We are looking for a marketing and communications professional with excellent written skills to help share the stories behind the people and the charity. From promoting breaking news and covering live events, to marketing upcoming opportunities and representing the stories of the Soundabout community, this is a varied and exciting role, where a breadth of creative and digital skills is essential. As part of a small but passionate organisation, this role is key to developing our supporter base, increasing engagement with and awareness of the charity, promoting our services, and increasing our fundraising efforts using a mix of storytelling, marketing, videography and photography, research, and other communications tools. Key Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for marketing and communications at Soundabout which includes:
• Review, update, and deliver a marketing and communications strategy and calendar to support Soundabout's goals, supported by the CEO.
• Plan and deliver strategic marketing campaigns and events (mostly digital), with strategic support from the CEO, including an annual winter fundraising campaign and ad host virtual events to promote Soundabout and build stakeholder relations.
• Develop, manage, and update the content on Soundabout's main website (WordPress), keeping it compelling, accessible, and on brand for all our key audiences.
• Maintain and update the Soundabout Families and Soundabout Choir Hubs websites, ensuring they stay up-to-date and on brand.
• Create, publish, and schedule posts for Soundabout's social media channels with the aim of engaging and growing our audience and in line with strategy, working with the CEO and wider team to determine content. Replying to and moderating conversations in our community spaces. We are currently active on Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and Bluesky.
• Design digital and printed marketing materials and publications, such as newsletters, annual reports / impact reports, and flyers for our different audiences.
• Collate content from across the team, to write and circulate newsletters and ad hoc bulletins, editing content so it is coherent in style, using MailChimp.
• Maintain brand consistency across all communications and craft clear, engaging, and inspiring market copy and compelling communications about Soundabout’s work.
• Collaborate with colleagues and the Soundabout community to collect and share their stories in an authentic and respectful way, further developing Soundabout’s storytelling work.
• Work with Administrator to review mailing lists set up on Salesforce (our CRM system).
• Promoting Soundabout’s commissionable activities, maintaining regular communications with commissioners, and proactively anticipating and negotiating renewals.
• Drafting and circulating thank you letters and other regular communications with Soundabout donors, funders, supporters, as directed by CEO.
• Be innovative: review and implement new technologies to improve our campaigns, drive engagement and boost supporter experience.
• Be reflective: review campaigns and proactively adapt plans to optimise future results. Provide analytics for reporting.
• Share stories externally, utilising publications / journals / virtual spaces related to the sectors Soundabout inhabits.
• Review and update automated responses for mailing list sign ups and donations.

- We are looking for an experienced Independent Living Outreach Worker to join our Ageing Well in Place in Hulme Partnership team.
- You will be carrying out one-to-one case work with older and vulnerable people living in high rise social housing in the neighbourhood of Hulme, Manchester.
- You will be working together with tenant committees and an Ageing Well in Place Development Worker to increase service access, household income, and overall wellbeing, as well as improve integration and effectiveness among local providers.

- Engage with Integrated Care Board (ICB) leaders to help influence the development of your Integrated Care System (ICS).
- Work closely with the Professional Engagement team at Parkinson’s UK to organise and hold engagement opportunities in your region. This will include working with the team to hold and lead at least one in-person meeting in your region per year.
- Attend the annual in-person PEN National and Regional Clinical Leads meeting.
- Support the PEN national calendar of events through attendance or promotion. This includes Excellence Hub meetings and other activities centred around our national priorities.
- Work closely with the PEN National Clinical Leadership Team (CLT) to discuss and review national and regional priorities. Attend a virtual meeting with CLT 2 times per year.

Terms and conditions and staff benefits

About the role:
This is a crucial position as it will be your responsibility to ensure the growth of the charity, enabling us to support even more children and their families in Darfur, Sudan. You will be an experienced and highly motivated leader overseeing the overall development of the charity, ensuring its continued success in its next phase of the charity’s growth. You will oversee the charity’s budget to ensure the long-term financial sustainability and be responsible for the charity’s fundraising, grants, individuals and our events. Role summary
The Director of Admissions and Service Development (DASD) will play a pivotal role in shaping our admissions processes and service offer through utilising deep subject matter expertise of the needs and landscape for CYA with complex needs. Seashell’s national and regional networks will be strengthened and utilised through the DASD leadership of our ‘Complex Needs Mapping’ programme of work. They will promote Seashell’s role as a strategic partner, working in collaboration with commissioners and service providers to ensure CYA are supported by the right services, at the right time to achieve optimum outcomes whilst making best use of public funds.
This senior leadership position is responsible for the oversight and enhancement of our admissions process providing a single ‘front door’ into Seashell. The postholder will lead on Service Development initiatives to ensure they align with our organisational goals and the evolving needs of the communities we serve.
Working with the COO and Senior Leadership Operations Team colleagues, the DASD will define the admissions criteria to enable and support the best outcomes for the CYA and families who we support. Optimising occupancy across all service areas through efficient and effective admission, transfer and discharge processes, leadership and operational direction of the multi-disciplinary admissions function will be a key responsibility.
In addition, you will lead on development of Seashell’s ‘Knowledge Hub’ – our new external training, advisory and resource offer to professionals and practitioners to build their knowledge and skills in supporting young people with complex needs within their current settings and areas.
Developing strong links with commissioners and other external stakeholders, you will ensure a positive external profile of the services that Seashell offers, seeking opportunities for collaborative working and strategic opportunities for service developments.

Responsibilities
Strategic Communication and Transformation:
- Develop and execute a new international communications strategy to enhance ProVeg’s visibility and highlight the successes of the country offices.

The Bridge Group is a non-profit consultancy that uses research to promote social equality. We do this by supporting organisations of all kinds with independent expertise, research and practical know-how to enable them to make a tangible impact on socio-economic diversity and social equality.
We are seeking to appoint a Researcher (Quantitative analysis) to contribute to the design and delivery of research, with a particular focus on preparing and analysing quantitative data. The Researcher will normally be involved with research projects focusing on higher education and/or employment in relation to people from lower socio-economic backgrounds: their access, experiences and progression.
The location is flexible: Bridge Group staff normally work remotely and are currently dispersed across the UK and beyond. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Contribute to the design and delivery of research
Data analysis will vary from routine coding and mapping to descriptive statistics and advanced approaches including correlation analysis, ANOVAs and regression analysis. In preparing data, the Researcher will identify the need for clarifications and additional information on the data, and will clearly communicate these queries. The Researcher will undertake this work in strict compliance with the Charity’s policies on data security and confidentiality.
2. Collaborate with colleagues
The Researcher will normally work alongside the Senior Researcher (Quantitative), who will typically lead on the quantitative aspect of research projects and will allocate responsibilities to the Researcher. The Researcher will be expected to undertake these with relatively little guidance and share their findings with the research team, working alongside colleagues to synthesise qualitative and quantitative findings and understand how findings from various strands of research address key research questions.
3. Communicate research findings
The Researcher will clearly present their specific outputs to the Senior Researcher and/or other colleagues through concise informal reports. They will contribute verbally to internal meetings of the research team. The Researcher may contribute to drafting external reports (or sections of reports), presenting findings in a style accessible to a range of audiences.
4. Operational contributions
There will also be other more operational tasks associated with the role, working in collaboration with colleagues in the Charity. These are likely to include administrative tasks for meetings and events; communications with stakeholders, including by phone and email; copywriting; and website contributions.
SKILLS, UNDERSTANDING AND EXPERIENCE
We seek candidates with the following attributes:
Quantitative research
- Have experience in advanced statistical approaches including, for example, ANOVA, and non-parametric approaches
- Understand how these are used to explore social equality issues and are aware of recent published work in this area
- Have substantial experience of identifying the most appropriate approach to explore specific research questions within the context of the data available and the organisation(s) involved
- Have experience of working with large datasets that were not generated for research purposes and require extensive mapping and manipulation
- Are happy to undertake routine tasks, such as checking and cleaning datasets; matching and coding of datasets; and general descriptive statistics
- Pay uncompromising attention to accuracy and detail; and are skilled in identifying data challenges and limitations early in the process wherever possible
- In addition, it would be an advantage to have experience of working with deprivation/disadvantage metrics used in research relating to education and employment (e.g. Index of Multiple Deprivation and HESA measures)
Interpreting and presenting findings

About the Role
As the Senior Media & Communications Officer, you’ll lead on storytelling, media engagement and campaigns that support parents through pregnancy, birth and early parenthood.
You will:
· Spot and jump on media opportunities: Monitor news and trends, draft timely and impactful responses to the big issues affecting parents and maternity services in collaboration with NCT’s subject experts.
· Creative storytelling: Source inspiring stories from parents, volunteers and practitioners and showcase how our services empower and support people through pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood.
· Lead on PR campaigns to drive awareness of our charity’s work: Develop communication plans to grow awareness of NCT’s support, services, and campaigns, leading on the consumer PR for charity fundraising moments, such as NCT’s Winter Appeal, and in line with our For Every Parent strategy.
· Manage media relationships: Cultivate connections with journalists, ensuring NCT remains a trusted source for expert comment on maternity and parenting issues.
As Senior Media and Communications Officer, you will be a part of NCT’s Communications and Campaigns team, which brings together NCT’s campaigning, policy, media, parent and pregnancy information as well as our internal engagement team. You’ll also work collaboratively across the charity, including with subject matter experts including NCT Practitioners and our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Lead, as well as being the day-to-day point of contact with NCT’s PR Agency.
