Through our packed event programme available in person or online, our UK schools outreach and social impact initiatives, and our global digital reach including over 1.5m YouTube subscribers we achieve our mission by connecting people with scientists to explore science together.

We are looking for an ambitious and dedicated Trusts and Foundations Manager to cultivate and develop the relationships that will enable the Ri to achieve our strategy as we pursue new projects and reach more beneficiaries.

The role is key in maximising income from charitable trusts and foundations, collaborating across the Ri to develop innovative and compelling proposals, delivering excellent account management and stewardship to existing donors, and identifying, researching and engaging new prospects.

You will develop cultivation strategies for current and prospective charitable trusts and foundations and research relevant trusts and grant making bodies to prepare, write and submit applications. You will use your outstanding relationship building and networking skills to build relationships with trust and foundations that are new or lapsed and create opportunities to introduce the work of the Ri.

About you

Driven and motivated, you will be an engaging communicator and creative thinker with experience at writing persuasive funding proposals and the ability to communicate complex messages to a range of audiences.

Do you have:

· Substantial experience of fundraising in the cultural or similar sector,

· Trusts and foundations fundraising experience and knowledge of public sector income streams and trust and foundation practices and principles

· Experience preparing fundraising applications, and a track record of fundraising success

· Demonstrable experience of maximising opportunities from researching prospects. generating meetings, securing income and managing relationships with donors

· Ability to tackle challenges constructively, and find creative ways forward?

User Voice exists to reduce reoffending and improve rehabilitation by working with those who are often not heard. One of the main ways that we do this is through our council model, which allows those currently in prison, or on licence, to have their say and contribute ideas and solutions to benefit everyone. We are looking for a leader who has a genuine desire to see real change for individuals, institutions and the criminal justice system as a whole. You will bring sharp strategic thinking and an enterprising mindset, with the ability to spot new opportunities for us to have an even greater impact, combined with an authentic and inspiring management style that brings the whole team with you on that journey. A natural ambassador and external advocate, you will also be enthusiastic about partnerships and able to ensure that User Voice, as a small charity, has a powerful and credible voice externally.

The journey won’t always be easy, and so you will need to be resilient; though you will have an excellent team behind you that is rich with lived experience. And you will also be supported by a committed Board of Trustees, who are all passionate about what we do and who have the enthusiasm to be different and step outside our comfort zone.

​Location:Home/Birmingham-based with frequent travel to projects in West Midlands

As Project Support Officer you will support the Area Manager and Regional Manager with volunteer recruitment, documentation of training, giving our volunteers a fantastic experience, guest outreach and giving extra support to our West Midlands projects as and when required to aid development and growth within the region.​​​

Each of our Projects is run by Project Leaders (volunteer position) and supported by Regional Managers through recruitment and training of volunteers. You will support the Regional Managers so that they can manage more projects, knowing that you have helped with the embedding of volunteers, along with supporting expansion plans within their areas. This support could range from developing relationships with our food suppliers, researching local organisations to support with guest outreach, and recruiting new Project Leaders for the Area.​

You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be able to talk confidently to external people about our Projects.​You will also be a good organizer, with the ability to manage multiple tasks within multiple Projects. You will have a passion for food and cooking, and be committed to our objectives and ethics.​

This role will require some attendance at our Community Meals projects, to support with delivery as necessary, which will include some evening and weekend work. A full driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential for this exciting role.​

Tall Ships Youth Trust (TSYT) is a youth development outdoor learning charity which has been improving the skills and life chances of disadvantaged young people since 1956.

We envision a world where all young people strive to create better outcomes for themselves and for their communities. To do this, out on the ocean we empower young people to realise their true potential, supporting them on their journey to adulthood and for some, into volunteering and careers in the maritime sector and the blue economy.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part time Trusts & Grants fundraiser to join our small, hardworking team.

The role holder will contribute towards achieving our ambitious yearly income target by helping to maintain our well-established Trusts & Grants portfolio, as well as identifying new funding opportunities as we seek to grow and diversify this income stream.

Responsibilities will include developing and submitting winning funding proposals, reporting on funds spent, and excellent stewardship. A key focus will be understanding local needs and collaboratively planning, designing, and delivering support activities. You will build and maintain excellent relationships with our wonderful volunteers, care centres/networks, care co-ordinators and multi-disciplinary health and social care professionals, hospices, other partners.

• Identify and address support issues by working with volunteers and individuals affected by MND.
• Guide collaboration within the branch and group network, fostering a supportive environment.
• Proactively manage the recruitment, selection, and induction of volunteers.

This is an exciting new role in the Fundraising Team. The Digital Fundraising and Engagement Manager will play a key role in enhancing the charity’s online fundraising presence, leveraging our digital channels to drive awareness of the impact, and the need to engage both existing and potential supporters in fundraising initiatives and putting the donor at the centre of what we do.

Growing Hope is a charity that champions accessibility and provides free therapy for children and young people with additional needs in partnership with local churches across the UK. We aim to grow hope for children, hope for families and hope in Jesus.

Growing Hope was founded in December 2017 and has a vision to see 20 clinics set up across the UK by 2030. We have five clinics, King’s Cross, Brockley, High Wycombe, Gateshead and Redbridge. We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to our senior leadership team of four individuals – our CEO, Executive Director of Services, Director of Operations, and Director of Growth. Job Purpose
As Growing Hope reaches towards its vision to have twenty clinics by 2030, the Senior Team require additional support in order that they can fulfil the strategic direction of their roles. United Kingdom for UNHCR is the United Nations Refugee Agency’s national charity partner for the United Kingdom. We generate public awareness of the plight of refugees and raise funds to help protect them through UNHCR’s humanitarian operations across the world.

JOB PURPOSE

UK for UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency's national charity partner, is looking for an ambitious and proactive Senior Corporate Partnerships Officer to join the Private Partnerships & Philanthropy team.

ROLE RESPONSIBLITIES

• Account management of a portfolio of high value partnerships, providing first-class relationship management and maximising value, including financial, advocacy, pro bono and in-kind support. 
• Work with existing corporate engagement products and support the development of new employee fundraising ideas. 
• Research new trends and innovations and emerging areas of interest for corporate partners.
• Act as team lead for quarterly corporate e-newsletter.
• Remain flexible and quickly respond to emergency situations, identifying and responding to fundraising opportunities.
• Support a calendar of cultivation and stewardship events and identify visibility opportunities for UK for UNHCR.
• Collaborate with UK and international Private Partnerships & Philanthropy colleagues where possible to strengthen engagement with partners and prospects across channels. 
• Support Senior New Business Officer with prospecting, research and cultivation in designated sectors.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate data on donors on Salesforce and SharePoint

 
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND EXPERIENCE 
Essential Experience

• A track record of stewarding and maximising multi-year corporate partnership(s), preferably within the charity sector.
• A track record of devising and delivering bespoke and engaging partnership fundraising plans and campaigns to increase income.
• Experience of communicating complex themes and subjects to a variety of audiences, written and verbal.
• Experience of event management and co-ordination to engage corporates and their employees

Essential Skills/Knowledge  

• Ability to act proactively to identify new engagement and fundraising opportunities.
• Ability to juggle and prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines within a collaborative team environment.     
• Good attention to detail, strong ability to proof-read and pick up inconsistencies.
• Able to demonstrate flexibility, with a willingness to respond quickly, particularly at times of humanitarian crisis.
• Strong presentation, communication (written and verbal) skills, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent stakeholder and relationship management skills. 
• Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project skills.

Desirable Skills/Experience

• Managing corporate partnerships with the retail/consumer-facing sectors.
• Managing gift-in-kind donations.
• Building a new business pipeline and successfully securing new income.
• Experience of working in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
• Passionate interest in refugee or broader charity sector, and the drive to further your fundraising knowledge.

Lingen Davies Cancer Fund exists to enhance cancer services and improve lives in Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin, and Mid Wales. Founded in 1979, with the aim of bringing cancer services to Shropshire for the first time, our work is now focused in three key areas: cancer prevention and early diagnosis, excellent treatment delivered locally, and living well with and beyond cancer.

Two of our Fundraising Team have recently departed for exciting new projects, and we have taken this opportunity to create some different posts within the team. We really value our relationships with businesses and major donors around the region, and we are very pleased to be recruiting to this role, which will build capacity and focus in this area.

Our Relationship Fundraiser will work closely with colleagues across the charity to deliver excellent supporter care and stewardship, building long term relationships for Lingen Davies Cancer Fund. Attending a range of community events and networking opportunities to act as the face of the charity, including delivery of presentations, and to raise our profile across the region.

You will be responsible for maintaining and growing relationships with local businesses, and ensuring excellent stewardship of our donors, especially those giving larger philanthropic contributions.

You will also take the lead on our Friends of Lingen Davies scheme for regular donors, ensuring they are kept informed and engaged, and building their numbers.

You will work with colleagues to develop the use of our CRM system and apply data analysis to support delivery of the role, and to develop future plans and direction. You will be self-managing, motivated, have excellent interpersonal skills and be computer savvy!

We will consider candidates looking for either full time (37.5 hours) or 0.8FTE (30 hours) for this role. There will be work outside of office hours where TOIL will be occurred.
