Working closely with the Head of Innovation and Assessment and our grant and venture teams, you will help ensure that Ufi is informed about and is applying new technologies to deliver Ufi’s grant funding and partnership activities.

With colleagues and external partners, you will help co-ordinate grant calls, administer the VocTech Ignite programme and become a source of internal expertise on the potential of new technologies. You will be working with colleagues across Ufi to support the early stages of the grant and support pipeline, including assessment and the VocTech Ignite programme. This will require engagement with the Ufi pool of expert support and the Ufi assessors, ensuring that the right match of skills can support each grant cohort. In addition, you will be bringing your enthusiasm for technology, particularly the technology that supports learning and skills, to the wider team and helping to strengthen the in-team expertise.

This is a responsible, fast-paced role. Creativity and enthusiasm supported by practical delivery skills are essential.

The Health and Social Care Act 2012 required each local authority area to set up a Healthwatch organisation. Healthwatch gives people a powerful voice both locally and nationally. At a local level, Healthwatch Barnet works to help people get the best from their health and social care services, whether it's improving them today, or helping to shape them for tomorrow. Healthwatch Barnet is about local voices being able to influence the delivery and design of their services, not just for the people who use them, but anyone who might need to use them in future.

Healthwatch Barnet transferred to Inclusion Barnet on 1st April 2020. It is commissioned by the London Borough of Barnet to provide the following 6 key functions:

· Gather views and understand the experiences of patients and the public

· Make people’s views known

· Promote and support the involvement of people in the commissioning and provision of local care services and how they are scrutinised

We’re open to consultant suggestions regarding what shape this work might take. But to give an idea, we would be looking for things like:

• Horizon scanning to identify income generation opportunities 

• Cultivating relationships with potential customers and funders 

• Research about short-term income generation opportunities (3-6 months) 

• Testing value propositions with target audiences 

• Recommendations of where we should be focussing our income generation efforts and targets for each income stream 

• A generic case for support, which can be repurposed for a variety of funders.

• Facilitation of workshops with staff members and potentially board members to surface existing ideas to generate income and barriers to implementation 

Skills and experience 

Essential 

• Experience developing effective income generation strategies for social enterprises and charities, particularly as part of wider organisational strategy development and/or review 

• Strong charitable and/or commercial bid writing skills 

• Significant experience in successfully generating income from a variety of sources for social enterprises and/or charities

Birmingham Programme Development

• Working closely with the Programme Director and the Programme Team, lead the translation of People’s Economy’s strategy into a programme of work in Birmingham
• Working closely with the Programme Director and the Programme Team, identify the resources People’s Economy needs to deliver its strategy in Birmingham and contribute to fundraising for the organisation’s programme of work in Birmingham
• Working closely with Programme Director lead outreach and relationship building with community and civil society partners, including members of the Economic Justice Brum

The Individual Giving Team have seen incredible growth over the last five years and we are excited to build on this with ambitious goals for where we see the programme in 2030 and beyond.  Stewardship is a vital part of this ambition. We plan to recruit record numbers of supporters in the coming years and the stewardship team is essential for engaging these supporters and encouraging them to support us long term.

Within this role you will create inspiring supporter journeys for new and existing supporters using a variety of channels including direct mail, email, telephone and SMS. You will use this content to create engaging communications which bring supporters closer to our work, making them feel excited about supporting Alzheimer’s Society.

To deliver money and energy advice service for kidney patients struggling with their energy and water bills and other costs of living challenges. You will provide subject matter expert support within our Patient Support Services team, and will work closely with our Patient Support & Advocacy Officers to develop and grow this service in your area.

Summary
To raise awareness of the service and build strong relationships with kidney patients, professionals, and other kidney stakeholder groups in your defined geographic region.

Key responsibilities
• With support, establish the Kidney Care UK Money & Energy Advice Service in the region for patients and carers at risk of fuel poverty to access independent support on money and energy matters
• Responsible for the day-to-day delivery of the Money & Energy Advice Service across the region, effectively managing an ongoing caseload
• Provide practical advice to patients, assessing their needs and identifying sources of support to resolve financial, practical and psychosocial challenges.

• Activities will include creating budget plans, completing income maximisation checks and benefit claims, carrying out switching exercises and Home Energy Surveys (this is not an exclusive list of tasks)
• Responsible for identifying cases where FSA approved advice is required, and supporting patients in the referral of their case to our approved partner organisation or other appropriate regional/national services

• Maintain records on the Kidney Care UK database to support service delivery and communications with patients, and facility effective reporting to Kidney Care UK and our funders
• Raise awareness of Kidney Care UK and the benefit of its full range of Patient Support Services amongst kidney patients, their families, carers and professionals across the region
• Provide insight on patients’ concerns and unmet needs to inform Kidney Care UK research, campaigns, and new service development activity
• Work in a way that respects the personal, social, cultural and spiritual needs of the individual and maintains the confidentiality of information they may have shared with you

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enhance our organisation’s brand visibility, media presence, and digital outreach efforts. Community and Challenge Events Fundraiser

We are looking for a Community and Challenge Events Fundraiser to create and deliver an engaging programme of mass participation and community fundraising activities to meet agreed, ambitious targets, enhancing the support base and driving income.

Position: Community and Challenge Events Fundraising Executive

Location: Hybrid working – at least two days a week at the office in Amersham, Buckinghamshire

Hours: Full-Time (35 hours, 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday)

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £27,000-£30,000 per annum

About the Role

You will be pivotal in building relationships with individual supporters and community groups to increase awareness and raise vital funds for the charity.

About You

You will have experience of achieving financial targets through fundraising activities, ideally in mass participation events and community fundraising.

You will also have experience of:

· Relationship Management: Demonstrable experience in building and nurturing strong relationships with individual supporters and community groups to drive engagement and income.

· Identifying, establishing, and retaining new supporters, with a focus on effective supporter care and stewardship.

· Digital Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of CRM systems and relevant digital platforms to manage supporter data, track engagement, and enhance communication strategies.

· Using digital tools to streamline processes and optimise fundraising outcomes.
