BMS World Mission is a Christian mission organisation founded in 1792, today we are working in around 30 countries over four continents. We are passionate about making Jesus known across the world and transforming the lives of those we serve.

We’re looking for BMS Regional Speakers (five positions) to nurture and strengthen relationships with churches and gain new regular supporters so we can see more communities transformed in Jesus’ name. You should be an enthusiastic advocate for mission, an excellent public speaker and confident in making a financial ask for BMS. You need to be outcome-driven and work towards agreed targets in the number of successful speaking engagements and new regular givers. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, have a strong commitment to outstanding supporter care, have excellent organisational skills, and be proactive and computer literate. You will have a global vision, a heart for mission and be passionate about the role of the UK church in a growing world church. This is a rewarding and very active role. 

You will conduct 15 speaking engagements to allocated churches in your region. 12 out of the 15 engagements need to take place during the main service, most likely on a Sunday morning. Other engagements can happen on a Saturday or mid-week event. If required and individually agreed, instead of two of the 15 speaking engagements at a church, the role holder might represent BMS at a ministers’ conference or a Christian event. Preparation, training, travel and speaking time are compensated and mileage is reimbursed. 

The time required for this role adds up to about 12 hours per month / 140 hours per year. This is made up of 15 speaking engagements, including the time for travel, arriving early and staying for tea and biscuits (5h per speaking engagement), preparation time (0.5h per engagement), keeping up to date with BMS’ development with our regular publications (about 15h per year), organising speaking engagements, including all communications with the church from the offer of a visit to follow up communications after a visit, recording all communications and raising any changes to role holders (2h per engagement), attending training (online and in person), team and coaching meetings (about 15h per year). 

Please note that BMS deems this role to be inside IR35 and, due to the nature of the role, will contract successful candidates via an Umbrella Agency for pay and tax purposes. You would log your hours on an hours sheet which you would submit quarterly.

The PR and Media Officer is responsible for developing and delivering PR activities to ensure effective communication with stakeholders, media and the public. A primary objective is to establish and raise the profile of KCLSU across media – trade, local and national. 

Working in a small team, the successful candidate will play a key role in delivering successful media campaigns and daily management of media enquiries, always in line with KCLSU's strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Raise KCLSU's profile, creating an understanding among key audiences by presenting the Student Union's core messages and services in specialist and mainstream print, broadcast, online and digital media.
2. Develop strong relationships with journalists/press agencies in both mainstream and Higher Education media.
3. Work with student officers and colleagues to achieve high-quality media coverage and public awareness for issues of importance to KCLSU.
4. Support and deliver PR and Media campaigns which align with KCLSU strategy.
5. Collaborate with student newspaper ROAR to promote upcoming events and other relevant KCLSU news.
6. Explore fundraising opportunities through media coverage.
7. Assist the communications team in written and verbal communications.
8. Monitor KCLSU's PR activities with periodic reports to the line manager and Head of Communications and Digital.

As PR & Media Officer, the role holder should be an organised and cool-tempered professional who is able to handle a crisis. They will have a creative mind and excellent communications skills, with experience in public speaking and project management.

Are you an experienced accredited IDVA with experience in a multi-agency?

If so, the Drive Partnership is looking for a DAPO Triage IDVA in Manchester. 

The Drive Partnership was formed by Respect, Safe Lives and Social Finance, is working to transform the national response to perpetrators of domestic abuse. 

The Triage IDVA will work as part of the Triage Team in their pilot area, reporting to the Triage Team Leader and working alongside the Triage Worker. They will be responsible  for supporting and presenting the voice of the victims and their children in cases where  the perpetrator has been referred to the team for an assessment of suitability for a Positive Requirement during an application for a DAPO.

They will be responsible for attempting to contact the victims to carry out the relevant safety checks, risk assessments and provide advocacy during the assessment stage and make onward referrals for further support for the victim. They will capture the voice of the victim as part of the overall assessment for a positive requirement and feed their views and any relevant information about risk or need into the overall recommendation. The IDVA’s work and expertise will ensure that the risks and needs for both the Perpetrator and Victims/families are considered so that a co-ordinated and individual intervention plan can be created when appropriate and safe to apply as part of the DAPO.

What's this role about?

This exciting position is responsible for delivering our fundraising programme to the public, with support from our Deputy Head of Fundraising.

You will focus on delivering key fundraising activities and an exceptional experience to a wide range of supporters, ensuring that you deepen relationships and maximise value. We are looking for a creative, and dynamic Digital Campaigns and Social Media Officer to join our team and help us grow positivity towards The National Lottery brand and make even more people aware of the significant positive impact National Lottery funding has on all aspects of life in the UK.

In this position you will work as part of a small digital team and alongside our Heads of Campaigns to deliver our communications strategy by strengthening and growing The National Lottery’s relationship with players and the public through engaging digital social media content and storytelling.

You will play an important role working with many well-known social media platforms and publishers and helping to commission and create exciting content for our own channels. Furthermore, you will lead on digital elements of our public facing campaigns and be responsible for helping to manage the NLPU’s social media platforms and digital presence.

About the role

We’re looking for a dynamic branding expert to lead a talented team as we develop a new brand platform and deliver it via an integrated marcomms strategy that boosts brand awareness, drives fundraising, and engages our audience. You’ll oversee everything from advertising and media buying, creative design and brand development, through to developing a best-in-class marketing function. Collaborating with internal teams and external agencies, you’ll ensure our marketing aligns with SSAFA’s mission and goals.

This role is a pivotal leadership role within the Fundraising & Marcomms Directorate, as well as the wider charity.

You’ll be leading a marketing and content team within a broader marcomms unit, working closely with PR, digital, and fundraising experts, as we shape cutting-edge campaigns that will make a real difference. This is a dynamic environment where your contributions are valued, and your professional growth is a top priority.

About you

You have proven experience in strategic marketing and brand management, with a track record of delivering measurable campaigns. Your strong leadership and team management skills are complemented by excellent project management and budgeting abilities. You possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, alongside a deep commitment to the voluntary sector. Additionally, you understand the unique needs of the Armed Forces community.

What You'll Do:

Key responsibilities include: 

• To proactively develop, nurture, manage and grow relationships with under-represented and served community partners, charities and disabled community groups for BFI Southbank and BFI Festivals programmes and services, as a priority 

• Work with colleagues in Marketing, Inclusion and Programming to develop strategic plans to grow audience engagement in key BFI target audience segments (Black and Global Majority, 25 and under, disabled) and Lambeth and Southwark residents and employers 

• To encourage and develop cross team working and collaboration between the team, and when working across the BFI, with external partners and stakeholders 

• Be an ambassador for the BFI and maintain a professional approach at all times 

We are looking for candidates who have: 

• Significant experience in inclusion work, community outreach and relationship management in a cultural, heritage or educational venue environment 

• Experience of working in a relationship management role with groups historically under-served and under-represented in cultural spaces

• Experience of working effectively and collaboratively with senior teams, including at a senior level, with the ability to liaise, develop and maintain strong professional relationships with colleagues and external agencies 

• Excellent relationship management skills, with an approachable and proactive mindset 

• A commitment to fostering inclusion in cultural spaces
