Role Overview:

This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in our Fundraising and Lottery team. As the Lottery and Promotions Lead, you will be responsible for conceptualising, planning, and executing innovative Lottery and Promotions campaigns that drive engagement and sales across Lincolnshire. Your primary focus will be on increasing our income generation from Lottery and Promotions activities, adapting to the challenging economic climate.

You will work closely and collaboratively with the Head of Fundraising and Lottery to develop and implement a strategic approach to expanding our reach, reducing attrition rates, increasing income and enhancing brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Champion and promote Lottery and Promotions products within the organisation and throughout our Lincolnshire community and beyond to support the Charity’s Trust-wide Organisational and Income Generation Strategies for 2024-2029 in order to drive growth.
• Identify and seize business development opportunities to promote the Hospice Lottery across Lincolnshire.
• Increase sales of Lottery and Promotions products, including lottery memberships and raffles.
• Understand supporter motivations and tailor Lottery and Promotions activities to meet their needs.
• Manage an income target of circa £700, 000 across Lottery and Promotions products.
• You will be the primary contact for Lottery and Promotions advice, guidance, and support to ensure that activity is delivered to the highest standard, and levels of confidentiality and is compliant with Gambling and Charity legislation, including the Gambling Act 2005, GDPR, Fundraising Code of Practice and Gambling Commission

Qualifications and Experience:

Crisis is the national charity for people experiencing homelessness. In 2024 we embarked on our new 10-year strategy for ending homelessness. We know it is not inevitable. We know together we can end it.

We offer people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless housing and benefits advice, 1-2-1 coaching, advocacy, courses and peer group sessions alongside practical services of showers and laundry for street homeless. 

About the role 

As an Engagement and Assessment Worker, you will be part of Crisis Skylight Brent’s Engagement and Assessment Team, providing a high quality, non-judgemental and safe service to individuals who approach our Skylight Centre. Engagement and Assessment Workers are the first point of contact for a range of enquiries from people who are experiencing homelessness for the first time, individuals with complex and multiple needs, visitors, volunteers, and supporters. You will be providing information about Crisis’ services, delivering a high-quality triage and assessment service, and offering Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) on local homelessness and other related services. You will also manage a small caseload. 

Crisis uses a case management approach, and the successful candidate will attend case management meetings, reflective practice, and team meetings. You will also work collaboratively with external partners and Crisis Skylight Brent’s Coaching and Learning Teams. 

About you 

To be successful in this role you will have: 

• Experience of working with homeless or other vulnerable groups and understanding of the importance of respecting confidentiality, showing empathy and sensitivity, and working in a boundary way 

• Experience of assessing presenting needs and working in a Psychologically Informed Environment, and in a way that ensures that members with all levels of need can access the service. 

• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering the highest standard of customer care and high quality IAG. 

• Good knowledge of homelessness, housing and welfare legislation and Safeguarding procedures 

• Strong interpersonal skills including effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to deal with challenging situations with a calm approach. 

• Ability to manage a caseload, and successful relationships with external service providers and partners. 

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference by playing a vital role in our work across Bradford.   Reporting into the local team and supported by the national fundraising team, this role will be responsible for engaging volunteers both as individuals and groups across the area to raise funds for MHA. Outreach Worker- Bengali Speaking (working with Parent & Children), 21 hours per week, £27,177 per annum, pro-rata (including London weighting), North-West Westminster.  Fixed term to end March 2026

This is a highly rewarding role for an Outreach Worker to support parents and carers of children under 5 at Westminster Children Centres. We are currently looking to recruit an Outreach worker in Westminster are to provide accessible information to parents and carers, particularly those who are marginalised, to ensure they receive the support they need in order to increase opportunities and strengthen family life, bringing better outcomes for children.

Fluent in Bengali, the role will include developing an understanding of the local area including services and facilities. You will also need to pro-actively engage with vulnerable and isolated families and carry out home visits, as required. The role will include developing good relationships with health visitors and liaising with other agencies regarding the needs of parents and carers. In addition, the successful individual will help to organise social events to bring the community together.

We are looking for someone who has experience of community and outreach work with diverse communities in an inner-city environment. This will include experience of a wide range of methods/techniques to reach out and engage with isolated individuals/communities. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, along with the ability to empathise with parents and carers are required. A non-judgmental approach is essential. The ability to network is also important.

A commitment to safeguarding vulnerable adults and children, as well as an understanding of and commitment to equal opportunities and diversity are essential.

We are currently looking for a Parent/Family worker, to join our dynamic, ambitious team.

A key part of this role will be your ability to ensure that you support families and carers whose children are going missing, or coming home late. You will ensure parents/carers and young people have a greater understanding of missing, exploitation and are supported to effectively safeguard their child/ren.

This role enables vulnerable people with mental health needs to maximise independent living skills and opportunities for social inclusion as wells as manage their tenancies.

What you'll do:

Undertake key-working responsibilities for a caseload assigned by the Team Leader/ Manager
Undertake initial and continuous assessment of needs and potential risks and agree levels of support and actions
Create support/action plans for providing appropriate services based on the assessment and reflecting the services and resources available
Support customers to undertake all domestic tasks wherever possible, including practical assistance where they have not yet developed the skills, to ensure customers enjoy a high quality of accommodation
Support individuals to manage their prescribed medication
Develop and maintain links with all key agencies and service providers in the local community
Empower customers to ensure they receive the service and benefits they are entitled to
Carry out H&S and Fire Safety checks in individual rooms as well as communal areas of the building
Identify and report appropriately any Safeguarding concerns
Promptly report and follow up maintenance issues
Undertake all administrative work and keep accurate and comprehensive tenant/customer records to professional standards
Encourage and enable tenants to pay their rent and to ensure that rent accounts are managed effectively in conjunction with the Housing Management team
Ensure that referrals are chased proactively so that properties which can be used to house those in need are filled as efficiently as possible

We think and work a like an agency – we’re not here to simply cross the T’s and dot the I’s. Our work is all about finding the big ideas, so we need this to be one of your superpowers (and you’ll need a portfolio to prove it).

Our team takes on a variety of briefs from across the organisation and things move quickly. One day, you might be working on an experiential event or an OOH campaign. Job Purpose: To provide Information & Advice to older people. The service is primarily office-based but may also include outreach or home visits; providing support to the Volunteer I&A Advisors, providing office cover as required and supporting the I&A Advice Case Supervisor in keeping our information resources up to date.

Key Responsibilities:

To provide information and advice to older people, their careers, relatives and friends. This advice may be in person, in writing, by email or telephone. There may also be occasional home visits

To be responsible for the provision of up-to-date welfare benefit information and undertaking of benefits checks supporting older people with their claims and where necessary challenging DWP decisions and assisting with appeals.

To have an in-depth knowledge of those issues likely to affect older people, for example but not limited to Lasting Power of Attorney, succession, care provision and housing as well as paying for care

To respond promptly, proactively and effectively to a wide range of enquiries from the public

To support access to a wide range of services that are appropriate, paying particular attention to the needs of marginalised groups

To undertake rights-based casework, for example assisting with a wide range of complaints and making representations where appropriate.

To be responsible for the recording, collation and monitoring of all relevant information relating to clients accessing our services and the milestones, outcomes and outputs of the service

Aquarius is part of Recovery Focus, a national group of charities highly experienced in providing specialist support services to individuals and families living with the effects of mental ill health, drug and alcohol use, gambling and domestic violence. We know that recovery can look and feel very different to each and every one of us. But we also know that if we provide the right support, at the right time, we can inspire recovery nationwide and that recovery is possible for everyone.

Right now, we’re looking for someone like you to join our team in Aylesbury who support service users facing drug and / or alcohol related issues. You will provide the vital administrative, data entry and reporting and reception support the service needs to run smoothly. This is a substance misuse service that works with adults aged 18+ and is run in partnership with Inclusion (MPFT NHS Trust), Aquarius, Connections Support and Build on Belief.

As well as GCSE English and Maths at Grade C or above (or equivalent), you have experience of data entry, manipulation and reporting. We’ll also be looking for a background in an admin role where you dealt with people from a wide range of backgrounds, both over the phone and face-to-face. There is a requirement in the role to generate, print and record prescriptions. Familiar with all aspects of electronic communication such as email, diaries and the intranet, you have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Windows files and folders too. What’s more, you have lots of initiative, are great at multi-tasking, work well within a team and under direction from others.

This is a permanent full-time role requiring the post-holder to work 37 hours per week.
