About EduSpots
EduSpots is a dynamic, community-driven UK and Ghana-registered charity that connects, trains, and equips volunteer community educators (known as ‘Catalysts’) to drive grassroots educational change. These efforts center around the creation and operation of community-led ‘Spots’—innovative education spaces benefiting learners of all ages.
Founded in 2016, EduSpots has grown to support 50 communities through 400 local Catalysts who play a central leadership role. We believe in a community-led model that can be adapted globally. Our Ghana-based team facilitates three leadership programmes—Ignite, Catalyse, and Inspire Mentoring—enabling Catalysts to run clubs focused on early-years education, digital literacy, STEM/environmental education, and gender equity, ultimately reaching over 15,000 learners each year.
EduSpots’ rapid growth has been recognized through accolades like the Tes International Award (2018) and the Big Give Supporters’ Choice Award (2022). We were recently a finalist for the 2023 Their World Scale-Up Innovation Prize, and our Founder was a finalist for the UNESCO-backed Varkey Foundation’s Global Teacher Prize. We are now expanding our model, supported by independent evaluation findings and prestigious accelerator programs, as we explore its global potential.
About the Role
EduSpots is seeking a Global Philanthropy Manager—an engaging, dynamic, and proven fundraising specialist who will play a key part in our next phase of growth. As we continue to expand, we need an individual with a track record of securing income from trusts and foundations, ideally at the 5- to 6-figure level (GBP), and the ability to cultivate new funding partnerships.
In the past two years, we have doubled our income and expanded our programmes significantly. We are now poised for further growth and need someone who understands the value of community-driven change. You will collaborate closely with our CEO, Ghana-based Heads of Programmes, and Head of Operations to develop funding proposals and nurture donor relationships at a strategic level.
Depending on experience and availability, this role may involve overseeing a small part-time fundraising team (including a Fundraising Manager, Trusts and Foundations Manager, and Communications Manager). In time, the position could evolve into a Head of Fundraising role.

Skills, Experience, and Attributes

Proven track record of income generation, ideally within education or international development.

We are St Nicks, a local environmental charity with a mission “build and connect flourishing communities through urban greenspace generation, nature-based wellbeing and sustainable living”. About the Role
This exciting new role provides an excellent opportunity to help shape and deliver our approach to fundraising, helping to ensure that St Nicks can continue our vital work in supporting planet, people and nature. As the sole fundraiser and reporting directly to the chief executive officer, you will be given the autonomy to shape and develop and deliver on all aspects of our unrestricted fundraising, building key relationships with existing and new supporters and maximising support from community, corporate and individual supporters.
Although fundraising in this sense is new to St Nicks, we have a strong foundation of existing supporters and partners which we can build our fundraising and relationships on.

Hebridean Whale and Dolphin Trust (HWDT) is a marine conservation charity based on the Isle of Mull. This role is responsible for the development and delivery of HWDT’s new education project, Hebridean Marine Explorers - Connecting Scotland’s seas and communities.

Educating young people on land and at sea is key to the role so we are seeking a confident, enthusiastic, organised self-motivator, familiar working with schools and young people, with outstanding communication skills. We are looking for somebody experienced in teaching and delivering environmental education activities and training for young people, ideally with knowledge of co-design project delivery and its implementation within a primary school environment.

Job Summary
Taking a leading role as part of the Individual Giving management team, you play an important part in helping to achieve a step change in the growth of the net voluntary income of St John. The role will work closely across Individual Giving and the wider Fundraising Directorate to develop an evolving supporter acquisition strategy that will aim to recruit new supporters with a focus on digital. The role needs to focus on managing the implementation of the strategy including using insight and data to develop, implement, manage, monitor and evaluate campaigns across a range of channels, with a cutting edge and contemporary approach whilst staying current with the continuously changing legislation and support climate. Responsibilities include working with agencies and suppliers to project manage the full cycle of direct marketing campaigns.
About You
- Significant experience in a third sector direct marketing role

The café is located in our award winning visitor centre, situated is an ancient landscape alive with nature, history and folklore. Today it is a magical destination visited by people from across the globe, home to the enduring legend of Robin Hood and the famous Major Oak, estimated to be more than 1,000 years old.
We care for over 450 hectares of ancient wood pasture and rolling heathland which is home to thousands of species of bird, insect, mammal, fungi, tree and plant. Wooded for centuries and once part of a vast royal hunting ground, for the 350,000 people who come to visit each year it is an incredible place to visit!
What's the role about?
Supporting the Assistant Food and Beverage Manager in the delivery of an exemplar customer experience, maximising income streams and effectively managing costs to deliver optimal net contribution, whilst ensuring a high level of legislative compliance.
Working at Sherwood Forest Reserve, you'll compliment the unique and fascinating visitor experience offer inspiring our visitors to support nature conservation now and in the future. This placement is part of a national Green Doctor Trainee scheme funded by the Cadent Foundation. Trainees will take part in the Green Doctor Academy: a program of training, learning and support. Founded in 2012, the Bristol Avon Rivers Trust (BART) is a charity dedicated to restoring and protecting the rivers of the Bristol Avon. Guided by an evidence-based, ecosystem-wide approach, we focus on the health of the entire catchment, not just the rivers themselves.
BART began as a grassroots effort driven by a shared passion for waterways. Today, with approximately 20 employees and an annual turnover of £1 million, we manage multi-year projects funded by diverse supporters to preserve and enhance the Bristol Avon catchment.

Job summary and purpose
The Trust Administrator is responsible for maintaining the core administrative functions of the Trust to ensure the smooth operation of the charity, enabling its mission to ensure healthy rivers for wildlife and people.
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, the Trust Administrator will work with a range of internal and external contacts to ensure routine business functions, human and physical resources, supporter and governance liaison are working well. The role will involve working closely with the Chief Executive, but also with other members of the team, Trustees, supporters and suppliers.
The role will require exceptional organisational skills, excellent interpersonal skills, an attention to detail, and working flexibly in an agile environment. Clear communication is particularly important for us because our mission is to level the playing field when it comes to access to opportunities, and a big part of this effort is fair and straightforward access to information. It’s also important for us to be fun, while not talking down to young people.
Over the last few years, we have created hundreds of videos aimed at students and teachers.
We now have an exciting slate of new video projects that we want to produce. We want to use video:

To develop some of the most popular parts of the Unifrog platform, currently used by hundreds of thousands of young people every week to explore different careers, different subjects at university, and topics that matter to them like Climate Change and Wellbeing.

To help us create brand new tools within the platform, expanding what Unifrog offers to young people, and how we interact with external partners like employers and universities.
We also want to improve the quality of the videos we create, making them slicker and more useful to our users.
Working together
You’ll join a Video team of five colleagues, and you’ll be line managed by the Head of Video. You will work collaboratively with colleagues across various departments, including the Marketing team, the Employer and HE teams and the Written content team.
Within the Video Team, we foster a collaborative environment where brainstorming sessions are common, feedback is exchanged among team members, and we actively seek input from educators and students at our partner schools. We value and promote innovative ideas, regardless of their origin.
The role
We are looking for a skilled and creative Producer/Director who will shoot and edit 2-3 minute videos aimed at young people, which will be hosted on the Unifrog platform.
You will collaborate with both internal and external contributors to organise film shoots. Our in-person productions utilise high-quality professional equipment, where you will work independently as the primary shooter, directing video stars, setting up equipment, conducting interviews and filming creative B-roll.
Our partners are located across the UK, so this role requires frequent travel for on-location filming.

Careers guides in partnership with employers such as the BBC, Royal Ballet and Opera and The Royal Navy.

University guides in partnership with several Universities in the UK and abroad.

Explainer videos launching new tools on our platforms.

Event videos for our Employer Forum event and partner events such as the Global Offshore Wind event.

A case study highlighting the impact of work experience opportunities from our employer partners on schools from disadvantaged backgrounds.
You’ll create videos like these, and you’ll also help us with our ambitious plans for creating completely new types of videos which will allow us to develop new parts of the Unifrog platform.
The role and your key responsibilities
-
Working with external partners: You’ll work with other people on the Unifrog team to organise shoots with external contributors, on location. You will need excellent interpersonal skills, and persistence so that you can make things happen. Strong adaptability skills are also required to make real-time improvements to existing scripts, if needed.

Directing shoots: Working primarily solo on shoots, you must be confident in directing on-location productions, managing video talent, and handling all other aspects of the shoot independently. You will also need strong storytelling and interviewing skills to bring our content to life.

Technical skills: You need to be able to operate cameras such as the A7S, to be competent with lights and sound, and to be proficient at using the Adobe suite, in particular Premiere Pro for any necessary edits.

Juggling projects and meeting deadlines: We always have lots of productions happening simultaneously, and we have very high standards for the end-product. You need to be organised to meet tight deadlines and determined to get things done on time, promptly communicating any challenges that may arise.

Editing Skills: You will also be responsible for editing videos as needed to help with the workload demands from the post-production team. This includes assembling footage to craft a compelling story, working with graphics templates, cutting to refine pacing and length, audio editing, and applying basic colour correction. Strong editing skills are essential to transform footage into engaging content while meeting tight deadlines.
