We are looking for an experienced Community Fundraiser, to be responsible for wider community income generation projects as well as lead on the marketing function within Age UK Sutton.  This is an exciting new role within our organisation and an opportunity to help shape the future of a key local charity.

The Production Officer will play a crucial role in managing workflow into the Creative, Digital and Comms teams, and coordinating creative projects.

They will be the ultimate super user of our production management tool, Hive. They will set up projects on the system, ensure the smooth running of the system day-to-day, and help trouble shoot any issues that arise. The role will also help ensure that users internally are trained and confident in using the platform.

The Production Officer will also coordinate creative projects, to ensure they are delivered smoothly and on time, as well as supporting with the management of our content and photography library.

Main duties and responsibilities of the role:

· Support with the day-to-day management of the production tool, Hive. This will include setting up projects, ensuring teams are assigned, keeping the platform up-to-date, and carrying out other administrative tasks crucial for the smooth running of Hive.

· Liaise with Hive to troubleshoot any issues and stay up to date with new features on the platform.

· Be a Hive super champion across the organisation, delivering Hive inductions for new starters.

· Build and maintain strong relationships across the organisation, supporting teams to brief in work to Brand, Comms and Digital.

· Support the Creative team with the production of projects, including setting timelines, managing workflow and coordinating sign-off.

· Supporting with the management of the content and photography library, ensuring that photographs are correctly uploaded and tagged, with correct consent and removed from the system on the expiry date.

· Carry out additional directorate-wide responsibilities to support the smooth running of the directorate, for example, support with workshops and planning days.

What we are looking for:

· Experience of using a production management tool in a creative or communications environment.

· Excellent experience of coordinating projects, including managing and briefing meetings, setting timelines, and coordinating sign-off.

· Experience of bringing multi-skilled teams together to deliver tasks.

· Good understanding of creative, communications and/or digital processes.

· Experience of managing relationships with external suppliers.

· Agile and flexible, understanding that priorities may change at short notice.

· Ability to work at pace, delivering multiple projects to meet specified deadlines.

Additional Information:

Ways of working:  As part of our Agile ways of working you will be required to work approximately 2 days a week from the office, which is subject to the requirements of the role and the business needs. Flexibility on where you work can be split between working from home and our office.

Fundraising Officer

We are looking for a Fundraising Officer to join this charitable programme based on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus with a mission of working in partnership to improve healthcare globally.

Position: Fundraising Officer

Independent Age is the national charity focused on improving the lives of people facing financial hardship in later life. We believe no one should face financial hardship in later life.

The Campaigns Manager plays a key role in developing and delivering campaign activity to improve the systems that older people rely on. Job Title: Campaign Manager - Better Business Act

Why this role?

In this role you would be responsible for driving forward the Better Business Act campaign, building relationships with stakeholders who could help us achieve this critical change and using learning from the campaign to contribute to the strategic design and development of B Lab UK’s policy and public affairs work.

In this role you will:

• Campaign Development & Management: Lead and execute the Better Business Act (BBA) campaign, set KPIs, track progress, and ensure alignment with B Lab UK’s policy strategy. Oversee BBA communications, manage relationships with spokespeople, and ensure Justice, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (JEDI) principles are embedded.

• Technical Specialist & Relationship Management: Advise senior stakeholders on the BBA, represent it at events, build support among business and policy groups, and manage an events program to advance advocacy.

• Team Management: Line manages the Campaign & Events Coordinator and Public Affairs Officer, providing coaching and ensuring alignment across teams for effective collaboration.

To raise voluntary income from a range of Grantmakers including Trusts, Foundations and local Government grant funders contributing to an overall team target of £1-million. Working effectively within the team unit and across the organisation you will meet individual targets through building excellent relationships with funders, leading to more young people reached by Eikon’s services.

Responsibilities:

Income generation

· Raise voluntary unrestricted and restricted income through submission of high-quality proposals (60% of time)

· Lead on developing the portfolio of funders, joining external networks, seeking out leads from internal staff/ trustees and developing intelligence on potential funders.

· Provide support as requested for significant strategic opportunities to support the Grants & Partnerships Lead.

· Develop an effective approach for raising unrestricting income.

· Work to agreed metrices including an annual target of £120,000-£150,000/year (exact target will be dependent on working hours agreed and level of experience), a set number of bids and reports submitted monthly, number of multi-year commitments and lifetime value of grants (to be agreed).

Target Audience:

Portfolio to include Surrey and Regional based funders including trusts, foundations and local government grant funders. Some of these will be existing, and some to be identified.

Account Management:

· Provide excellent account management to grant funders.

· Optimise funding potential and retention of funders through quality and timely reports, regular communication including meetings, and through building excellent relationships.

· Thinking creatively, working with colleagues organise own events/opportunities to increase engagement of funders e.g. project visit, garden open day

· Identify other funding opportunities through relationships, for example for Major Donors, Corporate partnerships and Individual Givers.

· Lead on administration for all designated grants including thank you letters, updating Donorfy and sharing info/updates across the team (comprising approximately 15% of the time).

Internal Reporting:

· Manage accurate and up to date pipeline information on Donorfy, being able to pull reports for information and analysis including:

o Provision of data and narrative for monthly team meetings

o Contribution to Board reporting with narrative and pipeline information

o Analysis for annual planning sessions

Quality and standards:

· Ensure all staff and volunteers understand and deliver within Eikon’s safeguarding policies and practices when taking part in fundraising activities.

· Ensure all activities follow the relevant Fundraising Codes of Practice and Eikon’s Ethical Fundraising Policy.

· Prepare relevant Grant Agreements and contractual information.

· Carry out risk assessments for all activities for which you are responsible.

· Carry out required basic due diligence on new funders.

Finance and resources:

· Operate within organisational approved budgets, policies and procedures.

Communications and relationships:

· Support and liaise with the Marketing Communications Coordinator to deliver relevant and effective content and materials.

· Proactively increase social media activity through provision of content and encouragement of funders to engage.

Strategy/transformation work:

· Contribute to Engagement and Services Team’s annual plans and budgets and the Grants high level strategy.

· Provide coordination and organisation of internal team planning meetings and workshop, including timings, agenda items and preparation of meeting/workshop materials.

Organisational requirements:

· Work within Eikon’s equal opportunities, health & safety, and safeguarding policies at all times

· Working hybrid, with the New Haw office as the designated place of work. Expectation to be office based 1-2 days per week with availability to attend regular external meetings across Surrey. Some may fall outside working hours and on weekends

· Work co-operatively and under the management of The Eikon Charity staff to ensure the highest quality of delivery and support

· Work within Eikon’s internal policies, safeguarding and data protection regulations

Your Role

As the Philanthropy and Relationships Lead, you will:

Strategic Leadership

• Develop and execute a measurable plan for philanthropic growth based on key insights from our recent major donor evaluation.

Prospecting and Outreach

• Develop and implement a structured approach to identifying new donor prospects, including mid-level and major donors.
• Work with the Events Manager to design and execute cultivation events, creating opportunities for meaningful engagement.
• Establish a mid-level giving strategy and maintain a dynamic caseload of potential donors.

Financial and Budget Management

• Set and achieve income targets, using our CRM (Donorfy) to track progress and manage the donor pipeline.
• Develop accurate financial projections and maintain a balanced approach between ambition and realism.

Tailored Communications

• Create compelling cases for support and personalized impact reports, showcasing how donations make a difference.
• Craft thoughtful, donor-centric communications that resonate with supporters’ motivations.

About You

We’re looking for a motivated relationship manager with:

• Proven success in building and sustaining high-value donor relationships, resulting in significant financial support.
• Demonstrable experience in pipeline management, including identifying prospects and generating new financial gifts.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Confidence in using CRM systems to efficiently manage relationships and forecast income.
• A strategic mindset with a proven ability to develop and deliver tailored cultivation plans.
• Genuine passion for supporting children and young people with SEND, with insight into the policy landscape affecting them.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders, including CEOs and trustees, to secure support.

Turn2us is a national charity tackling financial insecurity and its structural causes. We work with co-producers and partners to provide people in financial crisis with the means and agency to get back on their feet, build resilience, move forward with their lives and thrive.

Turn2us and its partners have secured £1.5 million from The National Lottery Community Fund to deliver an ambitious and innovative new programme that will support charities in England and Scotland to empower diverse and marginalised communities to respond to climate change and to get their voices heard in environmental policy and media debates.It will focus on Disabled people, those facing financial insecurity and people from ethnic minority communities. These voices are often the least heard from in national and local debates on our environment. This new work aims to change that.

As part of this programme, The National Lottery Community Fund have funded the creation of an Engagement Manager post at Turn2us to work with those facing financial insecurity. The Engagement Manager employed by Turn2us will deliver activity with smaller charities and grassroots organisations supporting those facing financial insecurity that:

• Increases awareness of the impact of environmental change and related policy on different communities 
• Listens to people in these communities to find out what actions they want charities and local government to take
• Develops shared local environmental policy priorities and empowers these organisations to advocate directly to local and national policy makers
• Identifies actions that these organisations can take to support communities to respond to climate change, and helps organisations to implement them
• Identifies people with lived experience to receive hands on training in order to act as diverse champions to media and policy makers

They will work closely with Community Engagement Managers employed by Disability Rights UK, and Race Equality Foundation, focussed on reaching organisations supporting Disabled people and people from ethnic minority communities. 

We offer flexible working patterns, both in terms of hours and remote working. Please note that all employees are required to work from the office a minimum of 4 days a month on a weekly basis.
