The Role
Each day you will travel to different venues, set up an attractive fundraising stand, and spend the day actively engaging with members of the public, spreading awareness about our conservation efforts and inspiring individuals to become lifelong members.

As a Debt, Benefits and Money Adviser, you will provide a comprehensive community-based debt advice service to beneficiaries who are experiencing difficulties, advising on their legal position and all the suitable options available through a mixture of face-to-face, telephone and email interactions.
In addition, you will carry out income maximisation through identifying and advising on benefit entitlement, and the take up of appropriate benefits. There is an expectation you will also deliver specialist level welfare benefits casework including the preparation of written submissions and representation at appeal tribunals. To achieve this, full training and coaching is provided with an expectation to complete the training framework and sign off process within two years of appointment.
The role is home based with occasional travel required throughout Belfast and Northern Ireland. This includes travel to home visits and tribunal locations. In addition, travel to team meetings and training, usually in London, is required. We do cover travel expenses.
Living within the Belfast area or in commutable distance to the area is essential in being able to undertake this role.

- Service Provision: Supporting the Project Manager with the daily operations of the services so that they meet the requirements of the service specification. Oversee the residents’ referral, interview and induction processes for all beds and ensure the Occupancy Agreements and House Rules are fully understood. Ensure the quality of accommodation that is provided, liaising with the Housing and Property Services Team to complete estate inspections and health & safety risk assessments, and to turn around voids and organise repairs in line with organisational targets and statutory obligations. With the Project Manager ensure effective income collection for all beds, working closely with the Rents Team to create a rent payment culture.
- Leadership and People Management: Directly line managing team members and supporting the Project Manager in recruiting and inducting new staff. Ensuring the team is adequately trained and empowered to work effectively and creatively with our young people to enable them to achieve their aspirations and ambitions.

About the Charity
The Environment Investigation Agency investigate and campaign against environmental crime and abuse. Their undercover investigations expose transnational wildlife crime, with a focus on elephants and tigers, and forest crimes such as illegal logging and deforestation for cash crops like palm oil. The EIA work to safeguard global marine ecosystems by addressing the threats posed by plastic pollution, bycatch and commercial exploitation of whales, dolphins and porpoises. Finally, EIA aims to reduce the impact of climate change by campaigning to eliminate powerful refrigerant greenhouse gases, exposing related illicit trade and improving energy efficiency in the cooling sector.
About the Role
This is an exciting time to join EIA as the fundraising team grows. As the Philanthropy Manager, you will lead on the development and delivery of a new philanthropy programme, which includes developing tailored stewardship programmes for High Net Worth Individuals (HNWIs), expanding the donor base through effective prospecting and cultivation, and working with campaign teams to develop donor funding propositions. This is an exciting opportunity to work with the Head of Fundraising to shape and grow this integral income stream, drawing on your robust philanthropy fundraising experience and applying your dynamic approach to engage prospective partners and develop existing relationships.

The Children's Society has been helping children and young people in this country for over 140 years. We run local services that support young people when they are at their most vulnerable and in desperate need of help. We're there for young people, every step of the way.
This role sits within our children and families directorate, which works to provide immediate one-to-one and group support for young people who urgently need support. Your role will be to help us maintain and develop innovative practice to support our work in our services within the Essex area.
We wish to recruit 2 Substance Misuse Practitioners to join our established Essex Young Peoples Drug and Alcohol Team (EYPDAS) supporting young people aged 8-25 who are using or misusing substances.
You will provide direct therapeutic support to vulnerable young people, vulnerable young adults and families who are affected by substance use.
Support offered will include one to one face to face interventions, targeted group work & online support across the County. You may also facilitate training around substances for statutory and voluntary agencies across the County.
The young people will require a skilled practitioner who is experienced in working with hard to reach, vulnerable young people at risk and using trauma informed therapeutic approaches. You should have experience of facilitating groups with knowledge of the issues and legislation affecting young people who are using or misusing substances.
What we are looking for...
-You will have substantial experience in working with vulnerable young people either in a paid or unpaid capacity. To be able to evidence your ability to build positive relationships with groups of young people to raise awareness about substance use and the associated risks and impact.
-You will have experience of carrying out individual and group work interventions with young people & adults.
-You will have experience in using Microsoft Office Applications and other relevant data systems.
-You can demonstrate the ability to work on your own initiative as well as be able to contribute to a multi-agency approach so as to enable effective interventions with young people, including delivering training to a range of professionals.
-You hold a full UK drivers license and have access to you own transport.

The Role
Many of the people accessing RSC services face multiple challenges beyond those presented by problematic substance use. Some people are homeless or are facing loss of accommodation, they may have a history of repeat homeless and struggle to remain in their home without support. Some people have a history of offending and may have spent periods of time in prison and under the supervision of the Probation Service. People facing these multiple challenges are more likely to also have a history of mental ill-health, trauma and adverse childhood experiences, and are the group that are at the highest risk of harm among those who access the RSC service.
The Housing & Criminal Justice Pathways worker role is to support people facing these multiple, complex and interlinked challenges. Building trusting relationships with the people you will support can be a difficult, frustrating and challenging process - challenging stigma, barriers and "closed doors" along the way. As a result the role is also highly diverse and rewarding, as you support people through their recovery journey.
You will be working within the wider RSC South Cumbria Team. This is a multi-disciplinary recovery team comprising Recovery Coordinators, Hope workers, Medics, a Counsellor, a Housing and Criminal Justice Pathways worker, an Employment specialist, an Admin team and Volunteers. They are a supportive and welcoming team, who are passionate about supporting and promoting recovery for those they care for and within their local community.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage a caseload, devising, implementing, and reviewing on-going co-produced support plans
· Supporting individuals to access and maintain engagement with wider support services including Recovery Coordinators, Probation Practitioners, Housing Options Teams and Housing Officers, and Mental Health teams
· Working collaboratively with key partners and colleagues to achieve the best health and well-being outcomes for individuals

· Good general education with GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
