About the role
The newly-created role of Digital Content & Campaigns Manager will sit within the National Communications Team to support the delivery of key charity and federation-wide objectives.
As part of our mission to empower people affected by homelessness and poverty, the role will work to harness the potential of multimedia content to demonstrate the breadth of our activities and impact, but also raise the voices of people who have experienced homelessness
The role will be instrumental in the implementation of an evolved Emmaus brand language and visuals across websites, social media and other digital channels, and will work to embed measurement and monitoring processes to grow our reach.
Working with the National Communications Manager, the role will be central to the delivery of communications, fundraising and influence objectives with a strategic focus, while being hands-on in delivering standout content.

The Peer Support Coordinator will play a critical role in the delivery of Day One's Peer Support Service. The primary objectives are to ensure a high-quality service is delivered to our beneficiaries; to develop our regional peer support model; and to facilitate a positive volunteering experience for our lived experience volunteer team. Responsibilities will include the day-to-day coordination of peer support activity. The postholder will contribute to building a diverse volunteer team by supporting the volunteer recruitment and induction processes. The Baobab Centre is a non-residential therapeutic community that supports young asylum seekers and refugees who have experienced human rights abuses and have sought asylum in the UK as unaccompanied minors. Our two focus areas are rehabilitation and justice.
This is a unique opportunity for a passionate and experienced fundraiser to progress further in their career, with the freedom to creatively enhance and develop the fundraising strategy of an impactful community-based charity.
As Senior Fundraising Lead you will be Baobab’s key fundraiser and a self-starter with experience of working in a small or medium sized charity. You will lead on the development of fundraising at Baobab, exploring new avenues for funding, as well as nurturing and growing existing fundraising relationships. You will be responsible for strategising and carrying out a successful program of fundraising from small, medium and large charitable trusts and foundations to an agreed annual fundraising target. You will also assist in delivering Baobab’s individual major donor programme, helping to set up and deliver communications and events related to this income stream. There is scope to explore further fundraising activites including events, corporate and community fundraising. You will play a central role and work closely with our operations team, as well as recieving expert monthly mentoring from a senoir fundraising consultant.

The charity is 9 years old, and initially started its work in Blackpool, the community facing the highest multiple deprivation in the country, before starting to scale. Children's Rights Advocacy Worker
Barnardo's: Your Rights, Your Voice is an umbrella service that manages a portfolio of Children's Rights and Advocacy contracts.
Barnardo's is commissioned locally to provide a visiting Children's Rights and Advocacy Service to children and young people being held at Barton Moss SCC. In addition, Barnardo's is commissioned by the MoJ to provide a service to the wider secure estate: all Secure Training Centres (STC's) and Young Offender Institutions (YOI's) across England and Wales.
Our service objective is to provide knowledge on Children's Rights, independent advice, support and advocacy services to children and young people in accordance with the aims and objectives of Barnardo's: Your Rights, Your Voice (Secure Estate), the Children Act (1989, 2004), United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child and the National Advocacy Standards (DOH, 2002).
In addition, to work as part of a team to deliver an effective and efficient service which empowers children and young people detained within a secure setting to have a voice, access available services and entitlements. Also to ensure their rights are being met in relation to issues relating to their welfare, care and treatment.

We are a community of 22 staff (15 full-time equivalent), 150 volunteers, and over a thousand Centre Members from 86 countries. The post-holder is responsible for overseeing the development and management of all membership-related systems, effective supplier relationship management, payment processing, financial reconciliation, and membership budgeting and forecasting. This is also an exciting time to join our fantastic team as we move into the delivery phase of a project to replace and upgrade our current CRM system to Salesforce.
Managing the Supporter Services Coordinator, you’ll ensure the delivery of outstanding customer service to our members, donors, and prospects – ultimately supporting Art Fund’s vision to open the doors to great art and culture for everyone.
You’ll also have substantial supplier management experience (ideally within a customer-facing service environment) with the ability to proactively manage supplier contracts and relationships to maintain the best-possible service and value. Critically, you will be proficient in managing and automating complex processes utilising a variety of systems including CRM and other SaaS systems with support from an in-house tech team.
As a senior team member, the post-holder will possess excellent stakeholder management skills and a track-record of working collaboratively to achieve transformative change.

The role will:

Finance duties
- Work with the CEO to ensure good financial practices in place and bring to the immediate attention of the CEO, SLT, the Finance & HR Committee (FHRC) and Trustees, as appropriate, any and all areas of financial and risk control.
- Manage the overall financial strategy, preparing 3-year plans, budgets, forecasts & monthly management accounts which are prepared accurately and delivered in a timely manner.
- Produce and monitor a cash flow forecast and highlight any risks to the organisation.
- Monitor and explain variances and ensure timely action to correct any issues.
- Together with HR, prepare monthly payroll instruction, check payroll and organise timely payment. Work with HR, to ensure HR documentation is consistent with payroll and forecast.
- Ensure all sales and purchase transactions are processed in a timely and accurate manner. Work with SLT to ensure necessary in place contractual and purchase order documentation in place for income.
- Maintain accounting controls and implement policies and procedures which meet the requirements of SORP and ensure a secure and confidential financial system with appropriate backups.
- Manage financial audits including all necessary preparatory work and interface with auditors.
- Identify areas for financial process improvement and streamlining.

This is a part time position, (14 hours per week), based remotely. You will be expected to attend Barnet (N12) and Enfield (N9) offices when necessary.
