About the Role

1.0 Job Purpose
The Relationship Fundraiser plays a crucial role in supporting the Relationship Manager in advancing North Yorkshire Hospice Care’s mission by assisting in the enhancement and management of relationships with individual donors.
The Relationship Fundraiser will assist in identifying potential donors, understanding their motivations, and contributing to tailored engagement strategies. Through these efforts, the fundraiser will help to ensure donors feel valued and connected to the charity's cause.
This role will primarily focus on growing and maintaining various fundraising avenues, including in memory, regular giving, facilitating legacy gifts or bequests in wills, and singular donations. The role aims to maximise opportunities for donor engagement and individual giving.
2.0 Key Tasks
- In-Memorium Fundraising Support: Assist in implementing sensitive and impactful strategies to encourage donations in memory of loved ones, ensuring memories are honoured and families and friends are supported throughout their giving journey.
- Regular Giving Support: Aid in driving the regular giving program to secure a sustainable income stream. This will involve supporting in creating tailored appeals, managing communications, and contributing to enhancing donor satisfaction and retention through regular updates and engagements.
- General Donations Assistance: Provide support in overseeing the process for general donations, maximising the ease and effectiveness of one-time and ongoing contributions. This may include assisting in campaign management, donor acknowledgment, and contributing to leveraging special events and anniversaries to inspire giving.

About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable individual for a hybrid role based in our Gloucester office with weekly travel expected to the Wiltshire & Swindon region. Job purpose
The Safe Haven Deputy Manager’s role is to be part of the Safe Haven management team and jointly ensure effective delivery of high-quality service for adults experiencing mental health crisis in Oxfordshire. The postholder will be required to independently lead a safe and effective shift and offer crisis mental health support for people presenting in mental health crisis including assessing risks, facilitating re-focusing activities, and conducting one-to-one support sessions on the phone and face to face focusing on person-centred listening, grounding, safety planning and exploring coping strategies. The Deputy Manager will lead on shift handovers and provide support to staff on day-to-day activities as well as provide one-to-one supervision for their direct reports.

Here at Peabody, we have an opportunity for a Team Manager on a Temporary basis for 12 months, covering our Colchester area.
A bit about the role:
As a Team Manager, you will provide leadership and direction for your team of Outreach Support Workers to deliver high quality and effective support services, which promote the independence, wellbeing and inclusion of customers.
As Team Manager, you will identify and deliver service improvement projects and initiatives that improve the effectiveness of the team and the outcomes of the service.
Some of the key results for the role include:
- Leading, supervising and managing a team of support workers, providing supervision every four to six weeks, and being responsible for ensuring they meet or exceed the requirements of their role.
- Providing a positive role model for support workers, by modelling good practice, advising on, and intervening in, complex and/or high-risk cases and assisting with the in-service induction of new staff.
- Ensuring that support workers carry out needs and risk assessments, complete support plans, provide support in accordance with the risk assessment plans and carry out reviews, in accordance with policies and procedures and the requirements of stakeholders and funders.
- Ensuring support workers deliver services to customers which are flexible and personalised.
This role will require an Enhanced DBS check and a UK driver’s licence and access to a vehicle.
The successful candidate must be available for the on call rota which includes waking nights and sleep ins.
This role would suit an experienced Senior Support Worker or Support Worker seeking career progression and/or development!
