About the role

We are looking for 1 Youth Practitioner for our London Project. Please note we are keen to receive pplications from cadidates living in Lewisham, Greenwich and Croydon. 

As a Youth Practitioner, you’ll play a key role in keeping children safe from harm and supporting them and their families on a path to a brighter future. You’ll be part of a dynamic team delivering Railway Children’s programme in the UK, in partnership with British Transport Police (BTP).

Working with other Youth Practitioners in your project area, you will be responsible for supporting a number of young people who have been identified as being vulnerable on the transport system. The role will involve working directly with young people and their families to reduce risks, as well as building strong relationships other social care, Police, third sector agencies and local services in the area.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who has worked with vulnerable young people and families, with an in-depth understanding of the issues they face and the impact of trauma. With a relevant qualification in youth work or social care or equivalent experience, you’ll have experience of providing front line support to safeguard some of the most vulnerable young people in the UK. You’ll have the ability to engage young people, their parents or carers within the community and deliver direct support to address issues within the family unit.

About CoppaFeel!

CoppaFeel! are the UK’s only youth focused breast cancer awareness charity, and we’re on a mission to get every 18-24 year old checking their chest. We educate people on the signs of breast cancer and encourage them to check their chests monthly, so that if they notice something unusual they are empowered to contact their GP and advocate for themselves.

We do this because when diagnosed early, breast cancer treatments are more effective and survival rates are higher. Early detection can save lives.

Breast cancer does not need to be detected late, and as long as we are here and continue to be supported by people like you, we will do all we can to make sure this doesn’t continue to happen.

The Role

CoppaFeel! are looking for a Marketing Executive who will play an integral role within the Marketing team in supporting our 3-year organisational growth strategy. The Marketing Executive will support the amplification of our message through innovative brand campaigns, activating content creator briefs and executing brand partnerships.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and impact of CoppaFeel!'s work, ensuring that our awareness message reaches and resonates with our 18 - 24 year old target audience.

The Marketing Executive will sit within the CoppaFeel! Marketing Team and report to the Marketing Manager, working closely with the social media and digital marketing sub-teams. Beyond supporting with content strategies and execution across organic and paid channels, this role will also support the Marketing Manager as a brand guardian, overseeing the design process and ensure that brand guidelines are adhered to across all outputs throughout the organisation.

This role is essential in helping us achieve our mission of empowering young people to check their chests monthly. By ensuring our brand marketing efforts are engaging, impactful, and aligned with our core messaging, the Marketing Executive will directly contribute to the success of CoppaFeel!’s mission. We’re looking for someone who can combine strategic thinking with creativity, has a proactive approach to their work and strong attention to detail.

This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that you will attend the London office two days per week. You will also be required to attend the office for quarterly team meetings, department meetings, and in-person training. We will provide plenty of notice for when you are required to be in for these purposes. While this is a hybrid role, you are also welcome to work from our office space more regularly if you prefer.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of brand marketing campaigns, ensuring they are executed on time, within budget, and aligned with CoppaFeel!’s tone and mission.
• Manage relationships with content creators through identification, briefing, delivery and reporting. Ensuring alignment with brand tone of voice and messaging.
• Coordinate marketing initiatives across various platforms, including digital, social media, and events.
• Support in managing relationships with external creative agencies, paid media agencies, corporate partners and storytellers.
• Collaborate with the wider Education, Fundraising and Operations teams to ensure brand consistency across all touch points.
• Stay ahead of emerging trends by researching and identifying opportunities to engage with our core 18 - 24 year old audience.
• Support overseeing the design process, working with designers and ensuring that all outputs adhere to CoppaFeel!’s brand guidelines.
• Track and optimise paid media, sharing insights and making recommendations for continual improvement.
• Work closely with the Events Manager to ensure consistent branding and messaging of awareness events.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

Essential

• Proven experience in a marketing role (1 year+), preferably with a focus on brand marketing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences.
• Strong project management skills and organisation skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage deadlines effectively.
• Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and design.
• Knowledge of influencer marketing and experience working with content creators.
• Passion for CoppaFeel!’s mission and a desire to make a meaningful impact.
• Evident understanding /experience targeting 18 - 24 year old audience.
• Experience in building and managing internal relationships, working collaboratively across teams to align on goals and deliver projects effectively.

Desirable

• Familiarity with analytics platforms (e.g. Google Analytics, Sprout Social) and experience reporting.
• Strong understanding of social media and digital platforms, trends, and best practices.
• Experience running paid social media campaigns (e.g. TikTok SparkAds).
• Relevant marketing qualification or training.

This is a new and exciting role to support the Hepatitis C Follow Me Project and the Liver Surveillance Project, specifically for Eastern European communities across West London. 

The Hepatitis C Trust develops projects nationally where peers use their lived experience of injecting drug use and hepatitis C, to provide education and training, increase hepatitis C awareness, and access to testing and treatment for people living with hepatitis C.

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Peer Support Lead who is fluent in Russian and Lithuanian and has excellent communication and organisational skills.

Working in partnership with hepatitis C & liver surveillance teams, drug and alcohol services and homeless service providers, the post holder will deliver education on hepatitis C & Liver Health to Eastern European communities deemed at risk of HCV infection & liver disease across all of the West London ODN area and ensure that everyone is offered and supported to treatment. Working under the guidance of the Peer Programme Manager the post holder will ensure that Eastern European people with an identified diagnosis of hepatitis C & liver cirrhosis are offered a referral to specialist hepatitis treatment & liver surveillance services in West London area.

About you

Do you want to use your skills to make it possible for people with myeloma, an incurable blood cancer, to live longer and better lives?

Myeloma UK is looking for a motivated and highly pro-active Trusts and Grants Officer to join our Philanthropy team within the wider Fundraising directorate. We welcome applications from people with prior experience or transferable skills who want to explore trusts and grants fundraising and/or fundraising within the health sector. The successful candidate will have a passion for writing, excellent organisational, presentation, communication and record-keeping skills, with an ability to understand and interpret financial data.  The post holder will need to be self-motivated and a team player, with flexibility and a willingness to develop and expand the role. In this exciting position, you’ll have the opportunity to draft compelling proposals, identify and cultivate relationships with grant making organisations, and secure gifts ranging from £100 to £10,000.

Experience of fundraising from charitable trusts and foundations, building project budgets and the use of the Raisers Edge CRM system as well as knowledge of prospective funders within the trust and foundation and corporate sectors would be advantageous, but not essential.

About the role

Myeloma UK has an ambitious plan for income growth. We launched a new organisational strategy in 2024 and will launch our new research strategy in mid-2025. We’re making amazing progress in the research and treatment of myeloma – but we need to go further, faster. This position will play a critical role securing grants of up to £10K from trusts, foundations, and grant funders for a range of innovative and life-changing programmes – including patient and family support, research and advocacy.  The role will work closely with the Senior Trusts and Grants Officer, who leads on the medium and large grants programme, and income from pharmaceutical partners.

The post holder will deliver the grant process from start-to-finish including administration, research, and managing and growing a pipeline of small trusts. You will work with colleagues from across the charity to build high quality proposals and develop reports for funders. You will also work directly with funders to understand their priorities and offer excellent stewardship.

A little bit about the role 

The Finance Officer will play a vital role within the Finance team being a trusted partner to our colleagues who are creating social change for children who do not have a safe or stable home. ​

You will take ownership of the purchase ledger and manage documents from receipts in ExpenseIn through to supplier payment. You will resolve issues with suppliers as they arise and maintain effective communications with suppliers. You will be responsible for accurately processing other transactions and inputting them into the accounting system (XERO), such as bank, petty cash and sales invoices. You will support the Finance team with other administrative tasks including month end closing.

Some key responsibilities include:

• Preparing accurate weekly payment runs using online banking software
• Managing the purchase ledger, including invoices, supplier setup, account coding, and purchase order matching, while resolving supplier issues.
• Managing the finance team inbox
• Supporting delivery team with credit control
• Adhering to the organisation’s financial policies and assist other departments in doing the same

A little bit about you 

This role will suit someone with strong experience in purchase ledger management within a medium-sized organisation, ideally within a charity but not essential. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, proactive, and confident in handling online approval workflows and purchase order systems.

They should have a solid understanding of bookkeeping principles and a track record of improving finance or administrative processes. While an AAT qualification or equivalent is desirable, practical experience is key. The panel is looking for someone detail-orientated, efficient, and capable of working independently while collaborating effectively across teams.

We have a fast-moving culture within the team and organisation, so we’re looking for someone who is who is well organised, details-focused and can use their initiative to do what works. You will have excellent communication skills, be able to build relationships with people and be willing to learn. Young Adult Carers Service Coordinator

Carers’ Hub works to improve carers’ lives in Lambeth through quality services and community engagement. We are an independent local charity, who work with carers aged five upwards. Whether financial, educational or otherwise, they seek to limit the challenges that carers face and achieve this by improving carer’s wellbeing, connecting carers to support and training opportunities, awareness raising and influencing local policy. We are now recruiting for a Young Adult Carers Service Coordinator to join our team.

As the Young Adult Carers Service Coordinator you will: 

• Deliver an engaging, accessible range of workshops, social activities and one to one support for our young adult carers, working to targets and ensuring timely and accurate reporting to funders.

• Support the wider young carers service by being a first point of contact for telephone and email enquiries. 

• Develop external relationships and communications in a way that promotes the welfare of carers in Lambeth and enhances the image of the organisation. 

• Work with the Carers' Hub team to support our wider organisational objectives and helping out with events, communications and other ad hoc work.

To be considered for this role you will have experience of working with vulnerable young people and managing complex cases as well as knowledge of safeguarding protocols including referring and escalation to Children’s Social Care. Candidates with a professional qualification in health and social care, youth or community work, and/or direct experience of delivering family focused interventions are encouraged to apply. 

Please note, this is a part-time role, 21-hours per week, ideally spread across 3 days. You will be based on site at our Brixton office, with the option of home working 1 day per week, as well as outreach/in the community. You will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS for Adults and children.

About Bristol Avon Rivers Trust (BART)

Founded in 2012, the Bristol Avon Rivers Trust (BART) is a charity dedicated to restoring and protecting the rivers of the Bristol Avon. Guided by an evidence-based, ecosystem-wide approach, we focus on the health of the entire catchment, not just the rivers themselves.

The post holder will join a growing, ambitious team delivering multi-benefit projects to protect and improve the Bristol Avon catchment, and the Trust Administrator will play a key role in supporting the smooth delivery of the Trust’s operations.

 Job summary and purpose

The Trust Administrator is responsible for maintaining the core administrative functions of the Trust to ensure the smooth operation of the charity, enabling its mission to ensure healthy rivers for wildlife and people.

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, the Trust Administrator will work with a range of internal and external contacts to ensure routine business functions, human and physical resources, supporter and governance liaison are working well. The role will involve working closely with the Chief Executive, but also with other members of the team, Trustees, supporters and suppliers.

The role will require exceptional organisational skills, excellent interpersonal skills, an attention to detail, and working flexibly in an agile environment. Experience of organisational administration in the public, private or charity sector, and experience of HR, meetings administration and IT are essential while purchasing and negotiating with suppliers is desirable. A helpful and positive attitude is needed, as is a willingness to embrace flexible ways of working. Adherence to certain policies and procedures is essential, including requirements such as data confidentiality and upholding a culture of professionalism.

Whilst the role is predominantly aimed at internal support, including for Trustees and supporters, external liaison will be required with suppliers, funders, partners, and the public.

Duties and responsibilities

1. Organisational administration

• Take ownership of core business administrative functions including the office space, monitoring and maintaining resources, monitoring inboxes.

The Whiteley Homes Trust “the Trust” is a charity that manages Whiteley Village in Surrey. The purpose of the charity is to provide homes for older people of limited means from all over the country.  Founded over a hundred years ago in Walton on Thames, Surrey, the Village is located in 225 acres of beautiful grounds and is a very special place to live and work.

Established in 1917 the village has many Grade 2 listed buildings and provides housing for nearly 400 older people of limited means. There are 265 Almshouses and 51 extra care apartments and the Village also has a church, social and leisure club, shop and café.

We became a Registered Provider in 2024 and the Head of Housing will lead on the Trust’s strategic and operational delivery of our housing management services.

You will have a strong background in in housing management and will lead a small team to deliver an efficient, professional and cost-effective service with high levels of customer satisfaction.  You will understand the support needs of our residents whilst meeting regulatory requirements of the Regulator for Social Housing, the Care Quality Commission and upholding the standards set by the Almshouse Association.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will be responsible for all aspects of housing management including applications, allocations and lettings, income collection, managing antisocial behaviour and other breaches and supporting residents to manage their licences or tenancies. The position will be accountable for making business decisions that align to the Trust’s strategic goals, vision and objectives.

The role will have line management responsibility for the Housing Team and a close working relationship with the Head of Property, Head of Community Services and the Registered Manager of the Extra Care facility.

What will you be doing?

Main Responsibilities

• Leading and developing the Housing team to ensure they provide an excellent service for residents.
• Ensure the Trust’s housing management systems and controls are effective and robust, and that the Trust is fully compliant with all Landlord obligations, relevant laws, regulations and quality standards of the Regulator of Social Housing, the Care Quality Commission and the Social Housing Regulation Act 2023.
• Line Manage the Housing team with responsibility for recruiting, training, motivating, performance management and absence management ensuring an efficient, professional, responsive and customer led service.
• Maximise the Trust’s income by effective management of arrears associated with licence agreements, maintenance charges, rents and service charges and to take appropriate action to recover debts incurred.
• Manage antisocial behaviour and other breaches in line with the Trust policy as well as taking a proactive approach to resolving neighbour disputes and anti-social behaviour.
• Work with the Head of Property to develop an effective void strategy that ensures properties are let to a good standard while minimising void times and costs.
• Record KPIs and report to the Leadership Team monthly and implement processes to ensure targets are met.
• Review and update Housing policies where required.
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with residents, managers, colleagues and external stakeholders.
• Investigate and respond to all Housing Services complaints within set timescales and proactively deal with issues prior to becoming a complaint.
