The ADSHG is a well-established UK charity supporting people with Addison’s and adrenal insufficiency through its website, social media reach and member services. Addison’s disease is a form of adrenal insufficiency and is a rare endocrine condition affecting 1:10,000, and both genders. Whilst treatable with time-critical daily medication, individuals with adrenal insufficiency are at risk of potentially life-threatening adrenal crisis, which occurs when physical or emotional triggers mean that prescribed medication no longer meets the body’s need for cortisol. Adrenal crisis is a medical emergency and can be life-threatening if not diagnosed and treated in a short period of time. Addison's and adrenal insufficiency are not widely understood, even within the medical community.

Our social media reach has grown steadily over the years, and, thanks to thoughtful content promoting audience engagement, it currently stands at a reach of over 31,000 across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and X and with a growing reach on BlueSky. We are looking for someone with a compassionate outlook who enjoys working with young people (students between 18 and 30), can maintain a positive mindset in unpredictable situations and handle responsibility. This is a people-centred workplace and all work we do is geared towards our mission and to look after the welfare of the students living here. You will be working as part of a small team, sharing office space and in close collaboration with colleagues and students. Reporting to the Warden / Deputy Warden and working alongside another Assistant Warden you willassist with the general office admin duties and various tasks around the house (including some basic maintenance and repairs) for which we will provide adequate training – however, a positive attitude is essential. You will also need to be comfortable with taking personal responsibility to ensure delegated tasks are completed successfully, effectively and, where necessary, using your own initiative.
Whilst your role and daily tasks may vary, they can include (not an exhaustive list):
·Maintaining office admin paperwork, computer filing, responding to e-mails & phone calls
·Completing basic bookkeeping tasks, e.g. inputting/issuing invoices & receipts into Xero
·Inducting new residents - hour-long introductory talk to ensure they are very familiar with the running of the House from their arrival onwards, ensuring rooms are of an acceptable standard when they leave – this needs to be done with the right measure of authority
·Bedrooms & Bathrooms – repairs to fittings, unblocking drains, replacing sealant etc.
·Pest control – e.g. checking for rodent or bedbug activity, organising and potentially carrying out treatment
·Preparing and cleaning rooms before letting where necessary - e.g. following maintenance (note: rooms are otherwise cleaned by residents; communal areas by professional cleaners)
·Pastoral care – e.g. discussing personal or academic issues with residents and finding solutions
·Planning and supervising communal activities, e.g Welcome party, barbeques, etc.
·Social media posts, taking meeting notes, working with the charity trustees.

Job Outline:
CFAB is a national charity and the UK branch of the International Social Service network. CFAB’s social work team helps to resolve cases involving child protection, children in care, unaccompanied children, and vulnerable adults when the case crosses international borders. CFAB social workers and caseworkers offer advice and guidance to individuals and local authorities and help to link social work services between the UK and other countries.
The main purpose of this role is to assist with the day to day running of the CFAB Advice Line and manage a caseload of allocated inter-country cases originating from the UK or overseas.
Key responsibilities:
Finance
· Code and process purchase invoices, staff expenses and obtain authorisation of expenditure as per financial procedures manual.
· Save copies of the Approval Max pdf’s in the Purchase folder.
· Prepare sales invoices to customers on the receipt of instruction from the social work team and email copy of invoice to customers.
· Liaise with the social work team to ensure sales invoice requests are generated for all Opportunities raised in Salesforce.
· Update Salesforce to reflect processed sales invoices.
· Maintain records of sales and purchase invoices in accordance with CFAB’s policies and procedures
· Banking of cheques received.
· Perform credit control duties according to the financial procedures manual.
· Handle and process all petty cash claims in accordance with CFAB policy, and ensure these are correctly authorised and reconcile the petty cash tin monthly.
· Maintain the files of supplier contracts including assisting the Finance Manager to review contracts periodically.
· Maintain the Local Authority Finance contacts spreadsheet.
· Assist the Finance Manager with the maintenance of the charity asset register.
· Assisting the Finance Manager to ensure suppliers and expenses are paid on time.
· Assist the Finance Manager with monthly reconciliations (e.g. ensure that all oncosts from ISW’s are recharged to Local Authorities accordingly).
· Be the key contact for any finance queries.
· Provision of management information and reports as required.

Human Resources
- Assisting the FHR Manager with HR administration support, including recruitment administration, Data Protection, maintaining legally compliant and up to date HR files etc.

This is an exceptional opportunity to join the Royal Hospital Chelsea as Assistant Director of Audience Engagement on a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. A core focus of the role is to develop the Royal Hospital Chelsea into a national heritage destination while ensuring our community of veterans remains at the heart of everything we do.

About the role
Our Database Support Team works to provide efficient, effective, and relevant system support to the users of the British Heart Foundation’s (BHF) CRM system, BlackBaud ECRM (BBEC), via the team’s helpdesk.
As a Data Support Assistant, you’ll play a key in supporting the work of the wider Data Operations team and Technology directorate, helping to structure and implement agreed changes and updates to the BHF’s CRM system and assist in the implementation & management of CRM housekeeping programmes.

About You
With strong computer literacy skills, including knowledge of CRM systems or other database packages, as well as proficiency in Microsoft packages, you’ll be familiar with data querying and data manipulation.
You’ll have previous experience of using Raisers Edge/ BBEC/ or equivalent CRM/ database software, and will have excellent communication skills, able to develop strong working relationships with the team and colleagues at all levels of the organisation.
It would be beneficial to have a background in fundraising or marketing, as it will help in understanding the broader context of our projects. Additionally, your strong customer service skills will ensure that stakeholders have a high-quality experience and feel valued.
To be successful in this role you’ll also have:
