The Helen Bamber Foundation (HBF) is a specialist UK charity which provides expert care and support for refugees and people seeking asylum who have experienced extreme human cruelty such as torture or human trafficking. We work with hundreds of clients every year from all over the world. HBF delivers a specialist Model of Integrated Care that addresses the complex needs and vulnerabilities of survivors. Through the Model of Integrated Care, the HBF offers survivors access to an individually tailored programme of specialist psychological care and medical advisory services, legal protection including providing expert medico-legal documentation, welfare and housing support, and creative and skills activities within an integration programme. Where someone is a survivor of human trafficking they benefit from HBF’s counter-trafficking programme of support. The Foundation’s expertise is renowned in the field.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Client Services Team which operates within HBF’s vibrant, multi-disciplinary team. The duties of Client Services Administrator are two-fold 1) is to host our busy reception area and friendly waiting room; welcome clients and visiting professionals to the Helen Bamber Foundation and attend to any needs they might have and 2) to oversee the booking of appointments between clients and staff/volunteers across the organisation; liaising with third parties and clinicians in relation to Initial Assessments; booking and managing doctor’s diaries for our Medical Advisory Services and the booking of interpreters across the organisation. You will be at the heart of an exciting team of experts, working as the face of HBF and the first point of contact for both external and internal queries.  You will be a self-motivating team player, organised, efficient and have a compassionate mind-set.

The role will work closely with the other person in post as Client Services Administrator and jointly manage the workload. The role also includes assistance and general facilities support to the Senior Operations and HR Coordinator.

JOB TITLE: National Fundraising Manager

Job Purpose

To lead and manage regional fundraising initiatives around the UK, developing relationships with volunteers, donors, and community groups to maximise income generation and awareness. This role requires a combination of strategic oversight, operational support and hands-on engagement with volunteers and supporters across multiple regions. Ideally the National Fundraising Manager will be present at the charity’s office 1-2 days per week, with the rest of the time dedicated to travel across the UK in support of our extensive volunteer family.

Key responsibilities

Fundraising development

• Identify and cultivate new opportunities for national fundraising.

Person Specification

Experience

• 2 years minimum community fundraising experience or fast paced, target driven field sales environment with demonstrable transferrable skills.
• Experience working with, supporting, and managing volunteers, including providing guidance and fostering a positive and motivated team environment.
• Demonstrated experience in planning, coordinating, and delivering fundraising events, both small and large-scale, with a focus on community engagement.

About the role:

We are looking for a talented and ambitious individual to generate income for the Olive Tree Cancer Support Group through the development and implementation of a Trust & Foundations strategy. This will involve the planning and writing of funding bids, reporting on previous and new grants, liaising with funders and researching new funding opportunities to generate a significant level of income to agreed targets.

About you:

The ideal candidate will bring experience of successfully submitting and winning bids from Trusts and Foundations and a good understanding of fundraising targets.  You will be results-orientated, managing our Trusts and Statutory fundraising pipeline, and helping to develop our statutory income.

You will build excellent working relationships with staff at both of our centres, and on occasion work from our Horsham Site and attend some fundraising events.

One Full Time Fixed Term Funding Officer up to 31 December 2026 to be part of our Eastern Team which covers the following Council areas: Belfast, Lisburn and Castlereagh and Antrim and Newtownabbey. The Eastern Team is led by a Funding Manager and is comprised of six other Funding Officers. Your role will be to work across all of these council areas as needed to support the demands of our funding programmes. You will join a passionate and friendly team and be part of ensuring over £30m annually is delivered to support communities to make a difference locally.

Location: You will work mainly from home, and community locations in the Eastern area. The role will also involve travel to the Belfast office (on average once every week).

3. One Full Time Permanent Funding Officer to work in our Northern Ireland Dormant Assets team, led by a Funding Manager, with one other Funding Officer working exclusively on Dormant funding. It sits within the wider NI Funding team (circa 20 people), some of whom also work on Dormant programmes. Your role will be to ensure Dormant Assets funding supports a wide variety of VCSE organisations across Northern Ireland. Dormant Funds are not National Lottery money, but funds released by financial institutions.

Location: You’ll work mainly from home and community locations and  will be required to attend The National Lottery Community Fund offices in Belfast when necessary (on average one day per week).

The roles are varied and involve assessment of applications, grant management and engagement with key stakeholders. You will use your local knowledge and experience to support our assessment and decision making. By working closely with people and communities  you will understand what matters to them and where our funding can make the biggest difference. 

You will be required to:

• Assess applications across our funding programmes
• Manage your own caseload of grants which will involve liaising with grant holders, visiting projects, identifying and managing risks, and supporting organisations to deliver their projects and measure their impact.
• Understand and respond to the different needs of the community, our applicants and grant holders
• Provide advice and feedback and be willing to have challenging but constructive conversations.
• Represent the Fund by engaging with key stakeholders, including potential applicants, network support agencies, Council staff, and by attending funding fairs and external meetings.
• Share learning from your conversations, events, grant holder reports and evaluations to support the Fund in maximising our impact as a grant maker.

IPSEA is the leading charity in the field of special educational needs and disability (SEND) law in England, and we provide free and independent legal advice and support to families of children and young people with SEND. We also provide training on the SEND legal framework, and we influence policy at both a local and national level.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Trusts and Philanthropy Officer to join our small, ambitious fundraising team. IPSEA has a proven track record of successfully securing grants, and this is a new role designed to help strengthen and grow IPSEA’s income from charitable Trusts and Foundations. NRAS has an exciting opportunity for an Individual Giving Manager as we move into a period of expansion of the team and the start of our new 3 year strategy. The Individual Giving Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to grow and diversify individual giving income streams. This role will focus on managing and expanding our lottery, regular giving, cash appeals, in memory giving and raffles programs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lottery Promotion: 
   • Develop and implement strategies to increase lottery participation and income.

   • Manage relationships with external lottery providers.
