Main Areas of Responsibility
Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring that the financial transactions of the organisation are administered in most efficient and effective way
- Monthly accounts preparation, ensuring individual and consolidated monthly account and forecasting information is available to internal stakeholders
- Ensuring that purchasing administration from point of order through to payment is administered
- Ensuring all income is administered effectively.
- Ensuring accurate financial records are maintained with effective and timely reconciliations across General Ledgers, sub-ledgers, bank and inter-company accounts
- Payroll, ensuring payments made in line with Service Levels and that effective controls/reconciliations are maintained
- Maintaining a high level of data quality to ensure maximum effectiveness of end-to-end processing
- Driving efficiencies and effectiveness of the team, processes, data, and systems to enable improvements in the timeliness of robust financial information
- Developing and leading an efficient and motivated team to delivery of accurate and value adding financial information

Qualifications & Experience
We would like to hear from you if you have:
- Proven experience of the provision of monthly accounts in an effective and timely manner
- Experience of running and driving improvements within an Operational Finance Function, specifically delivery of effective Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable disciplines
- A track record of managing and developing high performing finance teams
- Experience of Oracle Fusion or similar complex financial systems, e.g. SAP

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Income Generation & Fundraising
- Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy aligned with GISF’s 2025-2030 strategy.
- Identify and secure funding from government donors and other sources to build a robust opportunity pipeline that supports GISF’s initiatives.
- Work closely with the Finance team to set income targets, and with the Communications team to create impactful campaigns for diverse supporter engagement.
Partnership Development
- Establish and maintain relationships with existing and potential government donors (including from the Global South), philanthropies and trusts.
- Identify organisations for potential partnerships or consortia to win and deliver grants
- Develop a framework for corporate partners to engage with GISF and our members, that brings in secondary revenue and creates opportunities for positive interactions between members and corporate partners with services relevant to NGO SRM.
Proposal Development & Co-creation
- Identify relevant donor grant/contract opportunities, draft compelling proposals, and ensure timely submission of all related documentation.
- Collaborate with donors, GISF staff and GISF member organisations to co-create and promote solutions that address specific needs and align with GISF’s mission.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of NGO SRM principles and issues
Grant Management
- Supervise the Grants Officer, ensuring effective handling of current GISF grants and contracts.
- Ensure systems are in place to efficiently transition from winning new funding to programme implementation

Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
- Represent GISF at networking events and conferences to increase visibility and establish strategic alliances.

Main duties include:
¨ Be an effective manager, line managing our Volunteer, Community Outreach and Marketing and Communications teams.

The Individual Giving department is part of the Fundraising and Marketing directorate and brings in approximately £88m per annum through regular giving, one off gifts, prize-led fundraising, community and events and legacy and in memory. About us at the NCT
A lot of people know NCT for our antenatal classes, and we want to continue to support as many parents and families as we can to access evidence-based information. But we are also much more than this. We are a charity that campaigns on the issues that matter to parents. We run breastfeeding and infant feeding support, provided by specialist counsellors. We run thousands of free community activities and events across the UK, led by our fantastic volunteers and peers. And we support women and families facing specific challenges, such as social isolation, feeding difficulties or poor mental health.
Our Hackney Parent Support project is commissioned by Hackney Council, to offer infant feeding support across the region in both community and hospital settings and parenting courses for families throughout the Hackney region. The support is delivered by staff and volunteer peer supporters.
We are seeking a capable Service Engagement Lead to manage, coordinate and support both the Infant feeding and Parenting course projects. This role is split between being out in the community and working from home, it will include regular travel across the Hackney borough (expenses will be reimbursed).
About the Role
Working closely with the Hackney Parent Support team, you will be responsible for the service engagement and promotion of our community-based services across Hackney. Some of the key responsibilities of the role include:
· Line managing the paid peer supporters within the Hackney staff team.
· Coordinating and maintaining the active social media and Infant Feeding Services website.
· Advertising volunteering opportunities across varying platforms including social media and in person at local events.
· Provide clear guidance and information to potential volunteers on the roles, responsibilities and training requirements.
· Having a good working knowledge and understanding of the local demographics in the Hackney area and ensuring all support groups are accessible and inclusive.
· Ensure that data collection and feedback is collected in a timely manner in an inclusive way.
· Coordinate and deliver the Breast Pump Hire Service across the Borough.
· Build and maintain relationships with local organisations and the children’s and family hubs
You must have good communication skills and be able to build relationships and create a rapport with a wide range of people easily. This is a large project and covers multiple locations so you must be able to confidently prioritise your own work, be highly organised and able to work independently.
Being able to make decisions and respond appropriately to our staff, peer supporters and parents and other external stakeholders is essential, alongside good IT skills– including Outlook, Word and Excel – and you must have good attention to detail.
It is essential for this post that you undertake the training to become an NCT Breastfeeding Peer Supporter. This requires experience of giving breastmilk. The training can be undertaken within your working hours. There will also be training on the EPEC (Empowering Parents, Empowering Communities course) provided by South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust.

Purpose
This is an exciting time at CBM UK, as we continue to grow and develop our philanthropic
fundraising. To help us achieve our ambitious long-term goals this role requires an
experienced and passionate individual to be part of our Philanthropy Team.
This vital role will lead the programme to build and grow our relationships with High-Net-
Worth Individuals (Major Donors) over the next five years and beyond. Working alongside

Responsibilities and areas of work
This important role will seek to develop our Major Donor income stream, seeking to grow
both numbers of donors and income raised. At CBM, a Major Donor is considered to be
one who has the capacity to give £5,000+ per year and who relishes the opportunity to
have one-to-one, personalised interactions with CBM.
This role will seek to identify new high-level donors, as well as help to develop existing
relationships with our generous supporters.
Working closely with the Head of Philanthropy, CEO and Leadership Team, other team
members and (occasionally) external consultants, this role focusses on building and
consolidating our major donor portfolio, so increasing our donor base and thus our in-year
and pledged income.
Main Goal:
To successfully steward a portfolio of new and existing major donors through tailored
approaches, so securing repeat and multi-year gifts to achieve agreed income targets and
KPIs.
This will be achieved through:
1. New business acquisition:
a) Analysing our current supporter base to build a prospect list, using our database
(Salesforce) and external databases, to assess the potential to upgrade active,
lapsed and prospective major donors.
b) Researching, identifying and securing major donor prospects, through the
identification of high-net-worth individuals who may have an interest in CBM’s work,
and through proactive and effective networking, including working with our Trustees,
Patrons and Ambassadors.
c) Identifying next steps and determining tactics for engagement, including 1:1
working, giving group presentations and delivering pitches at various levels, and
leading on their facilitation.
d) Attending networking opportunities in Cambridge, London and the surrounding
areas to represent CBM and to engage potential major donors in our work
2. Stewardship and cultivation of current and active donors:
a) Developing and implementing tailored cultivation and stewardship plans, so that
individuals are engaged in a bespoke manner, ensuring that they feel a part of CBM
and that their generosity is recognised, through regular reporting, interactions,
updates and tailored approaches.
b) Developing donor-centric applications, proposals and initial approaches (by post,
email, phone and face-to-face) that are driven by insight on donors’ individual needs
and preferences and are tailored to their interests and requirements, following up as
required.
c) Reporting to donors in both formal and informal ways, as appropriate, to ensure
they are kept up to date with CBM, the impact of their grant and project
developments.
d) Hosting and facilitating face-to-face and online meetings with high-level donors,
including organising dates, venues and agendas/ talking points, and creating
Meeting Briefs for all attendees to ensure positive outcomes as far as possible.
e) Promoting the importance of legacies, and legacy income, where appropriate, and
to steward those who have pledged.
f) Organising and managing the successful delivery of at least one Major Donor Event
annually (cultivation, stewardship, thanking etc), to ensure positive relations and
potential new business, in collaboration with our Fundraising and Programme
colleagues.
g) Supporting the Head of Philanthropy and the Philanthropy Officer on the
identification, stewardship and cultivation of potential corporate partners.
3. Proposal and Report Writing
a) Crafting compelling proposals and reports that meet the bespoke needs of major
donors whilst meeting the needs of CBM and our Programme delivery colleagues,
within agreed deadlines.
b) Working with members of the Programmes Team to ensure the accuracy of major
donor proposals / reports, and with members of the Fundraising & Communications
Team to ensure consistency of messaging.
c) Working with the Philanthropy Team to develop new projects/ themes/ appeals for
potential projects.
d) Supporting the Head of Philanthropy on collating information and providing reports
to Foundation donors as needed.
4. Planning and Budgeting
a) Contributing to the development of an Income Generation and Engagement
strategy, led by the Director of Fundraising, Impact & Communications.
b) Closely monitoring income and expenditure, reporting to the Head of Philanthropy
where necessary, and contributing to the creation of yearly fundraising budgets and
plans and quarterly Board Reports.
c) Establishing, monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators, milestones
and targets to facilitate informed decisions and improved working practice.

a) Ensuring all information, donor activity is recorded and kept up-to-date on our
database to fully-inform any approaches/meetings.

We are looking for a full-time Community Organiser to organise first-generation migrants in the UK towards migrant justice by supporting community members to organise events and participate in campaign activities. The work will connect across 3 streams: voter registration; advocacy & campaigns; and political empowerment.
Whether it’s engaging migrants at a voter registration stall, supporting migrant leaders to develop activities in their own communities, or sharing stories for the campaign for votes for all - the lived experience of first generation migrants is at the heart of all our activities.
We are looking for a proactive Community Organiser who is passionate about migrants’ rights and democracy to start working as soon as possible.

The Membership Engagement Officer is an exciting and varied role at the College as you will be responsible for increasing engagement with members and enhancing the member experience, whilst driving engagement initiatives and increasing member retention.

With a good level of education, perhaps to degree level or with equivalent experience in communications, marketing or a related field, you will have proven experience in member engagement, communications or a customer relations role.
You should have a background in delivering member-focused communications and events and be adept at using two-way channels for engagement, whilst also having experience of successfully implementing process improvement to improve the member experience. Practical knowledge and experience of updating and managing CRM and similar systems as well as effectively using data to identify trends is essential.
Your strong understanding of what good engagement and customer service looks like and how to deliver this, combined with your knowledge of how to maximise our reach across social media channels to target audiences will ensure you are able to make sound judgments and understand what makes engaging and relevant content for the audience.
You should also have excellent written and oral communication skills and be able to communicate to a wide variety of audiences, whilst being capable of building strong relationships with stakeholders and working collaboratively with stakeholders and colleagues towards a common goal.
Experience of working within a charity in an addition to an awareness of fundraising, would be desirable.
