The Role: As the Director of Fundraising & Engagement, you will be responsible for scaling our income up to £10 million within a short timeframe, while developing and implementing innovative fundraising and engagement strategies to support our mission. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead and inspire a high-performing fundraising and engagement team, including the Head of Fundraising, Communication and Marketing Manager, and Volunteer Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute an aggressive fundraising and engagement strategy to achieve ambitious income targets, with a focus on rapid growth
- Cultivate and manage relationships with major donors, corporations, and foundations
- Enhance our digital fundraising capabilities and implement innovative engagement strategies
- Build and implement an aggressive communications strategy to increase the charity's public visibility
- Identify and pursue new funding opportunities, including grants and partnerships
- Ensure compliance with UK charity sector regulations and fundraising best practices

Who We're Looking For:
We are seeking an exceptional Director of Fundraising & Engagement who has:
- Proven track record of rapidly scaling organic fundraising income from £4-5 million to £10 million or beyond
- Extensive experience securing major gifts and managing high-value donor relationships
- Strong understanding of the UK charity sector and fundraising regulations
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience managing multiple direct reports
- Strategic thinking ability and the capacity to execute plans swiftly and effectively
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence, motivate, and persuade donors and stakeholders
- Experience with digital fundraising techniques and CRM systems
- Proficiency in budget management, reporting, and forecasting

About the role
Breast Cancer Now are excited to recruit the new role of fundraising compliance officer to support its growing fundraising ambitions. As our fundraising compliance officer, you will play an essential role in ensuring our fundraising and marketing activities meet the highest standards in an ever-changing regulatory landscape, to mitigate potential risks for the charity and to maintain the trust of our supporters.
The varied role will work collaboratively with fundraising colleagues from across the charity. No day will feel the same, as you provide expert advice and assurance on a diverse range of fundraising products and marketing communications, this includes TV ads, prize competitions, social lotteries, and direct marketing campaigns. The role will work closely with individual giving team and our professional fundraising agencies to assure we are meeting our compliance commitments.
The successful candidate will also support the compliance team as it continues to develop the culture and maturity in fundraising compliance across the charity, with continuous improvement to our training, resources, process, communication and reporting.
About you
The successful candidate will possess a blend of technical knowledge, analytical skills, interpersonal abilities and a keen eye for detail to ensure adherence to regulations and internal policies.
The ideal candidate will have some prior understanding of charity fundraising and the needs of working in an assurance role, but training can be provided. Prior knowledge some data protection legislation and fundraising regulations would also be beneficial, such as the data protection act, fundraising code of practice, CAP code, gambling commission code, and HMRC gift aid rules. You will also be self-motivated and have an eagerness to learn and develop in line with the ever-changing regulatory landscape and the charities needs and goals.
Ideal attributes of a candidate include an analytical mind, with the ability to review information, ask questions and make informed decisions to support the charity to meet its objectives, whilst also mitigating unnecessary risk.
You will be an approachable, confident and clear communicator, that can adapt your communication stye to a verity of audiences in order to convey complex information in a clear and understandable manner, that is both educational and builds productive relationships with colleagues.
Excellent organisation and IT skills are also essential tools of a potential candidate, as the role will require effective task prioritisation to manage an active schedule, record management of compliance registers and folders, plus the analysis and production of detailed guidance procedures and reports.

CoramIAC is a Voluntary Adoption Agency which specialises in Intercountry Adoptions. This position is a member of the Leadership Team and will have a pivotal role in leading, developing and managing a range of operational adoptions services, ensuring that they meet the needs of children we are providing services for, including all legal, policies, guidelines, and internal standards. They will play a key role in helping to develop new services and where appropriate will take operational control of these.
About the Role
The Head of Service post holder will take the lead responsibility (under Ofsted registration) as the Adoption Manager of CoramIAC. They will ensure the ongoing delivery of an outstanding VAA that is fully compliant with national minimum standards and regulations; and ensuring high quality adoption support and a sufficient supply of adopters that reflects the diversity of the countries they are adopting from.
Applying to adopt in the UK is open to anyone already in the process with CoramIAC but we do not actively recruit domestic adopters like other VAAs. Approved Intercountry Adopters may however request to change their approval advice to the UK if they are considered a suitable match for children available and waiting for permanence through Adoption in the UK.
CoramIAC predominantly serve prospective adopters from the global majority and as such recruit and train a highly diverse and skilled group of adopters to enable the best outcomes for children whilst also offering adopter and sector diversity for potentially harder to place children. This includes family groups and older children. Our offer to RAAs via our domestic program therefore delivers families for children who often wait the longest in the care system.

Oak Foundation’s Housing and Homelessness Programme is a grant-making programme that supports organisations to end homelessness and create housing opportunities. The programme funds projects across the UK and US. In additional to national projects, it also funds within the geographic locations prioritised in its current strategy. These locations are London, Bristol, the West Midlands, Northern Ireland, Wales, Scotland, New York, Boston, and Philadelphia.
With an annual budget of over USD 30 million, the programme makes 37 new multi-year grants annually; in addition, the programme maintains strong connections with existing grantee partners, sharing learning and opportunities. The programme has three strategic priorities: renter rights, supply and access to genuinely affordable and decent homes, and reduction and prevention of homelessness. About the role
The Housing and Homelessness Programme is currently made up of a programme director, five programme officers, and one programme associate, all of whom are based in our London office. We are looking for a highly organised individual, with the ability to juggle a variety of tasks at the same time. They will be able to undertake research on housing and homelessness issues to inform our grant-making choices, conduct analyses of our existing portfolio, and oversee some of our monitoring and evaluation processes, while also providing administrative support to the programme director, such as organising meetings and maintaining our grant-making database. They will need to be a self-starter with the confidence to work both independently and part of a team. The position also provides administrative support to the Oak London office and serves as back-up to the office manager.
Main responsibilities
- Managing the grant-making project management system and monitoring the grant-making budget.
- Taking a substantial role in implementing our monitoring, learning, and evaluation strategy, overseeing the regular analysis of our grant-making portfolio, and reviewing outcomes/learning and regularly presenting these to the whole team.
- Conducting research on housing issues as well as potential new partners, as directed by the programme director. This will include keeping abreast of relevant policy issues, and reading and summarising external reports for the benefit of the programme team and our grant-making portfolio.
- Contributing to the design, implementation, and regular review of the programme strategy.

Position requirements
- University degree preferred but not essential
- 3-5 years’ demonstrable experience of working for a not-for-profit organisation or development organisation, ideally in a housing and homelessness policy and research.
- Highly organised and able to juggle a wide range of responsibilities that may demand ongoing reprioritisation.
- Experience of using social media for research and communications.
- Demonstrable experience and confidence in all Microsoft applications, including Excel, PowerPoint and Teams. Additional database experience (preferably Salesforce) is an asset.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, with the ability to write for a range of different audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated openness and capacity to learn quickly.

This role is part of the Wiltshire Project which provides individual and family support to domestic abuse for victims and their children.
Working with children and young people, the team will focus on delivering timely and high quality, trauma informed support to children who have been the victims of domestic abuse.
This is a fixed term position to November 2025.
This exciting post will be working with children who have experienced or been affected by domestic abuse. Focusing on standard and medium risk cases, this role will provide practical and emotional support to children and young people, with an emphasis on early intervention and awareness raising.
In addition, there will be the opportunity to work with the team and manager to develop and deliver new group work provision for young people.
Key tasks and responsibilities include:
- To provide high quality, specialist support to children who have lived in a domestically abusive family.
- Enabling young people to access statutory and other services where appropriate.
- Managing a caseload and working proactively to support young people and their families.
- To deliver educational, time-bound, 1 to 1 support sessions for children and young people.
- Provide specialist support to child victims, with a focus on empowering young people to make informed decisions.

- Manage a caseload of low to high risk children and young people, predominantly through face to face appointments but also utilising virtual technologies.

The Role

The Person
We are looking for an empathetic, open minded and committed person to provide a person-centred approach and support people with mental health issues. In this role you will require excellent listening and communication skills and be both resilient and able to work well under pressure. You must also be proactive and have the ability to develop key relationships with an array of organisations in the local community.
Experience of working in a similar role would be advantageous, however we are also keen to speak to candidates who have experience of supporting people with their mental health in a voluntary capacity.

About the role
We are looking for a Driver and Admin Assistant who will be responsible for transporting office staff, visiting Sightsavers personnel, and consultants as needed. The Driver will also ensure the maintenance and safety of all office vehicles. Additionally, the Driver will perform clerical duties to support the efficient operation of the office.

As part of a culture of best practice, you will ensure adherence to DotW policies and will provide support resolving complex cases, deploying your demonstrative experience delivering person-centred, compassionate care and/or advice and support to people seeking asylum or from other excluded communities.
You will lead by example, demonstrating effective advocacy, coordination, and multi-tasking skills, The role requires emotional agility, and resilience, especially when dealing with complex situations such as mental health crises, trafficking, and homelessness, where you will draw on your experience to manage complex situations calmly and compassionately. About the Role

Aquarius is a charity that helps people and communities overcome the harm caused by alcohol, drugs and gambling. We are part of ‘One Recovery Buckinghamshire’ (ORB), a partnership between Inclusion (MPFT NHS Trust), Aquarius, ADFAM and Build on Belief providing support for alcohol and drug issues across Buckinghamshire. We are looking for a Complex Needs Practitioner (Family Practitioner) to join our team in High Wycombe.
The purpose of the role is to engage people who are affected by someone’s substance use in a variety of interventions, using a person-centred approach, empowering them to reduce risk, increase resilience and achieve positive outcomes.
All Complex Needs Practitioners (Family Practitioners) work flexibly across the community and within our multi-agency partnership settings. The caseload will include a mixture of community and multi-agency referral pathways including health and social care. You will join our caring multi-disciplinary teams, to help empower you to provide quality psychosocial interventions to our diverse client groups. Complex Need Practitioners (Family Practitioner) will work with support, training and recognised best practice family interventions, in collaboration with our partners ADFAM.
A core part of the role will be working with people to address holistic support needs across all aspects of the person’s substance use and wellbeing. This could include diverse work related to physical & emotional wellbeing, knowledge and understanding of drugs / alcohol / treatment, relationship with substance user, relationships with family and friends, meaningful activity, self-care and goal setting.
An energetic and confident self-starter, you have experience in Family/Carer work or a qualification in health/social care, youth and community work (e.g. NVQ Level 3 or above, DipSW, Mental Health Nursing, Counselling, Addiction Studies). Alternatively, we’ll consider candidates with experience of working in family support or the substance misuse field with a commitment to complete NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care. Experience of liaising with voluntary and statutory agencies and health professionals and engaging effectively with clients in a variety of settings is essential.
