as a popular natural history gallery and Aquarium. The 16 acres of beautiful Gardens feature a tropical Butterfly House and offer stunning views across London. The Horniman is the holder of the prestigious Art Fund Museum of the Year 2022.
The Horniman’s mission is to connect us all with global cultures and the natural environment, encouraging us to shape a positive future for the world we all share. We are looking for a Head of Commercial to play a key role in maximising our income generation streams in order to support this mission, leading day-to-day operations across retail, catering and ticket sales. You will also have the wider responsibility of proposing and developing new business opportunities, working closely with the Venue Hire and Programming and Visitor Experience teams. A key project for the role is managing the delivery of a new children’s café as part of our ambitious Nature + Love capital project.
You will have a proven track record in commercial management and experience of all aspects of retail and catering operations, ideally gained in a visitor attraction setting. You will have experience of driving income through innovation and the development of partnerships and have solid financial commercial experience in budgeting and forecasting. The role reports to and works closely with the Director of Audiences and Income and leads a busy, dedicated and talented team. You will be an inspiring, collaborative and supportive line manager with experience of management reporting and working effectively with customer relationship management and box office systems.
You will have an empathy for and interest in the Horniman’s mission, collections and programme alongside a passion for the transformational impact arts, culture and nature can have on people’s lives.
