The purpose of the role is to plan and deliver strategically the fundraising required for the ongoing success of NCO, enabling this important national music organisation to develop and deliver its mission.

Main Responsibilities 

Strategy and Planning

Working with the Chief Executive and Development and Communications Committee to set and lead on the development of NCO’s development strategy, setting fundraising targets in line with strategic objectives.

Oversee all fundraising activity and report to the Chief Executive, NCO Board and Finance Committee on progress towards income targets.

As a member of the Senior Management Team, represent the Development function to ensure full account is taken of development potential whilst contributing towards the leadership and strategic direction of NCO.

Individual Giving

Lead on re-establishing NCO’s Individual Giving programme, drawing on the potential pipeline of current stakeholders (eg parents and alumni) and delegating to/working with the Development Team in its successful delivery.

Lead on new mid/major donor giving and relationships including legacies, personally managing a portfolio of prospects and donors.

Support the Development team to lead in the delivery of NCO’s annual giving programmes, ie Friends and Patrons.

Lead on individual campaigns, working collaboratively with the Development team to maximise opportunities to engage with new supporters through events and matched funding initiatives (eg The Big Give).

Work with the Chief Executive and other senior staff to ensure the continued engagement and support of the NCO Board.

Trusts and Foundations

Lead on fundraising from Trusts & Foundations and other grant giving bodies (excluding statutory funding).

Research and cultivate existing and new funders, working with the Chief Executive, Board and the Development Team to initiate new partnerships and maintaining systems to ensure that those partnerships are successfully managed and sustained.

Prepare compelling major grant applications to secure new funding with sound attention to detail, and work with colleagues by leading and advising on other vital grant applications undertaken by members of the Development team, sharing best practice in fundraising to develop the organisation’s skills.

As part of the Development team, provide appropriate and timely monitoring information to trusts and foundations, as required by their conditions of support including, where appropriate, organising events and visits.

Corporate Fundraising

Lead the Development team on stewarding existing and cultivating new corporate sponsors and ensuring benefits and recognition are delivered across NCO’s marketing channels.

Statutory Funding

Support the Chief Executive and wider team to ensure that NCO fulfils its quarterly and annual reporting requirements to Arts Council England and the Department for Education and in the creation of new funding applications including as part of the next ACE Investment Review.

(NB: The day to day management and reporting requirements of NCO’s NPO and DfE grants will be managed by a newly appointed Business Administrator and overseen by the Chief Executive).

Organisation and Management

Line manage NCO’s Development Manager through individual objective setting and performance management, regular 1:1 meetings and identification of training needs.

Empower the Development team by ensuring they have regular opportunities to develop their skills and experience across different areas of fundraising and through training whilst supporting them wholeheartedly in their professional development.

Inspire and lead the Development team, and set an example, on the application, implementation and adherence to all NCO policies and procedures.

Support the Development team to lead on the development of NCO’s CRM System (Beacon) in specific relation to its fundraising functions, in line with the Data Protection Act.

Maximise the potential of Gift Aid from all donations, supporting the Development team to ensure all donations and payments received are appropriately logged, accompanied by appropriate paperwork and in line with annual audit requirements and submitted in a timely manner.

Produce Development reports for quarterly Board and Finance Committee meetings, attending online and in person as required.

Undertake research and maintain a high level of knowledge about trusts, foundations, individuals, and statutory funding to inform planning.

Represent NCO at conferences undertaking public and media presentations, attending conferences and events and lobbying forums as appropriate

As Membership Coordinator, you will work closely with our small team to support all aspects of EIDA membership, ensuring that members are provided with the tools and support they need to respond to domestic abuse within their organisation.

You will support the team to develop EIDA’s membership of UK employers at all levels, from engaging smaller members (who join EIDA for free) to large corporate organisations who join as paying members at the level of Strategic Partner or Beacon member.

You will play an integral role in building the sustainability of the organisation and expanding our reach to many more UK employers, engaging with our members and creating and sharing tools and good practice to achieve our vision of every employer taking effective action on domestic abuse.

TERMS OF APPOINTMENT

Salary: £28,000 to £32,000 FTE

Contract: Fixed term for 2 years

Hours: Full time (37.5 hours). We are happy to consider flexible working arrangements

MAIN TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Membership engagement

• Manage and build relationships with prospective, new and existing EIDA members.
• Manage the member experience, including responding to queries from prospective and existing members, acknowledging receipt of new member forms and overseeing follow up contact with new and existing members.
• Identify key trends, gaps and topics, as well as opportunities for cross-pollination and member introductions.
• Support the Head of Membership & Engagement to respond to EIDA’s Beacon and Strategic Partner members, assessing their needs and generating plans to improve their membership experience.
• Support the planning and implementation of EIDA events, including coordinating and delivering EIDA’s Lunch and Learn sessions with members.
• Working with the Communications and Engagement Coordinator, ensure the membership receive regular, up to date, engaging information on domestic abuse as it relates to employers, including via newsletters, social media and ensuring the website is up to date.

Membership growth

• Drive membership growth; proactively identify and develop projects for member recruitment, promoting EIDA to prospective and lapsed members.
• Develop opportunities to widen our membership market for example through industry-based forums, groups, conferences and fairs, trade unions, health & wellbeing and diversity & inclusion communities.

Partnership development

• Develop a good understanding of the national and regional landscape of domestic abuse support available to employers, to signpost members effectively to appropriate partners.
• Formalise partnerships with new and existing members, including conducting due diligence and putting in place partnership agreements.
• Attend events to develop new contacts and seek new opportunities for EIDA to engage in.

Data and systems

• Oversee membership information on EIDA’s database, generating reports on interactions and statistics.
• Perform membership analysis and reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain routine data cleansing, to ensure member and partner data is accurate, complete and up to date, ensuring all data is handled in line with GDPR.
• Support the team to keep accurate membership engagement records on the CRM system.

Other duties

• Participate in training, regular supervision and appraisals.
• Collaborate on special projects as needed.
• Carry out general administrative duties as required to support the running of the charity 

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

Essential

• Good academic performance in English and Maths
• An understanding of domestic abuse including key policies and legislation
• Good understanding of best practice in relation to data protection
• At least three years’ work experience in a client/customer-facing role
• Experience using CRM databases
• Demonstrable success in engaging new members/clients/customers
• Experience of managing relationships and partnerships

Desirable

• Knowledge of employer best practice in relation to domestic abuse
• In depth knowledge of GDPR
• Knowledge of best practice in relation to managing membership networks
• Experience of designing, managing and maintaining CRM databases.

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for Advocates to join our team covering Fife and the surrounding area. You will be involved in one-to-one advocacy along with group work across the area; this could be in a clients’ home, hospital, care homes or other suitable community venues and be home based for administrative tasks.  Therefore, access to your own transportation and a suitable home internet connection is essential. 

This is a full time role for 35 hours per week, applicants who do not hold the Level 2 Award in Independent Advocacy will start on £22,500 per annum.

 Providing clarity to the MDT and people on their lists as to how different areas of their need are being addressed by the other provisions they are engaged with

Provide continuity and reassurance to the people on case load

Build resilience in the people on caseload and ensure themes are fed back into design, delivery, and the development of services

Provide feedback to the PCN team and upwards about the gaps in service provision as illustrated by the people they are working with

referrals should be done within 28 days of the mental health need being identified in line with guidance offered by the PCN

What does good look like for this role?

Goals will be agreed upon with you in collaboration with your line manager at Aston-Mansfield and with our lead partners Community Links MIND and ELFT The successful management of your respective caseload – strong initial assessment, action planning and goal setting, networking with relevant stakeholders, and active, engaging patients both face to face and remotely will be critical aspects of the role. Working with multiple agencies collaboratively that promotes patient welfare and outcomes whilst sharing learning and impact is essential in the role's success, as is inquisitiveness and confidence in the approach. Induction and training will be provided for this role.

Supporter Development Officer

We have an excellent opportunity for a Supporter Development Officer to join our busy Supporter Development team.

The Role

We have an excellent opportunity for 2 proactive and professional team players with outstanding communication, decision-making making and interpersonal skills and a strong customer service ethic to join our busy Supporter Development team who cover several areas including raffles, lottery, membership, regular giving, reactivation, consent management, gift aid and cash giving.

As Supporter Development Officer, you will deliver campaigns and activities for the Supporter Development side of the Individual Giving team, successfully managing the supporter development activity in line with the agreed annual targets and the Fundraising Strategy. Working with the Senior Supporter Development Officers, teams across the organisation and the wider Income Generation Department you will deliver the supporter development roadmap, continuously monitoring performance and making improvement recommendations.

Your principal duties and responsibilities will include:

• Managing integrated donor journeys on channels such as online, post and social, with a donor centric approach.
• Inputting into and delivering the Fundraising Strategy within the Supporter Development Team.
• Working within the Supporter Development Team to deliver a donor centric lifetime value optimised approach.
• Report on the targets and KPIs of campaign activity.
• Applying a test and learn strategy for supporter journeys, and sharing learnings with the Supporter Development Team, upskilling team knowledge and experience within key areas of delivery.
• Project managing campaigns and activity including expenditure budgets.
• Working closely and in partnership with The Donkey Sanctuary’s external agencies to deliver campaign activity.

Job Summary:

The Head of Product is a new role within Anthony Nolan, with the objective of leading product management activity through business analysis by ways of leadership. Development is run through an iterative and agile approach, transforming manual and complex processes to optimize the way we work. Another key part of this position will be playing a role in strategic decision making within the Technology divisions leadership team, and collaborating with the leadership team on divisional direction, as well as working closely to key internal stakeholders outside of the division.

Key Responsibilities:

These include but are not limited to:
• Develop and communicate product strategy: Define and articulate a
product and business analysis vision and strategy that aligns with Anthony
Nolan’s mission and strategic goals, ensuring all products contribute

problem statements using product management and business analysis

Marketing, Fundraising, Technology, Research, Finance and People) and
external stakeholders (transplant centres, World Marrow Donor
Association, clinicians, partners etc.) to gather insights, validate
requirements, and ensure digital products align with overall organisational
goals.
• Team Leadership and Development: Develop, manage, motivate and
mentor a cross-functional team of business analysts and product
managers, setting a clear team vision and fostering a collaborative and
innovative work environment.
• Digital Innovation: Keep up to date with industry and technology
innovation with a view to testing & learning where it could support
organisational objectives.
• User-Centered Analysis and Design: Lead user research initiatives to
understand the needs and pain points of end-users and stakeholders,
applying insights to design effective and accessible products.
• Data-Driven Product Management and Business Insights: Utilise data
analytics and business analysis techniques to monitor performance,
assess market trends and derive actionable insights for decision-making
and product improvements.

• Communication and Reporting: Implement and deliver regular reporting

Essential Attributes:

• A deep and varied experience of product management and business
analysis (preferably with some experience in healthcare and/or charity
sector, but not essential) in agile environments to deliver customer and
outcome-led solutions.
• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills, to build strong relationships
and a collaborative culture with colleagues and stakeholders across the
organisation to develop hypotheses, test and learn and iteratively
develop solutions to business problems.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills with stakeholders
from all levels of the organisation from team members to Strategic
Leadership Team and Board of Trustees. As a strong communicator you
will work with both internal and external stakeholders to understand and
solve problems using digital and data.
• A proven customer-centric approach, with the ability to deliver great user
experience to the cohorts of a given product portfolio, whilst balancing

patients, donors, clinicians, operations, fundraising etc.
• Experienced leading cross-functional teams, whilst also being
comfortable leading from the front by taking a more hands-on approach
when needed.
• Experienced line manager with focus on building and developing teams
and coaching and mentoring team members.
• A passion for innovation and problem solving, with a curious nature to
understand but also to challenge both the status quo and any proposed
solutions to get to the best outcome for the user and the organisation.
• Strategic mindset with demonstrated experience in implementing digital
