At a time when our digital offering is expanding, we are looking for a Senior Website Officer in our Digital team with excellent web content, accessibility, SEO, and user journey knowledge as well as excellent stakeholder management skills to help elevate our website/s. You will provide first-class support (using Drupal 10) to improve content and infrastructure, user journeys, and UX.

Reporting to the Website Manager, you will work within a passionate Digital team and across the wider organisation to implement best practice and help to deliver upon our social mission.

You will;

• Lead on web content changes within the web team, contributing to the development of the website roadmap and infrastructure, and act as the day-to-day lead for providing web expertise and training to the organisation, identifying, and escalating bugs, supporting processes, audits, and clean-ups, and contributing to the implementation of strategies for continuous improvement.
• Have track record of content optimisation, problem solving, strong experience of writing for the web to deliver best practice and advise others on content, imagery, SEO, and accessibility and can communicate complex digital requirements to audiences.

Essential

Strong academic research, communication and presentation skills with experience of research projects related to safeguarding, including issues related to refugees, youths with disabilities and persons vulnerable to discrimination because of their gender.

· Experience and understanding of issues related to safeguarding in higher education in Francophone Africa.

· Professional level French and English.

· Skilled at identifying and mitigating risks.

We are looking for an ambitious and talented individual to join our Fundraising team as a Senior Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser. The role will support the Major Giving and Events Manager with the development and delivery of the charity’s corporate partnerships programme with responsibility for account managing our portfolio of Bridge Partners and developing a pipeline of new business to build meaningful relationships with corporate partners. You will identify, cultivate, and engage with prospects through bespoke proposals, events, and other appropriate fundraising activities in order to generate income to achieve ambitious targets.

We do this by offering grants to and working with, other organisations to deliver programmes that meet the needs of our beneficiaries. Experience and Background

You will be a natural communicator with the ability to persuade, influence and inspire, with the confidence, gravitas, and sensitivity to build relationships at a senior level and experience of creating and delivering presentations.You will have experience of identifying, developing, securing, and maintaining corporate or commercial partnerships in a similar fundraising or sales role.

Hours of Work

Hours of work are 35 hours per week, 09:00 – 17:00 Monday to Friday. 

We have a friendly, supportive, and inclusive environment with a hybrid working approach of 60% in office and 40% home-working.

Salary

The full time equivalent annual salary range for the post is between £33,000 up to £36,000 per annum, dependent upon experience.

Community Fundraiser North-East

Brain Tumour Research is looking for a Community Fundraiser to provide support, and to help our donors and supporters fundraise, building connections to ensure a lifetime relationship between the charity and individual.

Position: Community Fundraiser – North-East (Maternity Cover)
Location: Home based covering Yorkshire, Tyne and Wear, Northumberland, County Durham and Cleveland
Salary: Circa £28,500 per annum
Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week
Contract: Fixed term, Maternity Cover

As Community Fundraiser for the North-East, you will help deliver our strategic plans and objectives, by generating and growing income through community fundraising activities. Our community fundraisers also help raise awareness by engaging people with our work, and recruiting and supporting the fundraising of individuals, challenge event participants, our Fundraising Groups and Charity of the Year partnerships.
