A key requirement is to provide personal one to one and group support to children and young people to ensure they are provided with a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment. The post holder will support children who have witnessed or experienced domestic violence and plan and provide stimulating, safe, and appropriate activities.
This post is restricted to women due to the nature of the role. The Occupational Requirement under Schedule 9 (part 1) of the Equality Act 2010 applies.

Lambourne End Centre are looking to recruit a Fundraising and Marketing Coordinator. The post holder will be responsible for raising revenue and capital funds primarily from trusts, companies and through organising fundraising events to support the work of the Centre. They will also be required to promote the Centre to potential funders, user groups and the public, especially via the Centre’s website and social media channels. Candidates will need to demonstrate that they can think creatively, use initiative and work productively with colleagues. They need to have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to enthuse others.
This exciting opportunity will ideally suit someone at the early stages of their career in charity fundraising.
The post will be based on a 35 hour week, but will involve flexible working including occasional evenings and weekends.

People Advisor
We are looking for an experienced customer focused People Advisor, with a solid generalist background, who is used to pro-actively coaching managers on a wide variety of People (staff and volunteer) activities and projects.

Position: POD35 People Advisor

The Role
Reporting to the People Business Partner, the (role) will:
· Deliver people practices and support that strengthen our organisational culture, with a focus on recruitment.
· Provide trusted advice and coaching and to your areas guided by our policies, sound best practice and legal compliance.
· Deliver the support needed for the effective implementation of our people policies and practices. Leading on Employee Relations cases when needed.
Key responsibilities will include:
· To proactively develop trusted relationships across the organisation to support the business in understanding and implementing HR policies and practices.
· To provide trusted subject matter expertise and advice in line with Stroke Association policies and procedures across the people lifecycle, recommending development where relevant.
· To maintain up to date knowledge of employment law and HR best practice as it relates to Stroke Association policies and practices and to check systems and processes are compliant.
· Effectively use the HR system and data to implement policies and practices, knowledge of Itrent is desirable, with a particular focus on recruitment.
· To support implementation of people processes, providing advice and support on process, and providing appropriate HR input during informal and formal processes.
About You
You will have a proven record of:
· Generalist HR experience
· Experience of effective team working and self-development, with a proven track record of supporting and delivering HR operations
· Relevant professional people qualifications and membership of CIPD

Adapt materials and activities to suit different age groups and learning styles.
6. Implementing BelEve Safeguarding Policy
Enforce and implement Safeguarding across all BelEve programmes to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants. Address any behavioural issues or conflicts that arise in a fair and respectful manner.
7. Building Relationships
Establish positive relationships with the young people within our community, their families, and the wider community. Foster trust and rapport to create a supportive network for young people.
8. Report & Evaluation of BelEve Programmes
Assess the impact and effectiveness of our programmes through participant feedback, observation, and evaluation metrics. Use this information to make improvements and adjustments as necessary.
9. Collaborating with Stakeholders
Work closely with other youth workers, volunteers, partner organisations, schools, and community leaders to coordinate activities and resources for youth development.
10. Maintaining Records
Maintain clear & concise session notes, keep accurate records of programme attendance, participant demographics, and any incidents or concerns that arise. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and reporting requirements.
11. Professional Development
Stay informed about best practices, trends, and developments in youth work and related fields. Seek out opportunities for professional development and training to enhance skills and knowledge.
12. Advocacy
Support and advocate for the needs and rights of young people within BelEve and the broader community. Raise awareness about issues affecting youth and work towards positive change.
13. Administrative Tasks
Perform administrative duties such as impact studies, end of programme reports as needed to support the smooth operation of our programmes.
