ActionAid UK are seeking a Campaigns Specialist To contribute to the delivery of public mobilisation campaigns on digital and offline channels in order to win campaigns and build a constituency of public support that enables women and girls living in poverty to claim their rights.

This role sits within the  Advocacy & Influencing department within AAUKs dynamic Advocacy Team. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with colleagues and in project teams to plan and deliver bold and highly compelling public campaigns based on audience insights and clear goals. Ensure web content is optimised and updated as necessary, produce compelling, authentic and authoritative content, ensure web content is optimised and updated as well as monitor and evaluate campaign performance using KPIs.

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience;

  • Experience of contributing to the delivery of impactful campaigns including understanding of change theory, power analysis, critical paths and audience insight
  • Experience of managing a digital supporter base and developing online supporter journeys
  • Strong understanding of digital tools and platforms (social media, email marketing, online petitions etc) with a focus on driving engagement and supporter acquisition
  • Experience in tracking, analysing and reporting on campaign metrics, translating data into actionable insights to optimise campaign performance
  • Good knowledge of Women’s and girls’ rights
  • Ability to write compelling and impactful content and products for online and offline channels Desirable:
  • Ability to identify campaigning and mobilisation opportunities and react quickly to events, using own initiative
  • Experience of constructively and collaboratively working across teams and building positive relationships with colleagues
  • Experience of working in coalition with sector partners
