Location: Islington, London. Our hybrid working model enables us to enjoy the benefits of both office based and remote working. What we're looking for:
- Experience of coaching and motivating a team to achieve fundraising or supporter experience targets and managing individual performance, holding team members accountable for hitting their goals.
- Experience in a customer or supporter service environment, with the ability to answer large volumes of public enquiries across all communication channels.
- Experience using databases (CRMs) to run regular reports on calling campaigns and individual performance, with the ability to disseminate key insights and data to relevant stakeholders.
- Excellent written communication, with the ability to write engaging responses to enquiries, judging the appropriate tone and content to be used.
- Emotional resilience to recover quickly from setbacks, keep positive and maintain perspective while navigating negative, challenging or emotive interactions.

St Albans School is a leading independent day school with an outstanding reputation for academic excellence. The foundation was established in 2008 to raise funds from alumni and parents of the School to increase the provision of means-tested bursaries and to assist the funding of capital projects. Reporting to the Development Director the Alumni Relations and Development Officer is responsible for fostering and maintaining relationships between the School and its former pupils and current parents by managing associated events and activities, communications and publications, and the administration of the Development database.
The ideal candidate will have experience in event management and fundraising, along with proficiency in CRM systems. Other information
As you will be home-based and managing a dispersed team, we are flexible about your location. However, you will be expected to travel to our office in Huddersfield for in-person full-team meetings quarterly, and you will need to bring your team together at a central location with similar regularity in between. On top of this, attendance at occasional in-person events and partner meetings, and visits to members to learn more about community rail and assist the team, will be important. This is a full-time position, 37 hours per week. We use a flexi-time system, with the core hours 10am-3pm, and we are committed to being a flexible, supportive and understanding employer. This is a permanent position with a probationary period of six months.

Main duties and responsibilities
Training Development
- To support the Lifelites trainer with the design and development of Lifelites’ high quality installation and ongoing learning and development programmes
- To assist in producing bespoke training itineraries, handouts and user guides for installation and ongoing training sessions aligned to Lifelites technology installation schedule
- To support the development and implementation of Lifelites e-learning platform, including course modules and interactive learning
- To assist in creating and publishing simple, intuitive and accessible user guides on Lifelites’ Learning Hub
- To work with the Head of Services, Trainer and Lifelites technology service provider to identify and evaluate new assistive technology solutions suitable for implementation within children’s palliative care settings

- To deliver ad hoc face to face training, super user and showcase training sessions for Lifelites staff and other partners as required
- To deliver training for new services supported through the Lifelites 25 Programme.
Co-ordination and monitoring
- To work with the Trainer to respond to queries and training requests and schedule installation and ongoing training sessions for children’s palliative care partners
- To capture and record training monitoring data, contributing to internal and external communications, evaluation and reporting processes
- To represent Lifelites within children’s palliative care settings and forums, providing feedback for Lifelites’ staff on emerging issues as required

About the role
