About the role
Leading the Individual Giving team, the Head of Individual Giving is also a member of the Fundraising Leadership Team (FLT).
You will directly manage the Supporter Acquisition Team and lead on Individual Giving strategy development and deliver growth as outlined in the new income generation strategy by enabling its implementation, maximising opportunities to grow net income and member / supporter numbers by making the goals and work of Amnesty International compelling to the UK public, inspiring them to donate and showing them that they are part of a powerful movement for human rights.
You'll oversee the planning, budgeting, and performance of the Individual Giving programme, including our in-house tele-fundraising business unit, in accordance with the goals and priorities of the income generation plan and organisational strategy. Expenditure budget is circa £3-4m per annum to achieve an income budget of circa £17m per annum across a range of products and channels. You'll be accountable for the compliance of the individual giving programme, which raises funds and recruits supporters across the two separate-but-related legal entities that make up Amnesty International UK.
You don't need to have worked for a campaigning / advocacy-based organisation before - but you will need to be excited about leading an individual giving programme that helps fund one.

The role may be for you if:
- You're experienced at management level within fundraising or business-to-consumer direct marketing, working with £1m+ budgets to achieve net income / profit and essentially will be able to give examples of the delivery of supporter / customer growth.
- You're an expert in what makes compelling fundraising communications and targeting external audiences using a range of direct response channels, including digital.
- You have a good knowledge of direct marketing performance metrics and how to use them to make evidence-based decisions.
- You have a solid knowledge of UK legislation and regulation relevant to direct marketing, including GDPR (and ideally, you'll be familiar with the Code of Fundraising Practice too).
- You'll live and work by the principles of equity, inclusion, and anti-racism and know how to embed these in team culture and in interactions with internal and external audiences.

The Poppy Appeal are looking for an experienced and motivated Head of Contactless Payments to lead the growth and optimisation of cashless donation solutions for the award-winning Poppy Appeal. As contactless payments continue to rise in popularity, it’s essential that we adapt and maximise their potential for fundraising efforts. In 2024, 20% of donations to the Poppy Appeal were made through contactless, and with the trend of digital transactions growing rapidly, we need someone with the expertise to drive both the development and implementation of innovative solutions. This role will focus on maximising existing systems and exploring new technologies to ensure the long-term success of the appeal while leading the way in the charity sector.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the full management of cashless donation solutions, including planning, delivery, and ongoing evaluation. As part of AIUK's Data, Digital, and Technology Transformation Programme, the Online Community Manager will lead the development and ongoing improvement of a new Online Community Platform for activists and educators, acting as product owner from design to long-term strategy. Working collaboratively with internal teams, external consultants, and key stakeholders, this role will develop engagement strategies, implement data-driven interventions, and maintain a secure, inclusive, and high-value space for activists.
Key responsibilities include moderation, safeguarding, and issue resolution, alongside training and support to ensure effective platform use by activists and AIUK staff. Job Purpose
The Head of Finance and Operations (HFO) will play a pivotal role as a key member of LinkAble’s Senior Management Team, working closely with the CEO and the Head of Services and Quality. The HFO will lead the finance function, providing strategic insight, producing accurate financial reports, and pricing new contracts and tenders. This role is supported by a Finance Assistant and involves line management of the Recruitment and Retention Manager. Additionally, the HFO will oversee external HR and IT advisors to ensure the organisation operates efficiently and effectively. The salary is up to £46k FTE pro rata for 4 days.
Finance
- Provide strategic financial leadership, ensuring robust oversight of all financial operations.
- Produce timely, detailed, and accurate monthly management accounts for the CEO and Finance Committee.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and maintain the Annual Budget, financial forecasts and projections.
- Manage and support a part-time Finance Assistant, while also recruiting and overseeing volunteers or finance trainees to assist with financial transactions.
- Administer payroll in collaboration with LinkAble’s outsourced payroll provider.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, including charity SORP, and uphold best practices in financial management.

Summary
- Support lay and ordained practitioner learning networks across the North.
- Identify effective channels for sharing learning and strategic insights for church planting and revitalisation.

Afghanaid is seeking a highly skilled Deputy Director of Human Resources (DDHR) who is passionate about mentoring, capacity-building, and fostering a culture of excellence, inclusion, and continuous learning, to lead strategic HR initiatives, ensuring effective people management, talent development, and operational excellence. Reporting to the Director of Finance and Operations, over a 24-month period the DDHR will play a pivotal role in strengthening Afghanaid’s HR capacity through:

Job Description
Reporting to the Director of Finance and Operations and serving as a member of the Board of Directors, the Deputy Director of Human Resources (DDHR) leads the human resource department and will be responsible for mentoring the HR team based in Afghanistan to build their capacity across all HR functions. The role involves working closely with the local HR team and senior leadership by implementing HR strategies to support Afghanaid’s mission and objectives, while enhancing the skills and capabilities of the HR team. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the review, enhancement, and implementation of HR policies, structures, and frameworks to align with international best practices and regulatory requirements.

We are seeking an experienced fundraiser to lead on the development and delivery of the trusts and foundations programme. As Trusts and Foundations Manager you will focus on stewarding and expanding a portfolio of grant makers that is currently generating around £400k per year. The Role:
· Develop a long-term strategy for trusts and foundations fundraising focused on sustainable growth and raising more income
· Steward a portfolio of existing trusts and foundations giving at the 5-figure+ level, seeking opportunities for uplift and renewals as appropriate
· Research and identify funding opportunities, approach potential funders, write creative and compelling bids, and build relationships to secure income
· Provide funders with regular updates on the impact of their support by compiling detailed reports and feedback on their funded projects/areas of work

Working type: Hybrid with occasional travel to meetings in and outside the office required.

Hours: The position is full time at 35 hours per week.

Salary: £51,579-61,322 commensurate with experience.

About Prostate Cancer Research
Prostate Cancer Research (PCR) is a research and information provision charity that is dedicated to improving and saving the lives of people with prostate cancer. Patients are central to everything we do and drive our work. Our work covers four key areas:

Academic and social research – We fund novel and innovative research projects at world-leading institutions that are working towards breakthroughs in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of advanced prostate cancer, and better quality of life outcomes for patients. We ensure that our research is targeted to address patient need and research gaps to maximise our impact and reach better treatments for patients sooner.

Translational research – We set up Proven Connect, the translational research arm of PCR, to focus on ensuring more promising treatments get from lab to patient through bridging the gap between industry, investors, health providers and patients.

Our vision for the future is clear: to be an integral part of creating one of the healthiest ecosystems for any disease type. An ecosystem that is connected, collaborative, equitable, and effective. Over the next 3 years we are setting ambitious targets to double our research funding, accelerate twelve biotech ventures, engage at least 100,000 people in influencing change, initiate three novel projects to enhance equity, and grow our income to more than £7 million.
