Churches Conservation Trust is the national charity protecting historic churches at risk, ensuring they are enjoyed as social, tourism, educational and cultural resources, kept open, in use, and living once again in the heart of their communities.
As a Conservation Projects Manager and a key member of the national Conservation team, you will work with experienced consultants and skilled craftspeople, with national and regional colleagues, volunteers, local partners and stakeholders to develop and manage a range of holistic, conservation and new use projects, from inception to completion, and providing professional advice and support to community led projects. You will lead on all capital, conservation and maintenance, programmes in the region.
You will have expertise and specialist knowledge in the field of historic building repair and conservation, and a proven track record of project management (client side) in the heritage sector. You might be a Building Surveyor, a Conservation Architect, an Estate Manager, or a Project Manager, in this continually varied and unique role you will be working on some of the most significant historic buildings in the country. As you’ll be working on projects across the region, but not exclusively, it is essential you have a full driving license.

You will be responsible for manging and developing a portfolio of existing fundraising donors, deepening their relationship with the Foundation and upscaling donated gifts as well as developing a healthy pipeline of new donors with a view to increasing our fundraising portfolio.
You will also work with our Head of Foundation to help deliver a successful, diverse and fulfilled events programme to drive fundraising, engage existing members and corporate sponsors as well as attract prospective new donors to our Foundation.
Responsibilities
· Cultivate and maintain relationships with individual donors (including members), major donors, corporate sponsors, and other foundations/benefactors.
· Review and relaunch the Foundation’s Corporate Partner Programme to generate significant commercial growth
· Review and remarket the Foundation’s Membership Programme expanding our supporter base year on year.
· Help develop and implement effective fundraising strategies to coincide with these relaunches to enable us to meet annual fundraising goals.
· Manage donor, corporate partner and membership databases including the membership benefit programme.
· Assist in creating a calendar of fundraising events that generate income and cultivate our supporter base
· Convert one-off donors and event attendees into regular donors and/or members.
· Monitor and evaluate member, commercial and fundraising performance.
· Build out a Wasps Legends Ambassador Programme which helps facilitate revenue growth.
· Perform administrative duties to support the Head of Foundation and Chair where applicable.

Since Brexit, EU citizens in the UK and their family members have been brought under the Hostile Environment. the3million has been providing information to EU citizens and has continuously advocated for a fairer immigration system, especially in making the EU Settlement Scheme more accessible to all.
We provide a platform for EU citizens to become politically active and use their voices to advocate for themselves. The Community Organiser will be part of a team to create opportunities for EU citizens to have increased capacity to engage in activism and lead the change they want to see in the UK, their home.
This role is at an officer level and suitable for people who are looking for their first paid role in Organising, but have had some grassroots experience, even if on an informal or voluntary basis. You can expect to be mentored by an experienced Community Organiser and thereby learn a lot while on the job. More experienced candidates are also welcome to apply.We are currently in the process of applying for funding to extend this role. If we are successful, the contract will be extended by 2 years and we will work with the successful Organiser on a progression route, reviewing the job holder’s salary level after they have been in the role for 6 months.

1. Co-lead the3million’s “EU Citizens’ Campaigns Network”

Working with the Community Organiser - Campaigns to recruit more members of the EU Citizens’ Campaigns Network by regularly reaching out to relevant communities and booking 1-1 meetings with key community leaders;
