Within this new role, the Head of Supported Living will be responsible for overseeing and developing supported living services for adults with learning disabilities within the charity.

The role ensures that services are person-centred, high-quality, and compliant with regulatory and organisational standards, while empowering individuals to live independently and achieve their goals.

As a direct report to a member of the Executive Management Team (EMT) the role becomes a member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and will be pivotal in delivering an ambitious transformation agenda and delivering the charities Brilliant Future Strategy.

What you’ll bring to the role:

·Professional Housing Qualification level 5 or above, with knowledge of housing management and housing legislation.

·Safeguarding Adults Level 5 or equivalent / Leadership in Health and Social Care level 5 or equivalent – are desirable not essential to the role

·Experience of leading housing management services within a context of delivering supported living.

·Experience and knowledge of Care Quality Commission regulations as they relate to supported living would be a distinct advantage.

·Experience of working and leading teams in not for profit and voluntary sector organisations which deliver services for adults with learning disabilities and autism.

Location & Travel - Hertfordshire, Gloucestershire, and Worcestershire

The role will cover our communities at Stourbridge (West Midlands), Gange Village & Oaklands Park (Gloucestershire) and St Albans & Delrow, Watford (Hertfordshire). You will be based at one of the communities within the region, with regular travel between all our communities. You will be required to attend quarterly Leadership Away days and other meetings which will require overnight stays.

Job purpose

Key responsibilities  

•Understand our cause, linked issues, and how these are publicly perceived 

•Horizon scan to spot social and news trends as well as potential influencer targets 

•Manage our social platforms, keeping abreast of media and public zeitgeist about our cause and related issues. Job Description

To provide advocacy support to a caseload of clients with complex mental health needs, including support around housing, finances, health, domestic abuse and other issues. CARA’s advocacy service focuses primarily on meeting the needs of some of our most complex clients – victims and survivors who would be unable to access other advocacy services.  The role will also involve supporting the wider CARA team in signposting other clients to external advocacy agencies, as appropriate and attendance at CARA groups to provide a drop-in advocacy surgery.

Main Responsibilities

·To manage a caseload of complex clients seeking short and long-term advocacy support, including support around housing, finances, health, domestic abuse and other issues.

·To manage referrals in to CARA’s Advocacy service, ensuring clients meet the referral criteria.

·To provide line-management for CARA’s social care placement worker and potential future advocacy volunteers.

·To assess all new referrals to CARA’s advocacy services, allocating cases to members of the advocacy team, as appropriate.

·To liaise with other agencies, receiving and making referrals and ensuring that they understand CARA’s role and services.

·To gather information about local and national agencies and manage storage and display of this material at CARA.  To work with CARA’s Integrated Support and Advocacy Manager to create a directory of services that can be used by all the CARA team.

·To support CARA’s group work, including attendance to provide advocacy support and supporting other activities.

·To attend regular team meetings and to work with colleagues to further the objectives of CARA.

·To maintain and collate evaluation data, testimonials or case studies for distribution.

·To adhere to CARA’s organisational policies and procedures, including safeguarding procedures.

Additional 32 hours (or 8 days of 4 hours each)

These will be agreed between you and your line-manager, and may include days during school holidays. They will typically include three whole team meetings, one delivery team meeting and the annual staff conference. These will be pro-rated based on when you join in the academic year.

IPSEA is the leading charity in the field of special educational needs and disability (SEND) law in England, and we provide free and independent legal advice and support to families of children and young people with SEND. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• With support from the Marketing Director, create and deliver content plans for charity fundraising and awareness campaigns.
• Take a lead role in developing a monthly marketing calendar to plan and schedule content in line with the overall Marketing Strategy
• Work directly with young people and through the Charity’s team to tell their stories, working to make this a positive, empowering experience for them.
• Prepare monthly analytics report and adjust marketing plans accordingly in discussion with Marketing Director.
• Write, design and send newsletters for charity stakeholders.
• Write, design and upload blogs posts on the Charity’s website.
• Write, design and schedule social media posts.
• With support from the Marketing Director, make updates and improvements to the Charity’s website.
• Monitor and respond to engagement on social media, maintaining a positive digital community. 
• Create press releases as requested and collaborate with PR partners to raise the profile of Caudwell Youth.
• Create designs for the Charity to use across all marketing channels, building strong relationships with all departments.
• Support consistent use of our brand across the charity 
• Support the volunteering function by implementing and evaluating digital advertising plans to recruit volunteer mentors, including by using social media and google ads grant.

TRAVEL & TEAM

• Some travel to events to take photos and videos for the charity.
• Some travel to work with young people.
• Endeavour to promote Caudwell Youth’s values in all that you do. 
• Be an ambassador for Caudwell Youth. 

ADMINISTRATION

• Work within budgets, properly justifying / accounting for expenditure.
• Ensure good administration, record keeping and reporting of all work undertaken in line with data protection and other regulations.

PARTNERSHIPS & LIAISON

• Work closely with the team and with key stakeholders to promote good communication and shared focus.
• Represent the Charity professionally and appropriately to other organisations.

The role ensures that services are person-centred, high-quality, and compliant with regulatory and organisational standards, while empowering individuals to live independently and achieve their goals.

What you’ll bring to the role:

·Professional Housing Qualification level 5 or above, with knowledge of housing management and housing legislation.

Location & Travel - North Yorkshire and North East

The role will cover our communities at Botton Village (Danby, North Yorks), Croft (Malton, North and Larchfield (Middlesbrough, Teesside). You will be based at one of the communities within the region, with regular travel between communities. The Specialist Housing IDVA will work within a dynamic, fast paced team to provide intervention, advocacy and support that empowers women and ensures that the voice of survivors informs every stage of their journey towards improved safety. This is a new and exciting service, and we are looking for someone passionate about ensuring that all survivors of domestic abuse are able to access safe and appropriate accommodation which meets their needs.

To be successful as the Senior Specialist Housing IDVA you will need the below experience and skills:

You will bring solid experience of supporting women who have experienced domestic abuse in all its forms; coming from a sector with transferrable skills or possess a feminist/VAWG higher level qualification.

You will have an excellent understanding of domestic abuse and its effects on survivors and their children, and of best practice within the domestic abuse and housing sectors. You will be skilled in risk management and safety planning, remaining calm in a crisis and in handling sensitive information on a daily basis. The post holder will hold a caseload of survivors and will also be required to support Advance’s duty team on a rota basis which will involve completing intake assessments and providing crisis intervention support.

Overall Duties of the Commercial Bid Writer & Fundraiser  will include:

• Taking the lead in identifying, coordinating, and managing tendering opportunities, processes, and contracts for TACT.
