What is the role?
As Head of Relationship Fundraising, you’ll lead a passionate team responsible for philanthropy, corporate partnerships, community fundraising, and delivering flagship events like the Starlight Walk, Run the Rainbow, and Light Up a Life. You’ll develop innovative strategies to grow our income, build meaningful relationships with donors, and deliver a world-class supporter experience.
This role is key to helping us raise over £1 million annually and to ensuring Prospect Hospice can continue providing compassionate care to those in need.

Our Communications Manager is taking maternity leave from mid-June and we are looking for someone to cover the role for approx 9 months. We are a small team and this is the only communications role, therefore the Communications Manager has a lot to do, including:
- Running our whole comms operation – social media, website, event marketing, PR.

We need you to bring the ‘must have’ qualities listed above, but do not require a conventional professional CV full of paid communications and marketing roles. What we do need is someone who can help us deliver. That means understanding the people we work with, and knowing how to deliver organisational communications that meet their needs.

Terms & conditions

Overview
The Olive Tree Cancer Support Group (the Olive Tree), is a registered Charity, dedicated to the relief of the physical and/or emotional distress of persons with cancer and their partners, families, friends and carers, through the provision of services, operating from its support centres in Crawley and Horsham.

About the role
Are you a service coordinator or a frontline caseworker with demonstrable organisational skills and the ability to develop, deliver and monitor the impact of food based destitution services? Are you highly organised and responsible? Are you passionate about supporting asylum seekers, refugees and vulnerable migrants to rebuild their lives in our community?

Reporting to the Director, AFRIL's Destitution Coordinator will coordinate the delivery and development of our work to alleviate destitution. You will coordinate a fortnightly referral only food bank in partnership with St Peter’s Church in Lee; secure gifts in kind, manage the distribution of small grants, and work together with our Casework team and partner Immigration Solicitor to support people to engage in the complex process of improving their circumstances. You will supervise volunteers and lead on professional relationships for AFRIL’s destitution work, including influencing local policy. We are a friendly and supportive team and the existing postholder is moving internally so you will have a thorough handover period.

Destitution Support - a fortnightly Food Bank in partnership with St Peter’s Church providing food, food vouchers, toiletries, and other essentials, alongside a warm hub with free cafe, information and support. The TVAA Aftercare Service offers support and guidance to patients and their families. It can involve meeting a patient and ‘filling in the gaps’ of the treatment that was provided as they may not be able to remember. It can also involve signposting to other services and charities where a need is identified for more specific support.
This is an exciting time of growth for Thames Valley Air Ambulance as we embark on the delivery of our new organisational strategy. One of the core goals of our new organisational strategy is that ‘We care beyond the scene’ and in order to be able to grow with the organisation, the Aftercare team is expanding.
This is an exciting opportunity for a committed individual to become part of the Aftercare Team in the position of Aftercare Manager - Community. You will be an integral part of the Aftercare service focusing on helping our patients transition back into their community as they recover. Sadly, the reality is that some of our patients due to the severity of the illness and injuries we attend to don’t survive and so we also work very closely with people who have been bereaved in the community.
You will be predominantly based in the community visiting with our patients, their loved ones, the bereaved and bystanders in their community setting. You should also be confident communicating via the telephone and other virtual means.
TVAA provides critical care to the counties of Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire. This means that you will need to be confident driving in this footprint, in order for us to see our patients in their preferred environment.
You should have a strong clinical background and although this will not be a clinical position, you will need to be adept at tailoring your approach when discussing and explaining complex and sensitive clinical information to our patients often when they are at their most vulnerable.

About the role:
We work within a coordinated partnership response to violence against women and girls as part of the Angelou Partnership. Within the partnership ADVANCE provides independent domestic abuse advocacy and support for women, children and young people who have experienced domestic abuse.
The IDVA will work within a dynamic, fast paced, crisis intervention, advocacy, and support service to ensure the voice of survivors informs every stage of the process specialising in working with clients at high risk. They will work within the team to make proactive contact and provide high quality advocacy and support based upon a client led needs and risk assessment to women from aged 13, focusing on working with those aged 18 and over who access the domestic abuse service. They will advise women on criminal justice and civil remedies and related matters, support women to attend court where necessary, and coordinate the provision of multi-agency support. Part of the role will to be to establish positive, proactive, and innovative working relationships with services providing services to clients and partner agencies within the Angelou Partnership. As a Core IDVA will work across the boroughs mentioned above, under the guidance of the team leaders and project manager.
To be successful as the Core IDVA you will need the below experience and skills:
To be successful as a Core IDVA, you’ll need to have an excellent understanding of domestic abuse and its effects on women and children and of best practice within the domestic abuse sector. As an experienced domestic abuse advocate who has worked with complex and multiple needs, you will be skilled in risk management and safety planning, remaining calm in a crisis and in handling sensitive information on a daily basis. Experience of direct work with female survivors of domestic abuse, of supporting women involved in mental health services, and of working within safeguarding procedures is essential for this post, as is the need to adopt and promote a strong partnership approach to service provision.

We are recruiting for a Service Manager who is passionate about supporting survivors who are impacted by domestic abuse and other gender-based crimes. This is a multifaceted, fast paced, and exciting role where you will join our team in Derby to lead on the delivery and development of high-quality refuge and outreach services for survivors of domestic abuse and other gender-based crimes.
The post holder will provide line management and high-quality support to the direct reports in line with Refuge’s policies and procedures. This will include providing supervision on complex and high-risk cases, overseeing operational emergencies, and ensuring high standards of casework. The Service Manager will lead on the delivery of the multiagency aspect of work, working jointly with the Refuge teams and wider stakeholders to deliver best services to the survivors.
Candidates must have proven experience of providing direct emotional and practical support to vulnerable people, managing, and motivating staff, managing casework as well as working within multiagency setting. In addition, you must have an excellent knowledge of domestic abuse and other gender-based violence and its impact on survivors. You will have knowledge of relevant Criminal and Civil law legislation, as well as Housing and Health and Safety legislation.
As part of this role, you will be required to participate in an out-of-hours on call rota. Please note that this is an on-site role.
