The focus of parkrun’s Communications Team is to make sure that parkrun’s communications are ‘always on’, accessible, inclusive and reaching those that too often are under-represented. The team also provides first-class support and guidance to the entire charity, working closely with outreach, and with our commercial team, which covers fundraising, partnerships and retail.
Working closely with the junior parkrun Impact and Engagement Manager, the Senior Communications Officer will proactively lead and shape the marketing communications activity for junior parkrun. They will provide expert communications project management to plan, deliver and report on a variety of internal and external campaigns. The role has a particular focus on junior parkrun, with the aim of increasing participation amongst groups that are marginalised from opportunities to take part in social, physical activity, and who may be inactive/less active or in lower states of health.

Turn2us is a national charity tackling financial insecurity and its structural causes. We work with co-producers and partners to provide people in financial crisis with the means and agency to get back on their feet, build resilience, move forward with their lives and thrive.
Turn2us and its partners have secured £1.5 million from The National Lottery Community Fund to deliver an ambitious and innovative new programme that will support charities in England and Scotland to empower diverse and marginalised communities to respond to climate change and to get their voices heard in environmental policy and media debates.It will focus on Disabled people, those facing financial insecurity and people from ethnic minority communities. These voices are often the least heard from in national and local debates on our environment. This new work aims to change that.
As part of this programme, The National Lottery Community Fund have funded the creation of an Engagement Manager post at Turn2us to work with those facing financial insecurity. The Engagement Manager employed by Turn2us will deliver activity with smaller charities and grassroots organisations supporting those facing financial insecurity that:
- Increases awareness of the impact of environmental change and related policy on different communities
- Listens to people in these communities to find out what actions they want charities and local government to take
- Develops shared local environmental policy priorities and empowers these organisations to advocate directly to local and national policy makers
- Identifies actions that these organisations can take to support communities to respond to climate change, and helps organisations to implement them
- Identifies people with lived experience to receive hands on training in order to act as diverse champions to media and policy makers
They will work closely with Community Engagement Managers employed by Disability Rights UK, and Race Equality Foundation, focussed on reaching organisations supporting Disabled people and people from ethnic minority communities.

Who are Fair4All Finance?
We are a not-for-profit organisation working with Financial Services providers to improve the financial wellbeing of people in vulnerable circumstances by increasing access to fair, affordable and appropriate financial products and services.
Founded in 2019, we are are funded from the Dormant Assets Scheme. The scheme is led by the financial industry and backed by the UK government. This makes it possible for money in dormant bank and building society accounts to be used to help good causes.

About the role
We are looking to bring on board a new Bid Manager who is passionate about Changing Lives’ mission and want to make a real difference to peoples’ lives. As a member of the Business Development Team, you will make the case to our funders so that we can secure existing and new business, in order to further support the communities we work with.
Together the Business Development Team work across all our delivery areas; Homelessness, Recovery and Addiction, Women and Children, and Employment. You will work closely with our operational teams to help design and develop life-changing services. You will seek to involve people in services as much and as deeply as possible to ensure their needs, aspirations and views are the foundations of our thinking and model development. And as the world never stands still, you’ll continually review and develop our offers to reflect best practice and innovation.
You will build excellent, trusted relationships with our partners and commissioners, so you’ll be well placed to generate partnerships, spot and assess potential opportunities and ultimately convert them into new business. You’ll manage the tender process from start to finish, from identifying opportunities through to submission of bids to Local Authorities and other statutory bodies, as well as managing grant applications to charitable Trusts and Foundations. Key to this will be writing clear and persuasive bids that meet the requirements of our funders, represent our vision and values and showcase our excellent services.

About this job
The MS Society is looking for a passionate and dynamic Shop Manager to lead the daily operations of one of our retail locations. This role is key to supporting our mission of improving the lives of those affected by multiple sclerosis (MS). The Shop Manager will be responsible for driving sales, managing a team of volunteers and staff, maintaining high standards of customer service, and ensuring efficient stock control.
The role will also involve working with donors, promoting the MS Society’s work, and supporting fundraising efforts. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills, alongside a commitment to our charitable goals and the ability to inspire a dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all shop operations, including sales, stock management, and visual merchandising.
- Manage a team of volunteers and staff, providing training, guidance, and support.
- Drive sales targets and ensure the shop meets its fundraising goals.
- Ensure exceptional customer service standards are consistently met.
- Organise and coordinate in-store promotions and events.
- Manage donations and stock intake, ensuring the shop remains organised and efficient.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and ensure the shop operates within budget.
Work pattern includes Saturdays, flexibility is required.

About the Role
The Corporate Partnerships Manager is responsible for leading on the acquisition and development of new corporate partners with the intention of driving sales, year-on-year revenue growth and profitability, across the corporate partnership’s portfolio.
Reporting to the Head of Corporate Partnerships, this role focuses on securing revenue from leading organisations, both in the UK and internationally, and supports the successful delivery of corporate sponsorship activities, working with colleagues across the RIBA.
This role includes targeting, engaging and developing business with potential clients in our business category. These include, software providers, accountants, lawyers, banks, property companies, developers and built environment consultants.
You will be required to
- Actively seek, secure and maintain new long-term commercially viable corporate partnership sales opportunities through networking, direct targeting and via business related social media
- Develop a pipeline of corporate partner prospects in line with the business strategies, goals and objectives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential corporate partners, through securing and leading new business meetings
- Provide first point of contact and dedicated account management for corporate partners dealing with any queries or new requirements that may arise
- Monitor and manage corporate partner feedback to support development and client service improvement initiatives
- Oversight of corporate partnership accounts ensuring delivery of all agreed terms and requirements, while enabling sponsors’ objectives are met
- Attend client meetings and internal stakeholder and management meetings as the representative of the Corporate Partnerships team
- Attend events to ensure corporate partners’ requirements are successfully delivered, in line with contracted objectives and goals
Working with the Head of Corporate Partnerships
- Develop strategies for evolving and growing corporate partnerships, employing market intelligence to identify opportunities and assess the current market conditions
- Investigate ways to diversify our corporate partnership base and implement strategies to extend and grow our revenue streams
- Devise and implement strategies to increase revenue year-on-year across the RIBA awards, exhibitions, conferences and RIBAJ ‘special projects
- Prepare high quality and compelling corporate partnership proposals and presentations
- Support the development of corporate partnerships marketing collateral
What are we looking for?
Ideal candidates will have a minimum of three years’ experience in a membership, media or an events organisation or charity. We are looking for an innovative individual with:
- Excellent interpersonal, organisational skills and written and verbal communication.
- A strong work ethic
- An ability to prioritise multiple projects simultaneously
- A knowledge of the architecture and construction industry would be an asset, though not essential.
- Proficient in all MS Office applications
- Ideally, experience of working with and selling to companies in our business category

The position reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and is accountable to the Charity Directors and Finance Committee. Job Purpose:
· Manage day to day book-keeping and key financial processes.
