We are seeking a highly organised and proactive administrator.  You will play an integral part in the distribution of critical funds, and support the development new ways of working as we implement an ambitious new strategy.  You will use your excellent customer care skills to provide support directly to those applying to us for help, and work closely with the small staff team to provide meaningful change in peoples’ lives within the local community.

What you will be working on:

• Supporting the assessment of Individual Grants, under the supervision of the Individual Grants Manager.
• Answering enquiries by phone, website, email and in person. 
• Working with Grants Managers to prepare papers for grant committees, and other trustee meetings.
• Maintaining records on our grants databases, both setting up new grant records and editing existing ones. From this you will be running reports and preparing additional analysis, for quality assurance or other purposes.

Main duties of the job

What will I be doing?

Creating high-quality collateral and delivering tailored promotion for funders through our social media channels, website, CYT newsletter, and impact reports.

Day to day, you will take photos and videos at CYT events, write social media posts, write case studies and success stories, support the organisation and delivery of internal and external events – all with the aim of increasing engagement with key CYT funders and in-kind supporters.

What knowledge and experience are we looking for?

· Experience of creating engaging visual media including photography and videography etc.

· Experience in digital communications and confidence with managing social media

· Working knowledge of design software (e.g. InDesign, Canva)

Job purpose

The National New Business team are on an exciting trajectory, having recently just reshaped our team to align with the NSPCC’s strategy. We now have a fantastic opportunity to recruit a New Partnerships Manager who will specialise in acquiring Charity of the Year partnerships up to the value of £400k, while also supporting on acquisition of a larger pipeline of high profile, high value 6 - 7 figure partnerships.

You will be responsible for identifying, engaging and securing new national corporate partnerships that make sense and deliver impact. We're looking for a Community Fundraising Manager - it's a great opportunity to develop a plan and deliver a diverse portfolio of fundraising activities to engage people with our work and contribute to our income.

You will manage a team to help develop innovative fundraising products, grow our supporter base and provide exceptional supporter stewardship.

Income generation  

• Responsible for supporting the development of a 3-year community fundraising income strategy to grow income from a modest base of £125k per year to circa £275k per year.
• Implement the operational plan for community fundraising income. 
• Plan, develop and deliver new community fundraising products, campaigns and events that will resonate with stakeholders including members, donors and volunteers to fundraise. 
• Work collaboratively with Comms, Marketing & Digital teams to develop and drive forward promotion of community fundraising to reach existing and new audiences, including developing content for social channels, e-comms, webpages and fundraising packs.
• Establish a network of community fundraisers, building relationships with community fundraising ‘champions’, and providing excellent supporter care and timely communication.

Leadership, management and collaboration

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our management team at our award-winning charity, as our North Yorkshire Home from Hospital Manager

Our Home from Hospital service helps people to be more confident and comfortable when returning home from hospital by rebuilding confidence and independence and preventing hospital re-admissions.

It also supports the hospitals to achieve safe and timely hospital discharges and positively contributes to patient flow and a smooth transition home for our clients.

The position we have on offer is to manage our Home from Hospital Co-ordinators working across North Yorkshire.

This is a full-time role – 37 hours per week.

Based in either our Skipton or Harrogate office with travel to hospitals across |North Yorkshire

Salary is £32,076 – £34,684

You will be self- motivated and driven, along with experience of working across organisational boundaries and in multi-disciplinary teams, within hospital environments.

The Talent Set are delighted to be working with Ellenor to find their Lottery Manager. This role is 0.8 FTE. 

The charity offers a flexible working environment, with hybrid working 1-2 days per week from their office in Gravesend.

The person in this role will strategically lead the Hospice lottery to maximise income through developing new approaches and increasing its profile whilst ensuing full Gambling Commission compliance. The role of the Lottery Manager is twofold – working with agencies and spotting promotional opportunities to acquire and recruit new players, whilst cherishing and valuing those we already have by thanking them and keeping them informed of the difference their support makes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a strategy to ensure long term and sustainable growth of lottery income with support from the Head of Individual Giving.

• Working towards agreed KPIs and income targets for the lottery, by increasing membership and reducing attrition.

• To possess up-to-date and thorough operational familiarity with the Lottery Conditions and Codes of Practice outlined by the Gambling Commission (Gambling Act 2005) and to ensure adherence to these regulations in all work activities.

• To manage the lottery income and expenditure budgets, ensuring all activity meets income targets and expenditure remain on budget. 

• Develop our digital presence (website, social media, etc.) to source new acquisition and increase our local community’s awareness of the lottery.

• Be the main contact for the relationship with our canvassing companies, taking responsibility for the recruitment and training canvassers for the lottery, and for ensuring that our 3rd party providers deliver their KPIs in terms of recruitment numbers and attrition levels.

• Deliver the stewardship plan for our lottery players, from the point of sign up, spotting opportunities to retain and develop them further maximising the lifetime value of every supporter.

• Ensure that all communication with lottery supporters is captured through the Fundraising database CRM System (donorflex).

Person Specification: 

• Proven, long term track record of delivering successful income generation campaigns and activity in a business or charity – ideally relating to charity lotteries.

FareShare GM redistributed an amazing 1,929 tonnes of surplus food to 306 community groups, supplying 4.6 million meals to those in need in 2023/24.  Working with FareShare UK, we help unlock good food from a wide variety of national and local food suppliers, food that otherwise would have gone in the bin.  We support diverse groups including those catering to the elderly, young families, the BAME community, disabled individuals and those facing homelessness or other forms of poverty.

It’s a busy operation with a lot of moving parts: you’ll take ownership for the smooth running of the Allocations office, supervising the distribution of surplus food to our Community Food Members.   By working closely with the Warehouse team and drivers, you’ll help ensure the timely, accurate and food safe compliant deliveries and collections, optimising our income whilst minimising food waste.

Southmead Hospital Charity is looking for an experienced Individual Giving and Corporate Partnerships Manager to build on already successful programmes, with enough scope and flexibility to take them to the next level. 

This is an exciting time to work for an official NHS charity. We've got ambitious plans to grow our income and impact over the next 12 months, including launching a new fundraising appeal to support victims of stroke and neurological injuries.
