The Role
We are seeking an energetic and collaborative team player to join our busy Examinations department. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated individual who possesses both administrative and supervisory experience and is keen to advance their career and lead our team to success.
You will be responsible for managing relationships with international centres and customers, supporting growth and allocating workload. Furthermore, you will provide leadership, support and line management to a team of examinations coordinators. You will be responsible for managing in-person tours to countries all over the world and for online assessments both in the UK and internationally.
With excellent communication skills, you will be proactive, focused and can take the initiative to meet strict deadlines across a number of simultaneous projects.
Hours: 35 hours per week; 4 days during the week and 1 day at the weekend.

Administration and compliance
- To ensure adherence to The Children’s Trust policies and procedures, in particular ensuring full compliance of the shops in line with all Health & Safety legislation, Trading Standards, Risk Assessments, Gift Aid, Lottery and all other legal or statutory requirements:
- Assist in controlling shop expenditure through effective cost control of weekly expenses.
- Ensure minimum losses of both stock and cash by following bank and till procedures and safeguarding the property of The Children’s Trust at all times.
- Adhere to all Policies and Procedures including those relating to the compliance with Health and Safety responsibilities, Gift Aid and Lottery.

Purpose of the Job:
This role is within our crisis alternative service – Safe Space - which is an out of hours service providing a safe and welcoming space for people who are feeling distressed and experiencing crisis. The service operates 365 days a year from 12:00pm(midday)-11:30pm across all of our boroughs. The shift pattern for this role is 4:30-11:30pm. This will be on a rota basis across support workers.
Staff within the service will provide person-centred, practical and emotional support, face to face or via telephone on a one-to-one or group basis to individuals experiencing mental health crisis. This will consist of 1:1 support; de-escalating and providing interventions, signposting for specialised or longer-term support, and delivering collaborative self-management plans with clients to improve mental wellbeing. The aim of this service is to de-escalate and prevent further crises.
The objectives of the service include:
- To improve the mental wellbeing of people experiencing mental health crisis in HFEH.
- To provide support to clients accessing the service- for instance: signposting, de-escalation, planned wellbeing activities etc.
- To contribute to an improvement in individual mental wellbeing.
- To remain a source of independent support for all clients.
- To treat service users with respect, dignity and personalised support
- To raise awareness of mental health services available with the goal to improve long term mental health and reduce social isolation
- To increase self-management skills of those accessing the service
- To reduce the use of police, ambulance and statutory mental health services whilst experiencing crisis.
- To reduce the use of statutory crisis services by people experiencing mental ill health without positive outcomes for the individual.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing a person centred and recovery orientated approach in all aspects of the roles and responsibilities.

Join our ambitious and talented team as a Learning Support Assistant in North London. Come and support our students aged 16 - 25 with learning differences, with their learning, work experience, personal growth and independence.
We specialise in horticulture, retail and general employability skills. You will support our students to participate fully at the Harington Scheme’s training centres in Highgate and Hornsey or on work experience. There will also be opportunities to support with enrichment, mentoring and group activities. About you
We are looking for someone with excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with patience and understanding to work with students to give them maximum choice and independence. You must have previous experience working with learners with learning disabilities, ideally within a classroom setting.

Harington is an Ofsted regulated specialist college based in north London. In June 2024 we were judged as Good by Ofsted. We work with young people with learning differences aged 16-25. Our students undertake individualised learning programmes that lead to vocational qualifications and other aims, including gardening, retail, English, maths, employability and independent living. We also deliver a supported internship programme.
Our charity's learning centres in Highgate and Hornsey alongside our charity's gardening business and two charity shops, provide a unique opportunity for students to practically apply their learning on work experience placements. We also work with other employers to provide opportunities in other settings to meet the aspirations of our students.
Our larger Highgate training centre is located in beautiful grounds, with a 1.8 acre horticulture site where we grow vegetables and flowers to sell at local markets.

RJ4All is looking for an innovative UK Operations Director who will drive impactful social justice projects and community initiatives while fostering strategic growth and income generation. Restorative Justice for All (RJ4All) is a charitable, user-led international institute with expertise in preventing and addressing harm at the individual, community and inter-state levels. We are one of the world’s leading experts in transferring complex criminological and social justice concepts into practice through real-life pilots and community projects.
The UK Operations Director will lead on the delivery, coordination, monitoring and evaluation of RJ4All’s UK-based services, and especially those run from the RJ4All Rotherhithe Community Centre. It is expected that they will generate income for the UK operations and contribute to new ideas for UK-based projects that fall within RJ4All’s agreed strategy. Finally, the post holder will act in place of the Director when they are unavailable or for any other agreed reason.

What could my day look like?
The Education Worker role is a frontline, fast-paced and rewarding role where no two weeks will look the same. A typical day will have different activities, possibly spread between the IntoUniversity centre, partner schools and the offices of a corporate partner.
In the morning, you might be setting off with resources to run a workshop for sixth-form students in their secondary school. In the afternoon you may be setting up the classroom ahead of running Primary Academic Support for young people in your IntoUniversity centre. On other days, you may be travelling to a corporate partner to run a business simulation workshop for 15 year-olds or leading a group of final year primary school students on a campus visit for their graduation.
As an Education Worker, you’ll always be delivering the programme as part of your centre team, which means that any delivery is always a team effort.

The main duties of the role

BACKGROUND
Sundial delivers high quality education and training on harmful practices, such as female genital mutilation (FGM), “honour”-based abuse (HBA) and harmful body alterations. We offer safeguarding training for teams of professionals such as teachers, police and social workers. We also deliver lessons in schools, as well as workshops for community groups. We ensure people from FGM- and HBA- affected communities and young people are at the forefront of our work. Our training and education work is sensitive, on point and age appropriate. All of our training is delivered in pairs, with at least one facilitator being from a community affected by the harmful practice discussed in the session.

Sundial Centre for Education on Harmful Practices work in locations across the Thames Valley, as well as Birmingham. Our Lead Trainer will need to travel to these locations and having a driving licence and car will be preferable, as there will be equipment and materials to carry.
Job Description
You will deliver workshops on harmful practices and abuse issues to a high professional standard, together with a co-facilitator, and carry out administrative tasks as required for the effective delivery of our education programme.
Person Specification
You will ideally be from a community affected by a harmful practice such as FGM/C or “honour”-based abuse and forced marriage. This does not necessarily mean you personally have been affected, but you have a deep understanding of the issues from living in your community.
Your knowledge of the topic: You will need a strong understanding of violence against women and girls (VAWG), ideally having experience working in the VAWG sector. You will have a strong understanding of some or all of the topics that we deliver, in order to deliver workshops with a high level of expertise and answer any questions during the session. A good understanding of safeguarding pathways would be desirable. Please note we are confident that someone with experience in the VAWG sector would be able to upskill themselves, with our help, if there is a topic they are not familiar with, e.g. spiritual abuse.
High level of organisation:
You will need to communicate with our Schools Coordinator to understand the details of the session, including who the session is for, any special requirements of the group and who you will be working with. You will need to link with your co-facilitator ahead of the session to have a planning meeting, including discussing the content of the session, who will deliver which parts, and any specific needs of the group. You will need to plan your own travel (reimbursed) - this can be anywhere in the Thames Valley, Birmingham or occasionally London. You may also need to link with your co-facilitator on their travel arrangements.
Administration skills:
Whilst the bookings will be made by our Schools Coordinator, you will still be expected to do some administration, such as completing records after the session.
Time management:
You will need to have excellent time management skills, including arriving at the venue in time to set up and deal with any last minute unforeseen issues which may arise (e.g. a school's firewall blocking our film materials). You will also need to deliver the content allowing enough time for each section of the training. This will require being able to effectively work with your co-facilitator. Each session should be well paced with time for questions at the end.
You as a facilitator:
It is important that you are a confident facilitator, including being comfortable to speak in front of a large group and able to project your voice. You will also need to be dynamic and engaging, facilitating activities / discussion and using high impact teaching methods to keep the group engaged. You will also need to be confident managing lots of questions or someone ‘over speaking’. You need to be thoughtful and sensitive to everyone in the room, including trying to ‘see’ everyone, and being encouraging and non-judgemental. You need to be comfortable working with adults, children and young people.
You as a leader:
You will need to be comfortable taking the lead alongside your co-facilitator. This will include directing them if there are particular sections for them to deliver, and being clear on timings. You will need to feel comfortable giving peer feedback, including on language used during the session and timings. You will need to be motivational and encouraging as a lead, keeping things positive whilst also professional.
You as a representative of Sundial:
You will need to maintain a high level of professionalism as a trainer, showing interest in the client (e.g. the school safeguarding lead who has booked the sessions) and helping to build the relationship between them and Sundial. For example, you may be asked to join the client for lunch and this can be a great opportunity to discuss the needs of the school and possibly suggest other training sessions. You will need to help the client feel confident that the session will run smoothly and that the content will be appropriate for the audience.
