The Policy and Campaigns Manager is responsible for leading on CLAPA’s campaigning and policy work across the UK.  This is a new direction for CLAPA and a key part of the role will be to develop a clear strategy and action plan to ensure a focused and targeted approach to this area of work.   

The post-holder is responsible for ensuring that work is delivered to the highest standard and that the wider staff team and board of trustees are kept informed on progress and development.

Our Ealing Young Champions programme has been developed over the last four years, and we have secured multi-year funding to run projects designed to engage and empower local young people to advocate for practical solutions to address the issues that they and their peers face. Whilst a core group has been established over time, the way the project is run will be set by the successful applicant according to their own experience of working with young people.

We are also about to begin an exciting new project, taking over a local Library and developing it as a hub for services for children, young people and families in Greenford, alongside a core library offer for the local community. The appointed person will be instrumental in engaging with local young people to ensure they have a say in how the building and services within it are developed.

Main Purpose of the role:

1. Manage the planning, recruitment and delivery of our Ealing Young Champions Youth Voice project

2. Advocate for and embed youth voice into the work of partners, stakeholders and members and identify new opportunities to develop youth voice and co-production programmes

3. Work with colleagues to set a strategy for embedding co-production in YEF’s organisational practice

4. To provide project management and support on youth engagement with the Greenford Library project

Financial Accountant

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Caxton Youth Organisation, a specialist youth charity, that empowers learning disabled and autistic young people aged 11-25 living in the London borough of Westminster.

We have a part-time, fully online/ remote role available to produce monthly management accounts, budgets and forecasts. The role requires good working knowledge and experience of Xero accounting software, as well as experience working with a small organisation.

We require someone to work 3-4 days a month. The working hours are flexible and would suit someone who may be re-entering the job market or is retiring, but looking for some additional work.

We have a Finance and Facilities Officer who is responsible for the day-to-day input of transactions into Xero, reconciling bank statements, producing invoices and remittance advice for grants and liaising with payroll. The payroll function is outsourced to CET Payroll. The unaudited financial statements are prepared by the independent examiner. The CEO is responsible for the financial management of the organisation.

Your role

CUF equips people and churches to build just and flourishing communities where they live, so everyone across England can access support when they need it most.

The Role

· Develop and project manage a programme of integrated communication campaigns that grab attention and encourage action to support our vision and mission.

• Work closely with the Fundraising and Membership Support Teams to develop aligned messaging and campaign assets and to deliver these across a variety of platforms.

Your first job will be to draft our Social Media and Creative Communications Plan, setting out the key opportunities, milestones and targets for the next few years.

You’ll be responsible for developing our brand presence across multiple social media platforms. You’ll manage authentic, highly-engaging campaigns that delight our community, creating emotional connections and delivering results.

An all-rounder with the ability to see social media and communication plans through from inception to delivery, you’ll be adept at creating and editing digital media as well as analysing their performance.

In this role you’ll work closely within our tight-knit team, reporting directly to the CEO.

Responsibilities

• Bring the brand to life on social media with compelling and consistently engaging creative communication.
• Draft and roll out a compelling Social Media and Creative Communications Plan.
• Set KPIs, work to targets, analyse and report on performance.
• Reacting quickly to opportunities and title deadlines, keeping pace with a dynamic agenda.
• Increase engagement for existing audiences while acquiring new followers.
• Lead the creation and delivery of email marketing to charity stakeholders and our wider community.
• Create and run a GTM calendar to plan and schedule posts and campaigns that support the brand strategy.
• Work with the Executive Director to design and deliver integrated digital fundraising campaigns.
• Provide support Social Media support to our Netherlands and Norway hubs as required.

Skills

• Minimum three years’ demonstrable experience working in social media & creative comms.
• Adept at developing and executing social media & communication plans from inception to creation to delivery to analysis.
• Skilled with digital editing software (Adobe Suite) as well as in-app editing on social media platforms.
• Able to write good copy, edit photos and video and create social native content.
• Skilled with Adobe Suite and able to learn new software quickly.
• Up to date with the latest trends, developments and opportunities on social media that align with the brand.
• An eye for excellent content, design and copy, understanding brand nuances like tone, personality and visual identity.
• Self-sufficient executor with a can-do attitude in a challenging and evolving environment.
• Comfortable working to targets, managing KPIs and delivering to deadlines.

The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Event Manager to help coordinate, plan and deliver Peace Direct’s 2025 global peacebuilding gathering to be held in Kenya. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale events from inception to completion. This role requires excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills to ensure the seamless execution of events.

This brand new role is a 14 month contract specifically developed to deliver and roll out the event. Along with two Event Assistants under your direction, you will be responsible for managing and implementing the programme, including handling travel arrangements (100+ bookings), including flights, hotels, and transportation. You will have a solid background evidencing strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to build a smooth rapport with internal and external stakeholders critical to the success of the event. Stakeholders will include local suppliers, peacebuilders, funders and direct engagement with the venue and service providers and key donors.

We are looking for someone with a keen eye for detail to ensure a high professional standard is maintained - even under work pressures - and with budget management experience of large projects (exceeding $250k), ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial and time constraints.

The Associate Director for Examinations and Training is a crucial and influential role at the College, as you will be responsible for providing leadership on the division’s work in relation to examinations, assessment and training standards, digital development and the College’s international relationships.

As Associate Director for Examinations and Training, you will actively contribute to the leadership of the division by providing guidance and assisting with directing the development and implementation of strategies in support of the division’s operational plan and the College’s overall strategy.

Reporting to the Executive Director of Education & Training, you will provide senior strategic direction and operational leadership for three reporting Departments, inspiring, motivating and empowering members of the division to build a high-performance culture, achieving transformational change in both divisional business and culture.

Providing senior leadership in managing and collaborating with external stakeholders and regulators both in the UK and internationally, you will sponsor and lead on strategic projects, including international, that cover multiple areas of divisional work. You will also provide recommendations and advice on business development to the Divisional Director and other committees through regular high-quality reports and data analysis.

Suitably qualified at graduate level or with relevant professional experience, you should have a background of working in a leadership role with a demonstratable ability to combine both strategic and operational leadership.

With proven knowledge and understanding of professional training, competency-based education and assessment and regulatory standards, you should also have demonstratable experience of competency-based education design and delivery.

You should have significant experience of initiating and leading programmes of change, generating new ideas and innovative ways of working and have experience in developing quality assurance procedures and systems.

Proven experience of managing multi-disciplinary personnel and of budgetary management, including budget preparation and forecasting, along with demonstrable strategic thinking and analytical skills, are essential.
