- Deliver a decision support service to managers and directors to deliver improved financial performance outcomes for the RCR.

- Support the partners in the production of outturn forecasts, budgets and multiyear financial plans that conform to RCR’s financial needs.

About us:
At Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice, we care for children and young adults with life-limiting conditions. We support hundreds of families, both in our hospice and in family homes.
Our support services are wide ranging and bespoke to each family; including overnight care, music therapy, counselling, sibling support groups, home visits and much, much more.
It costs around £6.5m to keep our doors open for families across South Yorkshire and beyond. Statutory funding makes up 16% of this amount and the rest is raised through fundraising activity.
Our services include overnight stays and community breaks at home or in the hospice. We also support the whole family from diagnosis with our multi-disciplinary Family Support team who provide counselling, sibling support groups, music therapy and much more. Our care team supports these families in our modern, purpose-built building. All our rooms/bedrooms have a homely feel. We have a sensory room, spa pool, cinema room and six acres of gardens.
We support families from a large geographical area, including South Yorkshire, North Nottinghamshire, North Derbyshire and parts of North Lincolnshire. The hospice is easily accessible from Barnsley, Rotherham, Doncaster, Sheffield and North Notts. We have free secure on-site parking for families and staff to use.

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven individual to join our team as the Events Fundraiser teamed with a commercial sales focus. This role requires a unique blend of fundraising expertise and commercial acumen to drive our vision forward. We are looking for a Commercial Senior Manager / Associate Director to drive the next phase of the No Interest Loan Scheme (NILS). The NILS pilot has already lent over £10 million to more than 13,000 financially vulnerable people, demonstrating the positive impact of affordable credit. This is a unique opportunity to lead a multi-million-pound programme through its final stages and oversee its strategic scaling for long-term sustainability.
The scheme is currently funded by HM Treasury, JP Morgan, and Fair4All Finance. We are looking for an experienced senior lead with a background in both commercial delivery and business case development, fluent in working with the public sector, mainstream finance, and civil society to oversee the final stages of the pilot delivery and to take charge of scaling up NILS.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead the No Interest Loan Scheme (NILS) Programme: Oversee the final delivery phase of the NILS pilot, with the Programme Delivery Manager
· Develop the Business Case: Build the long-term commercial model and business case for NILS, identifying sustainable funding solutions and influencing senior stakeholders

The role:
We believe Street Child has a huge opportunity to achieve even more growth in the Corporate Partnerships sector by diversifying our coverage and relationships into new industries and growth markets. The New Business Manager role will play a key role in leading our New Business activity outside of our existing portfolio. Reporting to our recently appointed Senior Manager for Partnership and New Business, your role will involve:
1. Core New Business activity: Researching and development of prospect lists for priority industries to implement New Business campaigns capable of securing multi-year high value partnerships. 9. Work alongside Innovation, Marcomms and Quality Assurance team colleagues to attract, engage and delight customers under the Customer Experience strategy.
10.Alongside the Head of Business Development and Director of Engagement, review, explore and consider future pricing models aimed at increasing the average spend of centres, supporting ‘a whole education leadership offer’.
11.To carry out any other duties as requested to support the work of the Leadership Skills Foundation commensurate with the grade and level of responsibility of the post, for which the post holder has the necessary experience and/or training.

Who we are looking for:
Someone with substantial and demonstrable experience of working with corporates within FTSE 250 and the commercial sector. This includes proactively acquiring new partnerships and maximising existing relationships, including how to access the decision makers.
Have excellent presentation and negotiating skills, representing the charity in a range of settings and to a range of audiences.
Be a self-starter with strong sales and influencing skills, Able to work independently in particular in developing corporate fundraising products and tools.

About the Role

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This is a Business Development Manager role (please see person specification below) within a cutting edge and growing international social development organisation. As a Business Development manager, you will identify and win new opportunities for the company. You will ensure and facilitate efficient bid development processes working closely with technical team colleagues, as well as finance, HR and programmes teams, to produce high-quality bids in a timely manner.
Business Development – Portfolio Management
· BD Lead on specific technical portfolios, acting as a liaison between the BD team and the technical team to proactively identify, track and win work in that technical area.
· Maintain accurate reporting of all sales activity.
· Manage a pipeline of opportunities.
· Attend donor market meetings (e.g. Early Market Engagement meetings) for relevant bids, engage in donor consultation and network with others as appropriate.
· Convene decision makers to make swift and informed decisions whether to bid or not.
· Lead on pre-positioning work to identify partners, team members and develop our approach (in collaboration with other colleagues) for new opportunities.
· Negotiate consortium roles on bids and develop a teaming agreement to reflect that.
· Lead on our response (with input from relevant colleagues) to direct approaches from clients to provide consultancy and research services.
· Regularly meet existing partners/clients to develop and maintain relationships and to proactively identify opportunities for further joint working.

Bid Production
· Lead on and be responsible for technical and commercial proposal development (including budget), working closely with colleagues from our technical, project management and finance teams. For large bids, the technical and commercial roles may be performed by two people, though the technical lead will retain responsibility for the whole process.
· Produce job descriptions/terms of reference for specific roles on new programmes.
· Use company resources and networks as well as own contacts to identify and contract consultants.
· Agree and document all terms in-line with BD process.
· Ensure compliance requirements for each bid are in place, e.g. data protection, due diligence etc.
· Capture and share learning from tenders under areas of responsibility.
· Review contracts for work won against the contract checklist.
· Deliver handover to the Programmes Team for seamless mobilisation.
Communications
· Contribute to internal action to strengthen SDDirect as an organisation through participation in meetings, working groups and other fora.
System and Process

This year, and every year, as many as 600 families in the UK will learn that their child has only half a working heart. These children have one of the most complex of all heart conditions, and there is no cure. That is why Little Hearts Matter exists. We wrap a blanket of understanding and care around families at every stage of their half a heart journey. We are always here when they need us.
Without donations, Little Hearts Matter would not be able to offer our services, free of charge, to support individuals and families across the UK. We do not receive any government funding for our work. Our fundraising team is essential to raising these vital funds—over £440,000 annually. A better future for seriously ill children starts with you, our Fundraising Manager, within our three-person fundraising team.
In your first three months, you will get to know the charity well and figure out who our current supporters are. You will devise a plan for how you will use your experience to raise money, with a focus on building our challenge and events portfolio. You will also start building good relationships with key people inside and outside
Little Hearts Matter, including networking within the Birmingham and West Midlands business community.
By the end of your first year, you will have put your plan into action, continually improving it as you go. You will have built up our events and challenges portfolio, connected with donors, found new supporters, and tried out different ways to bring in funds and hit your target. About Little Hearts Matter
Little Hearts Matter (LHM) is a national charity with over 7000 members. We are the only charity in the UK that offers support and information to, and represents the needs of, children and families following a diagnosis of single ventricle heart disease (half a working heart). These congenital cardiac conditions can never be cured, even following repeated surgery, so the children must learn to live within the restrictions that their disability and fears for their future create.
Little Hearts Matter is there from the time parents learn of their child’s condition, through risk-filled treatment into a challenged-filled life at home. LHM is there to support the children, and their families, through their hopes and aspirations and the gradual realisation that they will never have the same life as their peers. Our aims are to:
Alleviate isolation by offering support, friendship and understanding from the time a diagnosis is made, through treatment decisions, hospital care and into life at home, eventually introducing parents and patients to other families who have similar experiences and shared concerns helping them to build a network of support.
Reduce fear by offering patients, parents, siblings, and the extended family a greater opportunity to understand the diagnosis and treatment paths available.
Reduce confusion and a lack of understanding by producing and supplying for free, user focused information that supports and aids understanding from the time of diagnosis, through treatments and into life at home.
Raise a greater awareness within Medical, Educational, Social and Governmental circles of the needs of children, and their families, as they travel through every stage of their lives.
Specific areas of responsibility
Working as part of the fundraising team, the Fundraising Manager will:
- Be responsible for their own portfolio of supporters, maintaining and growing income, regularly forecasting income and expenditure against agreed targets (circa. £200,000+ annually)
