Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage a pipeline of corporate partnership prospects, focusing on securing multi-year, high-value commitments.
• Collaborate with internal teams to create compelling partnership proposals.
• Leverage the charities public campaigns and networks to grow business relationships.
• Create engagement opportunities through a mix of events and activities that showcase the impact of our work.
• Pitch, present, and secure corporate partnerships in sectors such as health, wellness, and pharmaceuticals.
• Maintain partnership data and track progress using CRM tools.
• Actively network and represent the organisation at industry events.

Essential skills:

• Proven experience in a corporate partnerships or new business role, ideally within the charity or health sector.
• Track record of securing partnerships worth £50k+.
• Strong communication, presentation, and proposal writing skills.
• Ability to develop and manage a pipeline of partnership opportunities.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to travel within the UK for partner meetings as needed.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience or knowledge of the pharmaceutical sector and its regulations.

• The team are experts in providing excellent customer care and have to maintain good working knowledge of all fundraising activity; research developments; current campaigns and the requirements of people affected by Parkinson’s 
• Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of systems and procedures including the organisation's feedback function. 

What you’ll bring:

• Proven experience of delivering effective customer service/supporter care with the ability to deal with enquiries in a diplomatic and sensitive manner
• Demonstrable experience of working with a relational database and accurate data entry
• Ability to understand numerous complex data manipulation and financial processes, procedures and platforms; necessitating a high level of skill, accuracy and understanding of data and financial dependencies
• Ability to work flexibly and effectively as part of a team 
• Ability to develop positive working relationships with a range of people internally and externally.

About the role

Christian Aid's Campaign and UK Advocacy division exists to support Christian Aid's mission by making change happen through influencing people in power; engaging, inspiring and equipping people to make their voice heard; and working with allies and champions in the church, Parliament and beyond.

This role exists to influence members of the UK Parliament and other political targets to help advance our policy, advocacy and campaigning on climate and economic justice, and crisis contexts - currently with a particular focus on Gaza and the wider Occupied Palestinian Territory. About you

A lot of people know NCT for our antenatal classes, and we want to continue to support as many parents and families as we can to access evidence-based information. But we are also much more than this. We are a charity that campaigns on the issues that matter to parents. We run breastfeeding and infant feeding support, provided by specialist counsellors. We run thousands of free community activities and events across the UK, led by our fantastic volunteers and peers. And we support women and families facing specific challenges, such as social isolation, feeding difficulties or poor mental health. 

Our Hartlepool Infant Feeding and Perinatal Mental Health Peer Support projects are commissioned by Hartlepool Council, to offer infant feeding support across the region in both community and hospital settings and perinatal mental health peer support for families throughout the Hartlepool community. The support is delivered by staff and volunteer peer supporters.

We are seeking a capable Peer Supporter who will support parents at University Hospital of North Tees and at various community settings in Hartlepool. This role will mainly be based out in the community (expenses will be reimbursed). 

About the Role 

You will be responsible for offering peer support for parents within University Hospital of North Tees 

and the community across Hartlepool. Some of the key responsibilities of the role include: 

• Providing breastfeeding support to families on the wards at University Hospital of North Tees 

 and perinatal mental health and infant feeding peer support in community settings across Hartlepool. 

• Support in delivering inductions for volunteer peer supporters.  

• To report any concerns or additional support needs of women to the NCT management team.   

• To attend regular supervision/support sessions.  

• Having a good working knowledge and understanding of the local demographics in the Hartlepool area and ensuring all support is accessible and inclusive.

• Ensure that data collection and feedback is collected in a timely manner in an inclusive way. 

You must have good communication skills and be able to build relationships and create a rapport with a wide range of people easily. You must be able to confidently prioritise your own work, be highly organised and able to work independently. 

Being able to make decisions and respond appropriately to our staff, peer supporters and parents and other external stakeholders is essential, alongside good IT skills– including Outlook, Word and Excel – and you must have good attention to detail.

AKF(UK) Partnerships Managers are part of the Global Aga Khan Foundation (AKF) Partnerships team tasked with identifying and cultivating new funding partnerships and strengthening existing ones to support our strategic goals. They engage with European and Asian government, foundation, and corporate donors to mobilise resources for ten multisector profit and not-for-profit agencies of the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) operating across Asia and Africa. 4.1 Securing resources

• Coordinate, facilitate, and lead the development, review, and quality assurance of expressions of interest, concept notes and full proposals for funding opportunities;
• Liaise and coordinate with internal stakeholders as well as with donors, partners, and consortia to facilitate project design, align proposal and donor requirements, gather required legal and administrative documentation, and draft sections of proposals as needed;
• Coordinate processes of contracting and negotiation, engaging relevant stakeholders, and ensuring contracts ‘get over the line’ in a timely and efficient way;
• When needed, provide direct hands-on support at field level in design of concept notes, proposals, and budgets and conduct donor or field visits to support discussions with new and existing donors/partners;

4.2 Grant management

• Manage and monitor a portfolio of grants through regular interface and coordination with AKF(UK)’s partnerships team, AKF(UK)’s finance team and relevant AKF/AKDN agencies/field units, acting as a central resource for field units in donor best practice;
• Interface with donors and communicate on a regular basis about the implementation of on-going grants to ensure strong, enduring relationships;
• Ensure strong relationship cultivation throughout the grants cycle, anticipate, and plan for future funding and project extensions;
• Oversight, coordination, review, and quality assurance of donor deliverables (e.g. work plans, monitoring and evaluation plans, staffing plans, budgets, close-out plans, donor troubleshooting);
• Ensure adherence with donor requirements, rules, and regulations, and that grant deliverables are produced on time and to a high standard;
• Coordinate contractual amendments, changes, and project adaptations, engage with donors in a pro-active and diplomatic way, and flag potential changes (e.g. budget revisions, extensions, risks) in advance to ‘trouble shoot’ and ensure smooth project implementation;
• Facilitate grant monitoring efforts including routine coordination meetings, donor steering committees, donor project visits, and donor monitoring missions;

4.3 Donor engagement and positioning

• Support the partnership unit in researching, sourcing relevant information, and performing analysis of market trends on new donors, peer organisations, and funding opportunities to identify potential funding and partnering matches for AKF and AKDN priorities;
• Work with country teams, AKDN agencies, and the Global Programmes Team (GPT) to identify, build, and support strategic partnerships on aligned global and regional initiatives, innovations and themes with likeminded donors and partners;
• Develop positioning materials (e.g. presentations, capability statements, briefs, talking points), collaborating with communications teams, to enable effective donor engagement;
• Engage with new and existing donors and partners to identify solicited and unsolicited funding opportunities;
• Guide teams to make informed, effective decisions on which opportunities to pursue (including ‘Go No-Go’ requests);
• Identify, cultivate, and pre-position with partner organisations to form or join consortia focused funding bids;
• Conduct due diligence on new partners in coordination with finance and partnerships teams.

• Support the influencing of the development sector by convening and participating at events (e.g. conferences, roundtables, policy forums) to share lessons, innovations and knowledge about our programmes that position us as ‘thought leaders’;
• Engage communications teams to identify opportunities and support the development of content (e.g. social media campaigns, videos) that promote AKF and AKDN’s work and position us as ‘partners of choice’ in the sector. Carry out any other duties as assigned by the Deputy Regional Director of Partnerships or Regional Director of Partnerships.

About the role

We’re looking for a Media and Communications Officer to join our Media and PR team.

As a member of the team, you'll have a fundamental role in helping us to deliver on our promise to support young people and their families to deal with the impact of cancer, both during and beyond treatment.

This role, working together with other members of the Policy, Communications and Voice directorate and the wider charity, will help us achieve this by amplifying the voices and experiences of children and young people with cancer, influencing the system to create change and raising awareness and funds.

• Uphold the highest standards of ethical content collection and adherence to global consent processes and image guidelines, thereby protecting the dignity and rights of all individuals featured in Save the Children’s marketing and communications.
• Strategically lead our approach to content in an emergency to drive audience engagement, fundraising and brand equity.

2. Significant experience of developing and implementing brand and content strategies, as well as strategic initiatives to advance the organisation's mission that require deep stakeholder engagement.

Provide strong, visionary leadership to foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment. Empower team members and build a culture of mutual respect and trust.

Developing and nurturing high-performing teams and actively listens and allows others to be heard.

Education and Qualifications

Essential

• A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or a related Or equivalent work experience.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is essential; additional language skills, particularly in other UN languages, can be beneficial.

Desirable

• Relevant Professional Certifications: Certifications from recognised institutions in strategic marketing or brand management can be advantageous.
