The Sheffield Crisis House offers short-term support for adults (18+) experiencing acute mental health crises. With 6 beds and communal spaces like a kitchen, lounge, and garden, the service is staffed 24/7 in partnership with Sheffield Health and Social Care. Individuals receive emotional support, guidance, and help re-engaging with coping strategies and daily activities. All support is person-centred, focusing on improving safety and wellbeing.
How you will make a difference as a Registered Manager:
- Personalised Service Delivery: Ensure safe, personalised services through assessment, person-centred planning, and regular outcome-focused reviews.
- Support Planning: Develop aspirational support plans for residents.
- Safety Systems: Implement safe systems of work, including personal safety and lone working, complying with Rethink Mental Illness’ safety policies.
- Information Quality: Improve the quality of information recorded on Rethink Information System (RIS) and support staff in its use.

Essential Skills and Experience Required:
- Qualifications: Achieved or working towards Level 5 Diploma in Leadership in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
- Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience in an operational management capacity in a health/social care setting.
- Knowledge: Understanding of legal responsibilities and standards for CQC registered services, including person-centred service delivery.
- Supervision and Leadership: Experience in providing effective supervision, leadership, and management of staff.
- Direct Experience: Experience working directly with people with severe mental illness.
- Agency Work: Experience working within statutory agencies.

About the role
Are you passionate and knowledgeable about delivering training in AI and keen to apply your skills to lead a purpose-driven project?
In partnership with the Centre for Public Impact with support from the Google AI Opportunity Fund, Media Trust is launching a pioneering new programme and we're looking for an experienced programme manager to lead on its delivery.
You will be empowering charities and under-represented creative talent, helping them gain AI skills to bridge the growing AI divide and prevent marginalised communities from being further excluded or disadvantaged.
The programme will provide AI essentials training to two of Media Trust’s key beneficiary stakeholder groups: (i) small charities advocating for and supporting marginalised communities, and (ii) talent from under-represented backgrounds working, or aspiring to work, in the media and creative industries.
The programme is funded by Centre for Public Impact with support from the Google AI Opportunity Fund and we'll delivering free bespoke AI training developed by Google and external partners.
You will be responsible for designing the delivery calendar and managing the launch and delivery of this ambitious programme, which will run from January to December 2025. You will also manage the MEL (measurement, evaluation and learning) processes for the programme and produce a quarterly progress report for the programme funder.
You will provide insights and learning from the programme to help Media Trust design new AI-related and other digital skills training programmes for charities and/or creative talent from under-represented backgrounds.

Programme Management and Evaluation

Programme Management: Oversee the launch and delivery of this groundbreaking programme, ensuring all activity runs to schedule and on budget

Training Coordination: Plan, recruit and deliver training for 8 separate cohorts of c25 participants per cohort, coordinating with partner organisations, trainers and programme participants

Participant Engagement: Recruit and engage programme participants, encourage participation and retention, support any accessibility needs and ensure the training aligns with participants’ needs and expectations

Training Content Development: Work closely with the trainers to create engaging, practical and tailored content, activities and resources to maximise learning

What we are looking for in you

Role purpose
The Centre of Excellence is WorldSkills UK’s flagship programme, dedicated to transforming the quality of teaching, learning, and assessment across Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET). This pioneering programme drives innovation and raises standards by delivering world-class training and development opportunities for educators, ultimately enhancing outcomes for learners and ensuring the UK’s global competitiveness in skills excellence. As Senior Workforce Development Manager, you will lead the programme management of the Centre of Excellence, playing a pivotal role in advancing its mission. Key tasks and responsibilities
1. Programme management:
Provide effective programme management ensuring the Centre of Excellence operates at the highest standards, with strategic oversight of all workstreams, including stakeholder engagement, resource management, and performance monitoring.
• Leading the programme’s strategic planning and execution, ensuring that all workstreams—including budget management, timelines, and resource allocation—are closely aligned with overall objectives. Proactively address challenges to maintain programme momentum and achieve milestones effectively.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to support programme success. Facilitate effective communication and alignment across teams, partners, and member institutions, promoting active engagement and collaboration throughout all programme phases.
• Establishing and overseeing a robust framework for monitoring and evaluating programme performance, focusing on impact assessment and continuous improvement. 2. Network member Management:
Lead and execute a comprehensive member engagement strategy, driving value through targeted onboarding, recognition programmes, and an evolving account management framework to foster long-term member satisfaction and retention. Oversee tracking and analysis to inform strategic improvements and identify growth opportunities that align with the Centre of Excellence’s mission to expand impact.
• Developing and implementing a member engagement strategy, ensuring that institutions gain significant value from their involvement in the Centre of Excellence to include a recognition and awards programme to reward and celebrate members’ excellent practice and engagement with the Centre of Excellence.
• Providing strategic oversight to the enrolment and validation process for new members, ensuring that new institutions meet the Centre of Excellence’s standards, and work closely with the Network Member Manager to streamline onboarding, guaranteeing a positive initial experience that sets the stage for long-term involvement.
• Overseeing the tracking and evaluation of member engagement, using data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Provide regular updates on membership retention, engagement levels, and impact to leadership, and work with the Network Member Manager to develop strategies based on these insights.
• Identifying growth opportunities and enhancements to the programme offerings that can address emerging industry needs, supporting the Centre of Excellence’s mission and expanding its reach and impact.
3. Workforce Development:
The Senior Workforce Development Manager will lead a team of High Performance Skills Coaches to design, implement, and continuously improve a world-class teacher training programme. By incorporating global insights and innovative practices, this role ensures that the programme enhances teaching quality and raises educator capacity to deliver world-class education.
• Utilising insights from international benchmarking and emerging trends from global partners to incorporate cutting-edge methodologies and world-class standards into the teacher training programme.
• Leading a team of Skills Coaches to guide the development and delivery of high impact teacher training experiences, focusing on practical and solutions focussed strategies underpinned by international best practice that improve teaching, learning, and assessment.
• Overseeing the planning and scheduling of training activities to align with the academic calendar, ensuring that sessions are well-timed and accessible to educators throughout the year. Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications teams to promote training opportunities, generate demand, and expand programme reach, actively engaging member institutions and their teaching staff.
• Establishing robust tracking and evaluation systems to monitor programme outcomes, using data to measure the effectiveness of training content and delivery. Liverpool SHS is a mental health, 12 hour supported housing and community-based service, working to a recovery model. We provide a range of support services for people with mental ill health to access in their local community, including outreach support, tenancy support, peer support and supported housing. We have been operating in the area for a number of years and offer a staffed service to our residents aged 18 and upwards.
We know that recovery can look and feel very different to each and every one of us. But we also know that if we provide the right support, at the right time, we can inspire recovery nationwide and that recovery is possible for everyone. That’s where you come in. Responsible for helping and inspiring the people who use our services to maintain their tenancy and independence in the community, we’ll rely on you to work with them to come up with a personal support plan that will see them achieve their goals and aspirations. Rising Sun Domestic Violence and Abuse Service (Rising Sun) is an independent charity in Kent working to prevent domestic abuse and improve the lives of survivors and their children suffering from its effects. We have an ambitious vision for a world in which women and children live free from actual or threatened domestic abuse and all forms of violence.
Our team provide a range of services to adults and children who’ve experienced domestic abuse. We understand the impact of domestic abuse on survivors and so we listen to individual needs and respond in a trauma informed way. We provide one-to-one support and also deliver therapeutically informed group programmes to help survivors to recognise healthy/unhealthy behaviours in relationships and to understand the impact of domestic abuse. Bringing survivors together validates experiences and enables them to draw strength from one another.

JOB PURPOSE
Liberty House provides housing and support for up to 5 homeless young women aged 16-24 who are single, pregnant or have a young child and have experienced domestic abuse.
The support worker will be required to take on key-working responsibilities for the residents at Liberty House, as well as delivering other support work within the house and within the wider Liberty team. This could be related to pregnancy and parenting, life skills, psychoeducational support, understanding healthy relationships and building supportive peer relationships within the home, and supporting them to live independently.
The post holder will work to provide a secure, stable and homely environment and to act as a positive role model to residents. They will build professional and supportive relationships with residents and colleagues.
The project works to empower residents, providing them with information relating to their rights and enabling them to make decisions based on their options using a trauma informed approach.
As a member of the Liberty Team (16 – 24 year olds), the successful applicant will work collaboratively with the rest of the Children and Young People’s team, as well as the wider Rising Sun team to support other programmes delivered within the organisation.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Service Delivery
- Provide holistic, trauma informed, practical and emotional support to residents of Liberty House through regular 1-2-1 sessions. Develop individual support plans, which address any practical and emotional needs the resident may have, such as accessing benefits, life skills and perform risk assessments where needed.
- Organise and deliver group sessions that focus on life skills and strengthening relationships.
- Encourage the residents in positive parenting.
- Manage relationships within the house, act as a conciliator, arbitrator and reconciler in disputes between residents.
- Ensure residents adhere to house rules.
- Assist with the day to day general running of the house and office, to ensure they are fit for purpose and safe for team members and residents.
- Conduct safety checks around the house. Ensure all faults/repairs are reported and that the Health and Safety Policy is adhered to at all times.
- Comply with organisational policies and procedures and adhere to confidentiality.
- Work effectively in partnership with other agencies.

About the role
Our client specialises in providing high quality care and education to children and young people with epilepsy and other complex medical conditions. They are offering an exciting opportunity for a Head of Residential Childcare Services to lead, develop and oversee seven children’s homes, ensuring the highest standard of bespoke care and support is provided for each young person. They are underway with registering their seven homes individually with Ofsted and the post holder will play a pivotal role in leading on the registrations and ensuring its success. This role will not hold registration for the services.
About you
This opportunity will allow you to use your existing knowledge and expertise in the management of Children’s Homes, to implement new ideas, support and develop their Registered Managers, whilst ensuring best practice and compliance with Ofsted regulations.
You’ll be working in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams across the organisation, so well developed interpersonal skills are essential. You will be someone that thinks outside the box; taking service expansion and admissions into consideration, alongside managing the day-today operations of the service. You will be creative and strategic in your approach allowing you to effectively bring the Children’s Services strategic plan to realisation.
They would love to hear from you if you have:
• Substantial experience working with children with learning disabilities in a residential care setting
• previous experience working as a Registered Manager (or similar)
• experience in Ofsted inspections, compliance and regulations
• a Level 5 Diploma Leadership and Management in Children’s and Young People’s Workforce or relevant degree or equivalent professional qualification
This role will work 5 days out of 7 days, usually Monday to Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm but with flexibility to meet service need.

We are part of ‘One Recovery Buckinghamshire’ (ORB), a partnership between Inclusion (MPFT NHS Trust), Aquarius, and Build on Belief providing support for alcohol and drug issues across Buckinghamshire.
We are looking for a Complex Needs Practitioner to join our team in Aylesbury.
You will:
- Engage people in a variety of interventions, using a person-centred approach, empowering them to reduce risk, increase resilience and achieve positive outcomes.
- Work flexibly across the community and withing our multi-agency partnership settings. Your caseload will include a mixture of community and multi-agency referral pathways including health and social care.
- Work with people to address holistic support needs across all aspects of the person’s wellbeing. This could include diverse work related to knife crime, 5 step family work, exploitation, physical and emotional health as well as substance misuse.
To succeed, you’ll:
- Have a qualification in health/social care, youth and community work (e.g. NVQ Level 3 or above, DipSW, Mental Health Nursing, Counselling, Addiction Studies). Alternatively, we’ll consider candidates with experience of working in the substance misuse field with a commitment to complete NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care.
- Be an energetic and confident self-starter.
- Have experience of liaising with voluntary and statutory agencies and health professionals and engaging effectively with clients in a variety of settings.
- Have a flexible approach, excellent record keeping and report writing skills and a willingness to work flexibly across the community and within our multi-agency partnership settings, on an outreach basis, with a central hub base at our head office.
