As the Supporter Engagement Officer, you’ll create opportunities for our amazing supporters to connect with and drive our work through various means of individual giving. You'll create engaging communucations, ensuring that our donors feel valued and understand the impact they're having on babies and their families, and you'll develop key appeals and individual giving activity to drive growth in these income streams.
You will:
- Manage the development of individual giving income streams, including legacy giving, regular giving, one-off gifts, in memory giving and new products
- Co-ordinate key engagement activity, such as the annual supporter Thankathon and Impact Report
- Oversee administration and stewardship of individual giving income
- Manage the promotion, sale and distribution of Lullaby Trust merchandise
This role can be offered as a hybrid role (with approximately one day per week in our London office) or fully remote, with occasional visits to the office for meetings or staff days as necessary; the two salary ranges above reflect this. The 21 hours could be worked across 3-5 days per week.

When someone sustains a spinal cord injury, it is a life changing experience.
Back Up’s Regional Outreach and Engagement team are the very face of the organisation and are based across the UK, working directly with spinal cord injury centres, major trauma centres and hospitals – or indeed anywhere that people affected by spinal cord injury may be.
As a Regional Coordinator, you will build relationships and take ownership for what happens in your geographical area. The Role: This is an exciting new position for a highly motivated, organized, and analytical individual with the opportunity to make a real difference in a growing organization. As our Government Fundraising Specialist, you will be at the forefront of implementing our government fundraising strategy. This role involves a blend of research, advocacy, strategic proposal development, and guidance on contractual and donor compliance. You will join a dynamic, hard-working team responsible for securing 90% of the organization's revenue. Your work will focus on a new two-pronged approach: targeting governments at both the capital and local embassy levels in the regions where we operate our grantmaking programs, with the goal of making this revenue stream a significant component of our organizational budget in the coming years. You will not be starting from scratch, as we currently have secured government funding, as well as numerous relationships with governments that can be leveraged. We are recruiting four Workforce Leads to support hands-on recruitment, attraction and the onboarding and training of IPS Employment Specialists and Team Leaders across the country. IPS Grow is a national programme designed to support the expansion of Individual Placement and Support (IPS) services in mental health, primary care, and drug and alcohol teams across England. The programme is led by Social Finance in partnership with the Centre for Mental Health. It is funded by NHS England and Improvement (NHSE/I), the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), and the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID).
The Workforce Lead will provide specialist support to services embarking on recruitment campaigns, monitor their effectiveness and share learning. They will also provide hands-on support for recruitment efforts and training. This will vary according to the service need, but could include headhunting, sifting CVs, preparing for interviews, shortlisting and training.
The opportunity
The Workforce Leads will play a crucial role in the recruitment, onboarding, and training of the IPS Workforce within their designated regions. They will support the scale up of the IPS workforce by ensuring high-quality recruitment processes, comprehensive training programs, and effective onboarding practices. The Grant and Programmes Manager will support members and the wider advice sector to access grant funding to sustain their advice services to the benefit of people seeking advice. The post holder will manage grant-funded programmes and nurture positive relationships with funders so their programmes are supportive of the needs of AdviceUK members and the communities they serve.
Key responsibilities
- Project and Programme Management: Oversee the effective delivery of multiple projects and programmes, coordinating staff, partners, and stakeholders, while ensuring compliance with funder requirements and financial reporting.
- Project and Programme Development: Support the Senior Leadership Team to identify funding opportunities and developing funding bids and proposals, including tenders for contracts, ensuring these new projects integrate with AdviceUK’s strategic objectives.
- Data Management and Evaluation: Ensure effective monitoring, evaluation, and reporting of projects to measure performance, support decision-making, and share insights with stakeholders.

The Grant and Programmes Manager will be able to demonstrate at least 2 years’ experience managing multiple time-limited projects and programmes in a similar role. The successful candidate will have experience of setting up and maintaining effective processes to monitor and evaluate projects/programmes so they deliver funder requirements and agreed objectives. You will have experience of working with funders to support the development of their funding strategy and programmes, and building successful bids for project/programme funding. You will have strong knowledge of funding and grant-making processes.
You will have the ability to build strong working relationships with peers, managers, members, partners and funders, with strong analytical, decision-making and organisational skills. You will be able to communicate clearly and concisely to a range of audiences. You will be able to use online reporting tools and CRMs and embrace new technologies and ways of working.
