This role involves overseeing both internal and external fundraising activities, ensuring campaigns are delivered on time, within budget, and in full compliance with all relevant legislation and Guide Dogs’ high standards.
You will manage relationships with third-party suppliers, analyse data, suggest improvements and monitor performance, address complaints, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure the smooth execution of fundraising initiatives across the organisation. We do this through the Parkinson’s UK Excellence Network (PEN), a network of around 6,000 health and care professionals with a shared vision: to build an expert Parkinson’s workforce and improve health and care services for people with Parkinson’s.
We bring together and support health and care professionals to share best practice, network and collaborate, share resources and education, and drive improvements to services for people with Parkinson’s and their loved ones.
Since its establishment in 2015, the Excellence Network has provided networking and collaboration opportunities for professionals across the different regions of the UK. In England, the Excellence Network is moving to a new regional model aligned to the 7 NHS England regions. The regional model in the devolved nations will remain the same: 3 regions in Scotland, 2 in Wales and 1 in Northern Ireland.
To help us deliver this new regional model, we are looking for 2 healthcare professionals to take on the role of Regional Clinical Lead on a consultancy basis.

You’ll:
- Be expected to co-opt a multidisciplinary leadership team to support you in your role. This team should reflect the multi-professional composition of regional services, as well as the geography and should include at least one person with Parkinson's.
- Drive engagement and participation with the Excellence Network at a regional level.
- Inspire, challenge and collaborate with the health and social care professional community to drive significant improvements to Parkinson’s services across your region.
- Act as a professional ambassador for the Excellence Network and help represent the professionals in your region.
- Engage with Integrated Care Board (ICB) leaders to help influence the development of your Integrated Care System (ICS).
- Work closely with the Professional Engagement team at Parkinson’s UK to organise and hold engagement opportunities in your region. This will include working with the team to hold and lead at least one in-person meeting in your region per year.
- Attend the annual in-person PEN National and Regional Clinical Leads meeting.
- Support the PEN national calendar of events through attendance or promotion. This includes Excellence Hub meetings and other activities centred around our national priorities.
- Work closely with the PEN National Clinical Leadership Team (CLT) to discuss and review national and regional priorities. Attend a virtual meeting with CLT 2 times per year.
What expertise you’ll bring
You’ll:
- Be a UK-based clinical healthcare professional, working in Parkinson’s or with extensive interest and expertise in the condition, with exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills. Healthcare professionals living with Parkinson’s are also encouraged to apply.
- Have a good understanding of the landscape of health and social care delivery, education and workforce development to support the strategic aims and objectives of Parkinson’s UK.
What you can expect from Parkinson’s UK
You’ll:
- Be formally welcomed and introduced to the Excellence Network and your role as a regional clinical lead.
- Be provided with an introduction pack, which outlines all the activities of the PEN at a national, regional and local level, so that you can gain an understanding of where your role fits in.
- Meet regularly with the Professional Engagement team to discuss and plan activity in your region, working to a co-developed engagement plan for your PEN region. We will be flexible, taking into account your individual needs.
- Meet with the Professional Engagement Lead or Associate Director of Policy & Health Strategy after 6 months in the role for a review meeting and then annually thereafter (or more frequently if required).
- Be provided with a set of resources and information to support you in your role eg. a ready made presentation on the PEN, data from the services within your patch, including relevant data from the UK Parkinson’s Audit.
- Be invited to an annual event for the National and Regional Clinical Leads, to provide updates, training and opportunities for discussion.

Time commitment will be 0.5 days per week (1 programmed activity) to be worked flexibly across the month.
Monthly rate will be based on skills and experience.
Term of consultancy services will be set tenure of 3 years from date of appointment, with an option to extend once for a further 3 years.

This role will support the Corporate Development Manager on all of Hospice UK’s Commercial Partnership activity. This involves helping to build relationships with more than 70 businesses across all industries, to secure £350k+ for Hospice UK.
You will communicate and work directly with organisations from healthcare, insurance, digital, sustainability and more, who want to collaborate with hospices on a range of different products and services. You will help the Corporate Development Manager to steward each company with a personalised communications plan to help move them from transactional to long term strategic partnerships, where organisations return each year and sponsor multiple projects.
Our Commercial partners exhibit at our conferences, sponsor reports, speak at webinars, support our newsletters and attend our events.
You will also support our Hospice UK Jobs Board. You will support the creation of a marketing and sales plan to ensure the Jobs Board can reach its potential and lead on the day to day management of job postings. This is an income-generating platform that promotes career opportunities within hospice and end of life care.
This role will suit someone who is already working in sales (doesn’t need to be third sector), or has an interest to grow their skills in this area and a willingness to learn. Our Commercial team over the years has been built on people from travel, conference and health sales backgrounds. The role does include administrative tasks.
This role will be a key part of our Corporate Development Team, who are responsible for bringing in around 20% of Hospice UK’s income.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Youth Participation Officer is a new role and will play a pivotal part in
advancing the integration of youth voice into our organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a well-established grassroots charity, to capture and amplify the voice of the young people in our community and truly make a difference.
The post holder will be required to work across all OTR services, partner agencies including schools, youth providers and other professionals. The post holder will also provide wrap around support, training and education, connection, mentoring and purposeful positive activities for our youth panel. The successful applicant will have a passion for engaging and empowering young people.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Youth Participation Officer
Location: Hybrid or office-based – OTR has two offices, both based in Leigh Park. PO9 3SU and PO9 5BG.
Reports to: Family Service Manager
Contract type: Fixed Term Contract for three years with the opportunity to extend the project if funding allows.
Hours: Part-time (12 hours a week)

JOB PURPOSE
To lead on all participation events, including implementing a youth panel and co-producing content with young people on information distribution, advertising and fundraisers.
You’ll work on a wide range of projects including creating engaging content in coproduction with our young people that aligns with OTR’s brand and values across our website, social media, and email campaigns. This includes developing multimedia content (including graphics, videos and blogs) to promote our work and highlight our impact in the local community.
Specific role duties
· Working together with young people to hear and share their voices about service delivery.
· Working with the Senior Leadership Team to develop a participation strategy, including establishing and supporting a youth panel.
· Provide safe sessions, where young people can meet and participate in youth-led positive activities.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Job Summary
Advance’s Head of Domestic Abuse (DA) services leads the organisation’s DA services across London. Working alongside the Director of DA Services, the head of DA is responsible for developing and delivering high quality services in line with Advance’s strategic aims. Key Responsibilities and Duties
Planning and Development
As part of the Senior Management Team, be responsible for ensuring the implementation of the annual strategic plan for Advance’s domestic abuse services.
Working closely with the Business Development team drive the development of services, contributing to bid development and tendering for services.
Be instrumental in raising the profile of Advance and in developing and sustaining partnerships, including leading the Angelou Partnership to deliver the programme’s objectives and impact.
External Stakeholders and Systems Change
Represent Advance and work with government and statutory agencies, and other community organisations; develop, maintain and review protocols with partner agencies.
Be active in network and partnership meetings, raising awareness of our services and identifying gaps to influence new service development. Maintain and develop relations with appropriate authorities, agencies, organisations and individuals, in consultation with the Director of Services.
Service Management and Leadership
Be a proactive and solution-focused member of Advance’s Senior Management Team. Contribute and participate in organisational planning, events, and fundraising activities.

High quality services to women and children
Implement and monitor quality assurance systems for all services including contract compliance and overseeing accreditation for our services.
Working with the Learning and Development Manager oversee the development of a consistent approach to programme training relevant to team and individual development needs. Ensure Advance’s DA services are high quality and workloads are manageable. Ensure that risk is well managed across all services, including safeguarding of women and children. Ensure effective systems are in place which capture relevant information and demonstrate the impact of all services, ensuring they are compliant with funders’ requirements
Oversee the development of operational plans for existing and new work and managing effective change within services.
Partnerships and funders’ management
Develop and maintain strong relationships with partners in the delivery of services, influential decision-makers and commissioners, upholding Advance’s reputation at all tend and communicate outcomes of regular strategic and operational meetings at London level in consultation with the Director of Services and Head of EA&P, as well as programme review meetings with funders and partners.
With support from the Evidence and Insights team, oversee reporting of service outcomes to commissioners and funders, ensuring any performance issues or challenges are identified and addressed.
Financial management
Manage programme budgets to a high standard, including agreeing and implementing solutions and action plans where variances and issues are identified. Ensure that funder’s requirements are met for all services and that Advance comply with monitoring returns
and statistics are available promptly for monitoring returns to funders and the board.

Overview
