Role Summary
The Director of International Communications will create and drive implementation of ProVeg's international communications strategy. The primary objectives are to amplify the activities and successes of the country offices and international programmes, enhance ProVeg's global visibility and reach new public audiences, and influence the public and policy narrative on healthy sustainable food systems. This role involves leading a dynamic and transformation-oriented team and working closely with international stakeholders such as country directors and partner organisations to develop innovative communication solutions.

Responsibilities
Strategic Communication and Transformation:
- Develop and execute a new international communications strategy to enhance ProVeg’s visibility and highlight the successes of the country offices.
- Establish ProVeg as a leading voice in plant-based nutrition and sustainable food systems through targeted campaigns and media outreach.
- Design and implement processes for effectively and quickly adapting country-specific developments for international communication.
- Oversee the development of content and own and third party channel strategies to maximise engagement with diverse B2B and B2C audiences.
- Integrate AI tools and strategies responsibly and innovatively (supported by leadership and (external) experts).
Fundraising Support and Collaboration:
- Collaborate closely with the international fundraising team to ensure alignment between communications strategies and fundraising goals.
- Develop compelling narratives and campaigns that inspire donor engagement and attract funding opportunities.
- Leverage communications channels, including digital platforms, media outreach, and storytelling, to showcase ProVeg’s impact and amplify fundraising initiatives..
Reputation Management:
- Enhance ProVeg’s public image through strategic media relations, innovative visual content, and compelling storytelling.
- Develop and implement crisis communication plans, identifying opportunities and risks for brand reputation.
- Balance B2B and B2C communications priorities to maintain positive brand perception.
Leadership Responsibilities:
- Lead a multicultural and multidisciplinary team, fostering creativity, innovation, impact and effectiveness.
- Promote a culture of collaboration and continuous development within the team.
Internal and External Collaboration:
- Work closely with country offices and international partners to create synergies and strengthen global strategies.
- Work closely with the Research and Policy teams to ensure our research and advocacy activities are supported by timely communications to drive real-world impact.
- Build and maintain relationships with media, influencers, and other relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications
Required:
- Proven experience in strategic communication in NGOs with an international focus, including those with a presence in the global south.
- Track record of developing targeted communications strategies to drive engagement with different audiences, including B2B and B2C.
- Demonstrated ability to design and execute communications strategies that drive advocacy goals and influence policymakers.
- Excellent skills in media relations and leading complex or multi-country communication projects.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and transform teams in an international context.
- Experience in fostering creativity, innovation, and collaboration within teams.
- Experience with visual media (videos, infographics, etc.).
- Expertise in crisis communication and managing brand perception.
- Experience in crafting inclusive messaging and ensuring culturally appropriate communications across diverse regions and audiences.
- Experience collaborating with fundraising teams to create compelling narratives for donor engagement and retention.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills (minimum C2-level English).
- Strong analytical skills and experience measuring the success of communication strategies.
- In-depth understanding of the challenges and opportunities in sustainable food systems.

GBV Charter Officer – Tackling Sexual Violence in Universities (England)
About EmilyTest
EmilyTest is a small but impactful Scottish charity dedicated to tackling gender-based violence (GBV) in education. We work with schools, colleges, and universities, helping them develop effective policies, procedures, and practices in GBV prevention, intervention, and support. Our mission is to ensure every young person can live, work, and study free from the harms of GBV.
The Role
We are seeking a GBV Charter Officer to lead the implementation of our Charter pilot across five universities in England, adapting our successful GBV Charter framework to this educational setting. One element of the pilot will involve adapting the existing framework to meet the new E6 Condition of Registration on addressing sexual violence in higher education.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with strong project management skills and a deep understanding of sexual violence in university settings. You will work closely with key stakeholders to ensure institutions enhance their policies, procedures, and practices in line with the minimum standards of the GBV Charter.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Coordination: Develop and manage a detailed project plan, setting objectives, timelines, and key milestones.
- Institutional Support: Work closely with pilot universities, providing guidance on GBV prevention, intervention, and support.

Job Description
The purpose of this role is to raise LMK’s profile and to engage LMK’s stakeholders in our services, campaigns and fundraising efforts by delivering impactful content across all of our online and offline communication channels in alignment with our vision, mission and strategic objectives. As a member of LMK’s core staff team, you will work with LMK staff, LMK Leaders (youth workers who deliver our workshops to young people), members of our Youth Advisory Board, trustees and key stakeholders to develop and implement our brand, marketing and social media strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Brand
- Co-develop LMK’s marketing strategy, leveraging key stakeholder input and action plans to support it
- Co-ownership of the execution of all marketing activities and materials, ensuring they reflect the brand and the values of the charity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Grants Fundraiser with a proven track record of success, to secure vital funding for our services for individuals with a learning disability and autistic people. You will play a central role in our charity, responsible for driving forward one of our key income streams.
The Trusts & Foundations Fundraising Manager will develop a robust pipeline of potential funders and devise a plan to achieve our annual income target of £225,000 from repeat and new funders. You will research and apply to charitable trusts for grants of varying sizes, including multi-year funding, while maintaining excellent stewardship to encourage repeat donations.
It’s an exciting time to join us, with innovative services, outcomes monitoring data, case studies, photos and testimonials and some cases for support already drafted. Whilst our priority is to raise funds for our existing services, we have plans for new service developments which will appeal to charitable trusts, corporate foundations and institutional donors (TNLCF). We have a broad appeal with a range of diverse services from playschemes, social groups for autistic teenagers, arts and drama sessions, family support, employability and independent living skills.
You will collaborate closely with the CEO, Head of Finance and Operations and Service Managers to align fundraising efforts with organisational goals and future plans. You will work alongside the Marketing Manager to gather materials to enhance our applications.
You will be persuasive communicator with excellent written skills and able to present our work in an emotive way, whilst upholding our organisational values.
With a minimum of 2 years’ successful experience in grant fundraising, preferably in a small local charity setting. Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders and understand the intricacies of our services to match to funders’ criteria.
Key Responsibilities
· To increase LinkAble’s income secured from Trusts and Foundations by developing a ‘Case for Support’ for each of our core projects.
· To co-ordinate a ‘database’ of current grant funders, with their history of support and project reporting deadlines.
· To research and develop a pipeline of potential trusts and foundations to approach, noting application deadlines and average giving levels with criteria to inform your approach.
· To submit high quality grant applications ahead of deadlines that have a good chance of success
· To provide stewardship of existing donors to capitalise on their support over time, ensure all gifts are thanked appropriately, sending regular update reports, annual report and supporter newsletters.
· Work with the Marketing Manager to access resources such as photos, quotes, case studies and to ensure the charity is presented in a way that is consistent with our branding.
· To work at part of the LinkAble team and attend fundraising events, challenge events and social activities.
· To work with colleagues across the team to develop fundraising projects and to package core costs in a way that is attractive to funders.
· To work closely with the Corporate and Community Fundraising Manager where there is cross over between corporate and community support and grant funding.
· To work with service managers to develop project budgets to present our work to funders in a tangible way that offers good value for money and matches the funders average giving level.
· Ensure all fundraising activities are ethical and carried out in line with our values, policies and procedures and within relevant legal frameworks
· Monitor the trust and foundations fundraising budget, highlighting variances against the budget at an early stage and taking corrective action.
· Contribute to writing tenders for new contracts as part of the bid team and support colleagues

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Recruit and induct new volunteers to support our services, working with the Services Director and the Training & Outreach Lead. Work with the service managers to review training and update training modules.
-Ensure there is appropriate training, support, supervision and acknowledgement for all volunteers and ensure recruitment and processes comply with the charity’s values & EDI requirements
-Research and write volunteer policies and procedures, including risk assessments.

Allocate Befrienders when required, ensuring there is an even spread of work between the befrienders
